20:1

ἐὰν δὲ ἐξέλθῃς εἰς πόλεμον ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου καὶ ἴδῃς ἵππον καὶ ἀναβάτην καὶ λαὸν πλείονά σου οὐ φοβηθήσῃ ἀπ’ αὐτῶν ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός σου μετὰ σοῦ ὁ ἀναβιβάσας σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου

But when you go out to war against your enemies and see horse and rider and a people more numerous than you, you shall not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

你出去與仇敵爭戰的時候，若看見馬匹、騎兵和比你多的人民，不要怕他們，因為那領你從埃及地上來的主你的神與你同在。

20:2

καὶ ἔσται ὅταν ἐγγίσῃς τῷ πολέμῳ καὶ προσεγγίσας ὁ ἱερεὺς λαλήσει τῷ λαῷ

And it shall be, when you draw near to the battle, that the priest shall come near and speak to the people,

你們臨近爭戰的時候，祭司要上前向百姓說話，

20:3

καὶ ἐρεῖ πρὸς αὐτούς ἄκουε Ισραηλ ὑμεῖς προσπορεύεσθε σήμερον εἰς πόλεμον ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ὑμῶν μὴ ἐκλυέσθω ἡ καρδία ὑμῶν μὴ φοβεῖσθε μηδὲ θραύεσθε μηδὲ ἐκκλίνητε ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν

and shall say to them: Hear, O Israel, you are drawing near today to war against your enemies; do not let your heart faint, do not fear nor be shattered nor turn aside from before them;

對他們說：以色列啊，你要聽！你們今日將要與仇敵爭戰，不要心中發昏，不要懼怕，不要驚慌，也不要在他們面前退縮；

20:4

ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν ὁ προπορευόμενος μεθ’ ὑμῶν συνεκπολεμῆσαι ὑμῖν τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ὑμῶν διασῶσαι ὑμᾶς

for the Lord your God goes before you with you, to fight together with you against your enemies, to save you.

因為主你們的神與你們同去，要為你們一同攻打你們的仇敵，拯救你們。

20:5

καὶ λαλήσουσιν οἱ γραμματεῖς πρὸς τὸν λαὸν λέγοντες τίς ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὁ οἰκοδομήσας οἰκίαν καινὴν καὶ οὐκ ἐνεκαίνισεν αὐτήν πορευέσθω καὶ ἀποστραφήτω εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ μὴ ἀποθάνῃ ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἕτερος ἐγκαινιεῖ αὐτήν

And the officers shall speak to the people, saying: Who is the man who has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the war and another man dedicate it.

官長也要對百姓說：誰建造了新房屋，還沒有行奉獻之禮呢？他可以回自己的家去，免得他死在陣上，別人去行奉獻之禮。

20:6

καὶ τίς ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὅστις ἐφύτευσεν ἀμπελῶνα καὶ οὐκ εὐφράνθη ἐξ αὐτοῦ πορευέσθω καὶ ἀποστραφήτω εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ μὴ ἀποθάνῃ ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἕτερος εὐφρανθήσεται ἐξ αὐτοῦ

And who is the man who has planted a vineyard and has not rejoiced from it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the war and another man rejoice from it.

誰栽種了葡萄園，還沒有因它歡樂呢？他可以回自己的家去，免得他死在陣上，別人因它歡樂。

20:7

καὶ τίς ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὅστις μεμνήστευται γυναῖκα καὶ οὐκ ἔλαβεν αὐτήν πορευέσθω καὶ ἀποστραφήτω εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ μὴ ἀποθάνῃ ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἕτερος λήμψεται αὐτήν

And who is the man who has betrothed a woman and has not taken her? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the war and another man take her.

誰聘定了妻，還沒有娶她呢？他可以回自己的家去，免得他死在陣上，別人娶了她。

20:8

καὶ προσθήσουσιν οἱ γραμματεῖς λαλῆσαι πρὸς τὸν λαὸν καὶ ἐροῦσιν τίς ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὁ φοβούμενος καὶ δειλὸς τῇ καρδίᾳ πορευέσθω καὶ ἀποστραφήτω εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ ἵνα μὴ δειλιάνῃ τὴν καρδίαν τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ ὥσπερ ἡ αὐτοῦ

And the officers shall speak further to the people and shall say: Who is the man who is afraid and faint in heart? Let him go and return to his house, so that he may not make the heart of his brother fainthearted like his own.

官長要再對百姓說：誰懼怕、心裡膽怯呢？他可以回自己的家去，免得他弟兄的心像他的心一樣膽怯。

20:9

καὶ ἔσται ὅταν παύσωνται οἱ γραμματεῖς λαλοῦντες πρὸς τὸν λαόν καὶ καταστήσουσιν ἄρχοντας τῆς στρατιᾶς προηγουμένους τοῦ λαοῦ

And it shall be, when the officers have finished speaking to the people, that they shall appoint commanders of the army to lead the people.

官長對百姓說完了話，就要設立軍長率領百姓。
