6:1
ወባሕቱ ዑቁ ምጽዋተክሙ ኢትግበሩ ለዐይነ ሰብእ ከመ ታስተርእዩ ሎሙ ወእመ አኮሰ ዐስብ አልብክሙ በኀበ አቡክሙ ዘበሰማያት።
“Be careful that you don’t do your charitable giving before men, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.
「你們要小心，不可將善事行在人的面前，故意叫他們看見，若是這樣，就不能得你們天父的賞賜了。
6:2
ወሶበሂ ትገብሩ ምጽዋተክሙ ኢትንፍሑ ቀርነ ቅድሜክሙ በከመ ይገብሩ መደልዋን በመኳርብት ወበአስኳት ወበፍናው ከመ ይትአኰቱ እምኀበ ሰብእ አማን እብለክሙ ኀጕሉ ዕሴቶሙ።
Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
所以，你施捨的時候，不可在你前面吹號，像那假冒為善的人在會堂裏和街道上所行的，故意要得人的榮耀。我實在告訴你們，他們已經得了他們的賞賜。
6:3
ወአንተሰ ሶበ ትገብር ምጽዋተከ ኢታእምር ፀጋምከ ዘትገብር የማንከ።
But when you do merciful deeds, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does,
你施捨的時候，不要叫左手知道右手所做的，
6:4
ከመ በኅቡእ ይኩን ምጽዋትከ ወአቡከ ዘይሬእየከ በኅቡእ የዐስየከ ክሡተ።
so that your merciful deeds may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
要叫你施捨的事行在暗中。你父在暗中察看，必然報答你 。」
6:5
ወሶበሂ ትጼልዩ ኢትኩኑ ከመ መደልዋን እስመ እሙንቱ ያፈቅሩ ቀዊመ ወጸልዮ በመኳርብት ወውስተ መዓዝነ መራሕብት ከመ ያስተርእዩ ለሰብእ አማን እብለክሙ ኀጕሉ ዕሴቶሙ።
“When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward.
「你們禱告的時候，不可像那假冒為善的人，愛站在會堂裏和十字路口上禱告，故意叫人看見。我實在告訴你們，他們已經得了他們的賞賜。
6:6
ወአንተሰ ሶበ ትጼሊ ባእ ቤተከ ወዕፁ ኆኅተከ ወጸሊ ለአቡከ ሰማያዊ በኅቡእ ወአቡከ ዘይሬእየከ በኅቡእ የዐስየከ ክሡተ።
But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
你禱告的時候，要進你的內屋，關上門，禱告你在暗中的父；你父在暗中察看，必然報答你。
6:7
ወእንዘ ትጼልዩ ኢትዘንግዑ ከመ አሕዛብ እስመ ይመስሎሙ በአብዝኆ ንባቦሙ ዘይሰምዖሙ።
In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking.
你們禱告，不可像外邦人，用許多重複話，他們以為話多了必蒙垂聽。
6:8
ኢትትመሰልዎሙኬ እስመ የአምር አቡክሙ ሰማያዊ ዘትፈቅዱ ዘእንበለ ትስአልዎ።
Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him.
你們不可效法他們；因為你們沒有祈求以先，你們所需用的，你們的父早已知道了。
6:9
አንትሙሰ ሶበ ትጼልዩ ከመዝ በሉ አቡነ ዘበሰማያት ይትቀደስ ስምከ።
Pray like this: “‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
所以，你們禱告要這樣說： 我們在天上的父： 願人都尊你的名為聖。
6:10
ትምጻእ መንግሥትከ ወይኩን ፈቃድከ በከመ በሰማይ ከማሁ በምድር።
Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
願你的國降臨； 願你的旨意行在地上， 如同行在天上。
6:11
ሲሳየነ ዘለለ ዕለትነ ሀበነ ዮም።
Give us today our daily bread.
我們日用的飲食，今日賜給我們。
6:12
ኅድግ ለነ አበሳነ ወጌጋየነ ከመ ንሕነኒ ንኅድግ ለዘአበሰ ለነ።
Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
免我們的債， 如同我們免了人的債。
6:13
ኢታብአነ እግዚኦ ውስተ መንሱት አላ አድኅነነ ወባልሐነ እምኵሉ እኩይ እስመ ዚኣከ ይእቲ መንግሥት ኀይል ወስብሐት ለዓለመ ዓለም አሜን።
Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.’
不叫我們遇見試探； 救我們脫離凶惡 。 因為國度、權柄、榮耀，全是你的， 直到永遠。阿們 ！
6:14
እስመ ለእመ ኀደግሙ ለሰብእ አበሳሆሙ የኀድግ ለክሙኒ አቡክሙ ሰማያዊ አበሳክሙ።
“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
「你們饒恕人的過犯，你們的天父也必饒恕你們的過犯；
6:15
ወእመሰ ኢኀደግሙ ለሰብእ አበሳሆሙ አቡክሙኒ ሰማያዊ ኢየኀድግ አበሳክሙ።
But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
你們不饒恕人的過犯，你們的天父也必不饒恕你們的過犯。」
6:16
ወሶበሂ ትጸውሙ ኢትኩኑ ከመ መደልዋን እስመ እሙንቱ ይትመጸለዉ ወይቈጽሩ ገጾሙ ወያማስኑ ከመ ያእምር ሰብእ ከመ ጾሙ አማን እብለክሙ ነሥኡ ዕሴቶሙ።
“Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
「你們禁食的時候，不可像那假冒為善的人，臉上帶着愁容；因為他們把臉弄得難看，故意叫人看出他們是禁食。我實在告訴你們，他們已經得了他們的賞賜。
6:17
ወአንትሙሰ ሶበ ትጸውሙ ቅብዑ ርእሰክሙ ወኀጽቡ ገጸክሙ።
But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
你禁食的時候，要梳頭洗臉，
6:18
ከመ ኢያእምር ሰብእ ከመ ጾምክሙ ዘእንበለ አቡክሙ ዘበሰማያት ዘበኅቡእ ወአቡክሙ ዘይሬእየክሙ በኅቡእ የዐስየክሙ ክሡተ።
so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
不叫人看出你禁食來，只叫你暗中的父看見；你父在暗中察看，必然報答你。」
6:19
ኢትዝግቡ ለክሙ መዝገበ ዘበምድር ኀበ ይበሊ ወይማስን ወኀበ ፃፄ ወቍንቍኔ ያማስኖ ወኀበ ሰረቅት ይከርዩ ወይሰርቅዎ።
“Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal;
「不要為自己積攢財寶在地上；地上有蟲子咬，能銹壞，也有賊挖窟窿來偷。
6:20
ዝግቡ ለክሙ መዝገበ ዘበሰማያት ኀበ ኢይበሊ ወኢይማስን ወኀበ ኢያማስኖ ፃፄ ወቍንቍኔ ወኀበ ሰረቅት ኢይከርዩ ወኢይሰርቅዎ።
but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal;
只要積攢財寶在天上；天上沒有蟲子咬，不能銹壞，也沒有賊挖窟窿來偷。
6:21
እስመ ኀበ ሀሎ መዝገብክሙ ህየ ይሄሉ ልብክሙኒ።
for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
因為你的財寶在哪裏，你的心也在那裏。」
6:22
ማኅቶቱ ለሥጋከ ዐይንከ ውእቱ እምከመ ዐይንከ ብሩህ ወስፉሕ ውእቱ ኵሉ ሥጋከ ብሩሀ ይከውን።
“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light.
「眼睛就是身上的燈。你的眼睛若瞭亮，全身就光明；
6:23
ወእመሰ ዐይንከ ሐማሚ ኵሉ ሥጋከ ጽልመተ ይከውን ወሶበ ብርሃን ዘላዕሌከ ጽልመት ውእቱ ጽልመትከ እፎ ብርሃነ ይከውነከ።
But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
你的眼睛若昏花，全身就黑暗。你裏頭的光若黑暗了，那黑暗是何等大呢！」
6:24
ኢይክል አሐዱ ገብር ተቀንዮ ለክልኤ አጋዕዝት ወእመ አኮሰ አሐደ ይጸልእ ወካልኦ ያፈቅር ወእመአኮ ለአሐዱ ይትኤዘዝ ወለካልኡ ኢይትኤዘዝ ኢትክሉኬ ተቀንዮ ለእግዚአብሔር ወለንዋይ።
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon.
「一個人不能事奉兩個主；不是惡這個、愛那個，就是重這個、輕那個。你們不能又事奉上帝，又事奉瑪門 。」
6:25
ወበእንተዝ እብለክሙ ኢትተክዙ ለነፍስክሙ ዘትበልዑ ወዘትሰትዩ ወኢ ለሥጋክሙ ዘትለብሱ አኮሁ ነፍስ ተዐፅብ እምሲሲት ወሥጋ የዐፅብ እምዐራዝ።
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
「所以我告訴你們，不要為生命憂慮吃甚麼，喝甚麼；為身體憂慮穿甚麼。生命不勝於飲食嗎？身體不勝於衣裳嗎？
6:26
ነጽሩ አዕዋፈ ሰማይ እለ ኢይዘርዑ ወኢየአርሩ ወኢያስተጋብኡ ውስተ አብያት ወአቡክሙ ሰማያዊ ይሴስዮሙ አኮኑ አንትሙ ፈድፋደ ትኄይስዎሙ።
See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
你們看那天上的飛鳥，也不種，也不收，也不積蓄在倉裏，你們的天父尚且養活牠。你們不比飛鳥貴重得多嗎？
6:27
መኑ እምኔክሙ በተክዞ ዘይክል ወስኮ አሐደ እመተ በዲበ ቆሙ ወበእንተ አራዝኒ ምንተኑ ትኄልዩ።
“Which of you by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?
你們哪一個能用思慮使壽數多加一刻呢 ？
6:28
ርእዩ ጽጌያተ ገዳም ዘከመ ይልህቁ እንዘ ኢይጻምዉ ወኢይፈትሉ።
Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin,
何必為衣裳憂慮呢？你想野地裏的百合花怎麼長起來；它也不勞苦，也不紡線。
6:29
እብለክሙ ከመ ሰሎሞን ጥቀ በኵሉ ክብሩ ኢለብሰ ከመ አሐዱ እምእሉ።
yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.
然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門極榮華的時候，他所穿戴的，還不如這花一朵呢！
6:30
ወናሁ ሣዕረ ገዳም ዘዮም ሀሎ ወጌሠመ ውስተ እቶነ እሳት ይትወደይ ወእግዚአብሔር ዘከመዝ ያለብሶ እፎ እንከ ፈድፋደ ኪያክሙ ኦ ሕጹጻነ ሃይማኖት።
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
你們這小信的人哪！野地裏的草今天還在，明天就丟在爐裏，上帝還給它這樣的妝飾，何況你們呢！
6:31
ኢትተክዙኬ እንከ እንዘ ትብሉ ምንተ ንበልዕ ወምንተ ንሰቲ ወምንተ ንትከደን።
“Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’
所以，不要憂慮說，吃甚麼？喝甚麼？穿甚麼？
6:32
እስመ ዘንተሰ ኵሎ አሕዛበ ዓለም ዘአፍኣ የኀሥሥዎ ወለክሙሰ የአምር አቡክሙ ሰማያዊ ዘከመ ትፈቅዱ ዘንተ ኵሎ።
For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
這都是外邦人所求的。你們需用的這一切東西，你們的天父是知道的。
6:33
አንትሙሰ ኅሡ መቅድመ መንግሥቶ ወጽድቆ ወዝንቱሰ ኵሉ ይትዌሰከክሙ።
But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
你們要先求他的國和他的義，這些東西都要加給你們了。
6:34
ኢትተክዙኬ ወኢተበሉ ለጌሠም እስመ ጌሠምሰ ትኄሊ ለርእሳ የአክላ ለዕለት እከያ ወስራሓ።
Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
所以，不要為明天憂慮，因為明天自有明天的憂慮；一天的難處一天當就夠了。」
