4:1
ወመልአ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ላዕለ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወተመይጠ እምዮርዳኖስ ወወሰዶ መንፈስ ገዳመ ።
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness
耶穌被聖靈充滿，從約旦河回來，聖靈將他引到曠野，
4:2
አርብዓ መዐልተ ወአርብዓ ሌሊተ ያሜክሮ ሰይጣን ወኢበልዐ ወኢሰትየ ምንተኒ በውእቶን መዋዕል ወተፈጺሞን እማንቱ መዋዕል ርኅበ ።
for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. Afterward, when they were completed, he was hungry.
四十天受魔鬼的試探。那些日子沒有吃甚麼；日子滿了，他就餓了。
4:3
ወይቤሎ ሰይጣን እመሰ ወልደ እግዚአብሔር አንተ በል ዝንቱ እብን ይኩን ኅብስተ ።
The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”
魔鬼對他說：「你若是上帝的兒子，可以吩咐這塊石頭變成食物。」
4:4
ወአውሥአ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወይቤሎ ጽሑፍ ዘይብል «አኮ በኅብስት ክመ ዘየሐዩ ሰብእ አላ በኵሉ ቃል ዘይወፅእ እምአፉሁ ለእግዚአብሔር ።»
Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’”
耶穌回答說：「經上記着說：『人活着不是單靠食物，乃是靠上帝口裏所出的一切話。』」
4:5
ወአዕረጎ ሰይጣን ውስተ ደብር ነዋኅ ወአርአዮ መንግሥታተ ኵሉ ዓለም ከመ ወኢምንትኒ ።
The devil, leading him up on a high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
魔鬼又領他上了高山，霎時間把天下的萬國都指給他看，
4:6
ወይቤሎ ሰይጣን ዘንተ ኵሎ ምኵናነ ለከ እሁበከ ወዘንተኒ ክብረ እስመ ሊተ ተውህበ ወለዘፈቀድኩ እሁቦ ።
The devil said to him, “I will give you all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I want.
對他說：「這一切權柄、榮華，我都要給你，因為這原是交付我的，我願意給誰就給誰。
4:7
ወእምከመ ሰገድከ ሊተ አንተ ቅድሜየ ለከ ይኩንከ ኵሉ ።
If you therefore will worship before me, it will all be yours.”
你若在我面前下拜，這都要歸你。」
4:8
ወአውሥአ ወይቤሎ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ሑር እምድኅሬየ ሰይጣን ጽሑፍ «ለእግዚአብሔር አምላክከ ትስግድ ወኪያሁ ባሕቲቶ ታምልክ ።»
Jesus answered him, “Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’”
耶穌說：「經上記着說： 當拜主－你的上帝， 單要事奉他。」
4:9
ወወሰዶ ኢየሩሳሌም ወአቀሞ ዲበ ርእሰ ማዕዘንተ ቤተ መቅደስ ወይቤሎ እመሰ ወልደ እግዚአብሔር አንተ ረድ ለሊከ ታሕተ እምዝየ ወተወረው ።
He led him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down from here,
魔鬼又領他到耶路撒冷去，叫他站在殿頂 上，對他說：「你若是上帝的兒子，可以從這裏跳下去；
4:10
እስመ ጽሑፍ «ከመ ለመላእክቲሁ ይኤዝዞሙ በእንቲኣከ ከመ ይዕቀቡከ በኵሉ ፍናዊከ ።
for it is written, ‘He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you;’
因為經上記着說： 主要為你吩咐他的使者保護你；
4:11
ወበእደዊሆሙ ያነሥኡከ ከመ ኢትትዐቀፍ በእብን እግረከ ።»
and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest perhaps you dash your foot against a stone.’”
他們要用手托着你， 免得你的腳碰在石頭上。」
4:12
ወአውሥአ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወይቤሎ ተብህለ «ኢታመክሮ ለእግዚአብሔር አምላክከ ።»
Jesus answering, said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”
耶穌對他說：「經上說：『不可試探主－你的上帝。』」
4:13
ወፈጺሞ ሰይጣን አመክሮቶ በኵሉ ኀደጎ እስከ ጊዜሁ ።
When the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him until another time.
魔鬼用完了各樣的試探，就暫時離開耶穌。
4:14
ወተመይጠ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ በኀይለ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ወሖረ ገሊላ ወተሰምዐ ነገሩ በኵሉ በሓውርት ።
Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and news about him spread through all the surrounding area.
耶穌滿有聖靈的能力，回到加利利；他的名聲就傳遍了四方。
4:15
ወይሜህሮሙ በኵሉ ምኵራባቲሆሙ ወያነክሩ ምህሮቶ ወይሴብሕዎ ኵሉ ።
He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
他在各會堂裏教訓人，眾人都稱讚他。
4:16
ወሖረ ናዝሬተ ኀበ ተሐፅነ ወቦአ ምኵራበ በዕለተ ሰንበት በከመ ያለምድ ወተንሥአ ያንብብ ።
He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. He entered, as was his custom, into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
耶穌來到拿撒勒，就是他長大的地方。在安息日，照他平常的規矩進了會堂，站起來要念聖經。
4:17
ወወሀብዎ መጽሐፈ ኢሳይያስ ነቢይ ወከሢቶ መጽሐፈ ረከበ መካነ ኀበ ጽሑፍ ዘይብል ።
The book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written,
有人把先知以賽亞的書交給他，他就打開，找到一處寫着說：
4:18
«መንፈሰ እግዚአብሔር ላዕሌየ ዘበእንቲአሁ ቀብዐኒ እዜንዎሙ ለነዳያን ፈነወኒ ወእስብክ ሎሙ ግዕዛነ ለፂዉዋን ወአስተፍሥሖሙ ለኅዙናን ወይርአዩ ዕዉራን ወአንግፎሙ ለግፉዓን ወእፍትሖሙ ለሙቁሓን ወእፈውሶሙ ለቍሱላን ።
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,
主的靈在我身上， 因為他用膏膏我， 叫我傳福音給貧窮的人； 差遣我報告： 被擄的得釋放， 瞎眼的得看見， 叫那受壓制的得自由，
4:19
ወእስብክ ዐመተ እግዚአብሔር ኅሪተ »።
and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
報告上帝悅納人的禧年。
4:20
ወከደነ መጽሐፈ ወመጠዎ ለላእክ ወነበረ ወአንሥኡ አዕይንቲሆሙ ኵሎሙ እለ ሀለዉ ውስተ ምኵራብ ወነጸርዎ ።
He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.
於是把書捲起來，交還執事，就坐下。會堂裏的人都定睛看他。
4:21
ወአኀዘ ይበሎሙ ዮም በጽሐ ቃለ ዝንቱ መጽሐፍ ወተሰልጠ ውስተ እዘኒክሙ ።
He began to tell them, “Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
耶穌對他們說：「今天這經應驗在你們耳中了。」
4:22
ወእለ ሰምዕዎ ኵሎሙ አንከሩ ሞገሰ ቃሉ ወሣእሣአ አፉሁ ወይቤሉ አኮኑ ዝንቱ ውእቱ ወልደ ዮሴፍ ።
All testified about him and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth; and they said, “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?”
眾人都稱讚他，並希奇他口中所出的恩言；又說：「這不是約瑟的兒子嗎？」
4:23
ወይቤሎሙ ቦኑ ትብሉኒ ኵልክሙ ዛተ ምሳሌ ዐቃቤ ሥራይ ፈውስ ርእሰከ ኵሎ ዘሰማዕነ ዘገበርከ በቅፍርናሆም ግበር በዝየኒ በሀገርከ ።
He said to them, “Doubtless you will tell me this proverb, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in your hometown.’”
耶穌對他們說：「你們必引這俗語向我說：『醫生，你醫治自己吧！我們聽見你在迦百農所行的事，也當行在你自己家鄉裏』」；
4:24
ወይቤሎሙ አማን እብለክሙ ኢይከብር ነቢይ በሀገሩ ።
He said, “Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.
又說：「我實在告訴你們，沒有先知在自己家鄉被人悅納的。
4:25
አማን እብለክሙ ብዙኃት መበለታት ሀለዋ በውስተ እስራኤል አመ መዋዕለ ኤልያስ ነቢይ አመ ተዐጽወ ሰማይ ሠለስተ ዓመተ ወስድስተ አውራኀ እስከ ኮነ ረኀብ ዐቢይ ውስተ ኵሉ ምድር ።
But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land.
我對你們說實話，當以利亞的時候，天閉塞了三年零六個月，遍地有大饑荒，那時，以色列中有許多寡婦，
4:26
ወኢተፈነወ ኤልያስ ኀበ አሐቲ እምኔሆን ዘእንበለ ኀበ አሐቲ ብእሲት መበለት ዘሰራጵታ ዘሲዶና ።
Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.
以利亞並沒有奉差往她們一個人那裏去，只奉差往西頓的撒勒法一個寡婦那裏去。
4:27
ወብዙኃን እለ ለምጽ ሀለዉ በውስተ እስራኤል አመ መዋዕለ ኤልሳዕ ነቢይ ወኢነጽሐ አሐዱሂ እምኔሆሙ ዘእንበለ ንእማን ሶርያዊ ።
There were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian.”
先知以利沙的時候，以色列中有許多長大痲瘋的，但內中除了敘利亞國的乃縵，沒有一個得潔淨的。」
4:28
ወተምዑ ኵሎሙ እለ ሀለዉ በምኵራብ ሰሚዖሙ ዘንተ ።
They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue as they heard these things.
會堂裏的人聽見這話，都怒氣滿胸，
4:29
ወተንሥኡ ሶቤሃ ወአውፅእዎ አፍኣ እምሀገር ወወሰድዎ ውስተ ሕፅነ ርእሰ ደብር ዘተነድቀት ላዕሌሁ ሀገሮሙ ከመ ያጽድፍዎ ።
They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff.
就起來攆他出城（他們的城造在山上）；他們帶他到山崖，要把他推下去。
4:30
ወውእቱሰ ኀለፈ እንተ ማእከሎሙ ወሖረ ።
But he, passing through the middle of them, went his way.
他卻從他們中間直行，過去了。
4:31
ወወረደ ቅፍርናሆም ሀገረ ገሊላ ወመሀሮሙ በሰንበት ።
He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. He was teaching them on the Sabbath day,
耶穌下到迦百農，就是加利利的一座城，在安息日教訓眾人。
4:32
ወያነክሩ ምህሮቶ እስመ በትእዛዝ ውእቱ ቃሉ ።
and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority.
他們很希奇他的教訓，因為他的話裏有權柄。
4:33
ወሀሎ ብእሲ በምኵራብ ዘጋኔን እኩይ ላዕሌሁ ወከልሐ በዐቢይ ቃል ።
In the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice,
在會堂裏有一個人，被污鬼的精氣附着，大聲喊叫說：
4:34
ወይቤ ምንት ብየ ምስሌከ ኢየሱስ ናዝራዊ መጻእከኑ ታጥፍአነ አአምረከ መኑ አንተ ኦ ቅዱሱ ለእግዚአብሔር ።
saying, “Ah! what have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God!”
「唉！拿撒勒的耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是上帝的聖者。」
4:35
ወገሠጾ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወይቤሎ ተፈፀም ወፃእ እምኔሁ ወነፅኆ ጋኔኑ ማእከለ ምኵራብ ወወፅአ እምኔሁ ወኢነከዮ ወኢምንተኒ ።
Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown him down in the middle of them, he came out of him, having done him no harm.
耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲，從這人身上出來吧！」鬼把那人摔倒在眾人中間，就出來了，卻也沒有害他。
4:36
ወደንገፁ ኵሎሙ ወተናገሩ በበይናቲሆሙ ወይቤሉ ምንትኑ ዝ ነገር እስመ በትእዛዝ ወበኀይል ይኤዝዞሙ ለአጋንንት እኩያን ወይወፅኡ ።
Amazement came on all and they spoke together, one with another, saying, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”
眾人都驚訝，彼此對問說：「這是甚麼道理呢？因為他用權柄能力吩咐污鬼，污鬼就出來。」
4:37
ወወፅአ ወተሰምዐ ነገሩ በኵሉ በሓውርተ አድያም ።
News about him went out into every place of the surrounding region.
於是耶穌的名聲傳遍了周圍地方。
4:38
ወወፂኦ እምኵራብ ቦአ ቤተ ስምዖን ወሐማቱ ለስምዖን ተሐምም ዐቢየ ፈፀንተ ወነገርዎ በእንቲኣሃ ።
He rose up from the synagogue and entered into Simon’s house. Simon’s mother-in-law was afflicted with a great fever, and they begged him to help her.
耶穌出了會堂，進了西門的家。西門的岳母害熱病甚重，有人為她求耶穌。
4:39
ወቆመ ኀቤሃ ወገሠጾ ለፈፀንታ ወኀደጋ ወተንሥአት ሶቤሃ ወተልእክቶሙ ።
He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. Immediately she rose up and served them.
耶穌站在她旁邊，斥責那熱病，熱就退了。她立刻起來服事他們。
4:40
ወሶበ የዐርብ ፀሓይ አምጽኡ ኀቤሁ ኵሎ ድዉያነ ወሕሙማነ እለ ቦሙ ደዌ ዘዘ ዚኣሁ ወለለ አሐዱ እምኔሆሙ አንበረ እዴሁ ዲቤሆሙ ወፈወሶሙ ።
When the sun was setting, all those who had any sick with various diseases brought them to him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.
日落的時候，凡有病人的，不論害甚麼病，都帶到耶穌那裏。耶穌按手在他們各人身上，醫好他們。
4:41
ወብዙኃን አጋንንት ይወፅኡ ወይኬልሑ ወይብልዎ አንተ ውእቱ ክርስቶስ ወልደ እግዚአብሔር ወይጌሥጾሙ ወኢያበውሖሙ ይንብቡ እስመ የአምርዎ ከመ ውእቱ ክርስቶስ ።
Demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” Rebuking them, he didn’t allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.
又有鬼從好些人身上出來，喊着說：「你是上帝的兒子。」耶穌斥責他們，不許他們說話，因為他們知道他是基督。
4:42
ወጸቢሖ ወፅአ ወሖረ ውስተ ገዳም ወኀሠሥዎ ሕዝብ ወሖሩ ኀቤሁ ወአኀዝዎ ወአቀምዎ ከመ ኢይኅልፍ እምኔሆሙ ።
When it was day, he departed and went into an uninhabited place and the multitudes looked for him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he wouldn’t go away from them.
天亮的時候，耶穌出來，走到曠野地方。眾人去找他，到了他那裏，要留住他，不要他離開他們。
4:43
ወይቤሎሙ ለካልኣትኒ አህጉር ሀለወኒ እዜንዎን በእንተ መንግሥተ እግዚአብሔር እስመ እንበይነ ዝንቱ ተፈነውኩ ።
But he said to them, “I must preach the good news of God’s Kingdom to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent.”
但耶穌對他們說：「我也必須在別城傳上帝國的福音，因我奉差原是為此。」
4:44
ወይሰብክ በምኵራባተ ገሊላ ።
He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
於是耶穌在加利利的各會堂傳道。
