📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

All the commandments which I command you today you shall take care to do, that you may live and be multiplied, and enter in and inherit the land which the Lord your God swore to your fathers.
And you shall remember all the way by which the Lord your God led you in the wilderness, that he might afflict you and test you, and that what was in your heart might be discerned, whether you would keep his commandments or not.
And he afflicted you and made you hungry and fed you the manna, which your fathers had not known, that he might declare to you that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God shall man live.
For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good and vast land, where there are torrents of waters and springs of deeps issuing forth through the plains and through the mountains;
a land in which you shall eat your bread not in poverty, and you shall lack nothing upon it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose mountains you shall mine copper.
Take heed to yourself, lest you forget the Lord your God, so as not to keep his commandments and his judgments and his ordinances, which I command you today;
and your oxen and your sheep have been multiplied to you, and silver and gold have been multiplied to you, and all that you have has been multiplied to you,
who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, where there was a biting serpent and scorpion and thirst, where there was no water; who brought out for you a spring of water from the flinty rock;
And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you strength to gain power, and that he may establish his covenant which the Lord swore to your fathers, as at this day.
And it shall be, if you utterly forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and bow down to them, I solemnly call to witness against you today both the heaven and the earth, that you shall surely perish.
Just as the remaining nations which the Lord is destroying before your face, so shall you perish, because you did not listen to the voice of the Lord your God.
