32:1

ἡσύχασαν δὲ καὶ οἱ τρεῖς φίλοι αὐτοῦ ἔτι ἀντειπεῖν Ιωβ ἦν γὰρ Ιωβ δίκαιος ἐναντίον αὐτῶν

And his three friends also fell silent, no longer contradicting Job, for Job was righteous before them.

他的三個朋友也靜默了，不再回答約伯，因為約伯在他們面前是義的。

32:2

ὠργίσθη δὲ Ελιους ὁ τοῦ Βαραχιηλ ὁ Βουζίτης ἐκ τῆς συγγενείας Ραμ τῆς Αυσίτιδος χώρας ὠργίσθη δὲ τῷ Ιωβ σφόδρα διότι ἀπέφηνεν ἑαυτὸν δίκαιον ἐναντίον κυρίου

Then Elious son of Barachiel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram of the land of Ausitis, was angry; and he was very angry with Job, because he declared himself righteous before the Lord.

巴拉基業的兒子、布西人以利烏就發怒了，他出於阿烏西提斯地蘭的親族。他向約伯大大發怒，因為約伯在主面前宣稱自己為義。

32:3

καὶ κατὰ τῶν τριῶν δὲ φίλων ὠργίσθη σφόδρα διότι οὐκ ἠδυνήθησαν ἀποκριθῆναι ἀντίθετα Ιωβ καὶ ἔθεντο αὐτὸν εἶναι ἀσεβῆ

And he was very angry with the three friends, because they were unable to answer Job with counter-arguments, yet they set him down as ungodly.

他也向那三個朋友大大發怒，因為他們不能用反論回答約伯，卻定他為不敬虔的人。

32:4

Ελιους δὲ ὑπέμεινεν δοῦναι ἀπόκρισιν Ιωβ ὅτι πρεσβύτεροι αὐτοῦ εἰσιν ἡμέραις

But Elious waited to give an answer to Job, because they were older than he in days.

以利烏等候著才回答約伯，因為他們的年日比他大。

32:5

καὶ εἶδεν Ελιους ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἀπόκρισις ἐν στόματι τῶν τριῶν ἀνδρῶν καὶ ἐθυμώθη ὀργὴ αὐτοῦ

And Elious saw that there was no answer in the mouth of the three men, and his anger was kindled.

以利烏見這三個人口中沒有回答，他的怒氣就發作了。

32:6

ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ελιους ὁ τοῦ Βαραχιηλ ὁ Βουζίτης εἶπεν νεώτερος μέν εἰμι τῷ χρόνῳ ὑμεῖς δέ ἐστε πρεσβύτεροι διὸ ἡσύχασα φοβηθεὶς τοῦ ὑμῖν ἀναγγεῖλαι τὴν ἐμαυτοῦ ἐπιστήμην

Then Elious son of Barachiel the Buzite answered and said: I am younger in time, and you are older; therefore I kept silent, fearing to declare to you my own knowledge.

巴拉基業的兒子、布西人以利烏就接著說：我的年歲較輕，你們年紀較長，所以我靜默不言，怕向你們陳明我自己的知識。

32:7

εἶπα δὲ ὅτι ὁ χρόνος ἐστὶν ὁ λαλῶν ἐν πολλοῖς δὲ ἔτεσιν οἴδασιν σοφίαν

And I said, Time is what speaks, and in many years men know wisdom.

我心裡說：說話的應是年歲，多年的人才曉得智慧。

32:8

ἀλλὰ πνεῦμά ἐστιν ἐν βροτοῖς πνοὴ δὲ παντοκράτορός ἐστιν ἡ διδάσκουσα

But there is a spirit in mortals, and it is the breath of the Almighty that teaches.

但在必死的人裡面有靈，是全能者的氣息在教導人。

32:9

οὐχ οἱ πολυχρόνιοί εἰσιν σοφοί οὐδ’ οἱ γέροντες οἴδασιν κρίμα

It is not the long-lived who are wise, nor do the aged know judgement.

年日久的不都是有智慧的，老年人也不都曉得公平。
