4:1

ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ελιφας ὁ Θαιμανίτης λέγει

Then Eliphaz the Thaimanite answered and says:

提幔人以利法回答說：

4:2

μὴ πολλάκις σοι λελάληται ἐν κόπῳ ἰσχὺν δὲ ῥημάτων σου τίς ὑποίσει

"Has it not been spoken to you many times in trouble? But who will bear the force of your words?

在患難中豈不是已經對你說過多次了嗎？但你言語的力量，誰能承受呢？

4:3

εἰ γὰρ σὺ ἐνουθέτησας πολλοὺς καὶ χεῖρας ἀσθενοῦς παρεκάλεσας

For you have admonished many, and have encouraged the hands of the weak;

你曾勸誡許多人，也曾鼓勵軟弱之人的手；

4:4

ἀσθενοῦντάς τε ἐξανέστησας ῥήμασιν γόνασίν τε ἀδυνατοῦσιν θάρσος περιέθηκας

you have raised up the weak with words, and have put courage around failing knees.

你用言語扶起軟弱的人，又使無力的膝蓋得著勇氣。

4:5

νῦν δὲ ἥκει ἐπὶ σὲ πόνος καὶ ἥψατό σου σὺ δὲ ἐσπούδασας

But now trouble has come upon you and has touched you, and you are in haste.

如今勞苦臨到你，觸著了你，你就急躁了。

4:6

πότερον οὐχ ὁ φόβος σού ἐστιν ἐν ἀφροσύνῃ καὶ ἡ ἐλπίς σου καὶ ἡ ἀκακία τῆς ὁδοῦ σου

Is not your fear founded in folly, and your hope, and the guilelessness of your way?

你的敬畏豈不是出於愚妄嗎？你的指望和你道路的無惡，不也是如此嗎？

4:7

μνήσθητι οὖν τίς καθαρὸς ὢν ἀπώλετο ἢ πότε ἀληθινοὶ ὁλόρριζοι ἀπώλοντο

Remember then: who ever perished being pure? Or when were the true ones destroyed root and all?

你且追想：有誰是清潔而滅亡的？真誠的人幾時被連根拔除？

4:8

καθ’ ὃν τρόπον εἶδον τοὺς ἀροτριῶντας τὰ ἄτοπα οἱ δὲ σπείροντες αὐτὰ ὀδύνας θεριοῦσιν ἑαυτοῖς

As I have seen, those who plow absurdities, and those who sow them, reap pains for themselves.

按我所見，那些耕種荒謬之事的，和那些撒種的，都要為自己收割痛苦。

4:9

ἀπὸ προστάγματος κυρίου ἀπολοῦνται ἀπὸ δὲ πνεύματος ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ ἀφανισθήσονται

By the command of the Lord they will perish, and by the breath of his wrath they will be wiped away.

他們因主的命令滅亡，因祂忿怒的氣息消滅。
