ἐπικάλεσαι δέ εἴ τίς σοι ὑπακούσεται ἢ εἴ τινα ἀγγέλων ἁγίων ὄψῃ
"Call out then, if anyone will answer you, or if you will see any of the holy angels.
你且呼求,看有誰應你,或看你能見到哪一位聖天使。
5:2▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ γὰρ ἄφρονα ἀναιρεῖ ὀργή πεπλανημένον δὲ θανατοῖ ζῆλος
For anger destroys the fool, and jealousy kills the one who has gone astray.
忿怒害死愚妄人,嫉妒殺死被迷惑的人。
5:3▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐγὼ δὲ ἑώρακα ἄφρονας ῥίζαν βάλλοντας ἀλλ’ εὐθέως ἐβρώθη αὐτῶν ἡ δίαιτα
I myself have seen fools taking root, but immediately their dwelling was devoured.
我曾見愚妄人紮下根來,但他們的居所立刻就被吞吃了。

πόρρω γένοιντο οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἀπὸ σωτηρίας κολαβρισθείησαν δὲ ἐπὶ θύραις ἡσσόνων καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὁ ἐξαιρούμενος
Let their sons be far from deliverance; let them be mocked at the doors of lesser men, and let there be no one to rescue them.
願他們的兒子遠離拯救;願他們在比自己微小之人的門口被戲弄,無人搭救。
5:5▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἃ γὰρ ἐκεῖνοι συνήγαγον δίκαιοι ἔδονται αὐτοὶ δὲ ἐκ κακῶν οὐκ ἐξαίρετοι ἔσονται ἐκσιφωνισθείη αὐτῶν ἡ ἰσχύς
For what those men gathered, the righteous shall eat; but they themselves shall not be rescued out of evils. Let their strength be drained away.
他們所積聚的,義人要吃;他們自己卻不得脫離禍患。願他們的力量被吸乾。
5:6▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
οὐ γὰρ μὴ ἐξέλθῃ ἐκ τῆς γῆς κόπος οὐδὲ ἐξ ὀρέων ἀναβλαστήσει πόνος
For trouble does not come forth from the ground, nor does hardship spring up out of the mountains.
患難並非從地裡出來,勞苦也不是從山中發生。
5:7▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀλλὰ ἄνθρωπος γεννᾶται κόπῳ νεοσσοὶ δὲ γυπὸς τὰ ὑψηλὰ πέτονται
But man is born to trouble, and the vulture's young fly to the heights.
人生來就是為著勞苦,正如禿鷲的雛鳥向高處飛翔。
5:8▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
οὐ μὴν δὲ ἀλλὰ ἐγὼ δεηθήσομαι κυρίου κύριον δὲ τὸν πάντων δεσπότην ἐπικαλέσομαι
Nevertheless I myself will make supplication to the Lord, and I will call upon the Lord, the Master of all,
至於我,我卻要向主懇求,要呼求那萬有的主宰——主。
5:9▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τὸν ποιοῦντα μεγάλα καὶ ἀνεξιχνίαστα ἔνδοξά τε καὶ ἐξαίσια ὧν οὐκ ἔστιν ἀριθμός
who does great and unsearchable things, glorious and extraordinary things without number;
祂行大事、不可測度的事,又行榮耀非常的事,多得無法計數;
5:10▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τὸν διδόντα ὑετὸν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἀποστέλλοντα ὕδωρ ἐπὶ τὴν ὑπ’ οὐρανόν
who gives rain upon the earth and sends water upon what is under heaven;
祂降雨在地上,降水在天下;
5:11▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τὸν ποιοῦντα ταπεινοὺς εἰς ὕψος καὶ ἀπολωλότας ἐξεγείροντα
who sets the lowly on high and raises up those who have perished;
祂使卑微的升高,使喪亡的興起;
5:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
διαλλάσσοντα βουλὰς πανούργων καὶ οὐ μὴ ποιήσουσιν αἱ χεῖρες αὐτῶν ἀληθές
who frustrates the plans of the crafty, so that their hands shall accomplish nothing true;
祂破壞狡猾人的計謀,使他們的手不能成就真實的事;
5:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ὁ καταλαμβάνων σοφοὺς ἐν τῇ φρονήσει βουλὴν δὲ πολυπλόκων ἐξέστησεν
who catches the wise in their own shrewdness, and has confounded the counsel of the devious.
祂在智慧人的精明中捉住他們,又使詭詐多端之人的計謀錯亂。
5:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἡμέρας συναντήσεται αὐτοῖς σκότος τὸ δὲ μεσημβρινὸν ψηλαφήσαισαν ἴσα νυκτί
By day darkness shall meet them, and at noon let them grope as in the night.
白晝黑暗必臨到他們,正午他們必摸索,如同黑夜。
5:15▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀπόλοιντο δὲ ἐν πολέμῳ ἀδύνατος δὲ ἐξέλθοι ἐκ χειρὸς δυνάστου
Let them perish in war, and let the powerless escape from the hand of the mighty.
願他們在戰爭中滅亡;願無力的人脫離強權者的手。
5:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἴη δὲ ἀδυνάτῳ ἐλπίς ἀδίκου δὲ στόμα ἐμφραχθείη
Let there be hope for the powerless, and let the mouth of the unjust be stopped.
願無力的人有指望,願不義之人的口被塞住。
5:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
μακάριος δὲ ἄνθρωπος ὃν ἤλεγξεν ὁ κύριος νουθέτημα δὲ παντοκράτορος μὴ ἀπαναίνου
Blessed is the man whom the Lord has reproved; do not reject the admonition of the Almighty.
被主責備的人有福了;全能者的勸誡,你不可拒絕。
5:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
αὐτὸς γὰρ ἀλγεῖν ποιεῖ καὶ πάλιν ἀποκαθίστησιν ἔπαισεν καὶ αἱ χεῖρες αὐτοῦ ἰάσαντο
For he makes one suffer pain, and again restores; he struck, and his hands healed.
因為祂使人疼痛,又使人復原;祂擊打,祂的手卻醫治。
5:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἑξάκις ἐξ ἀναγκῶν σε ἐξελεῖται ἐν δὲ τῷ ἑβδόμῳ οὐ μὴ ἅψηταί σου κακόν
Six times he will deliver you out of distresses, and in the seventh no evil shall touch you.
祂必六次救你脫離急難;到第七次,災禍必不觸著你。
5:20▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐν λιμῷ ῥύσεταί σε ἐκ θανάτου ἐν πολέμῳ δὲ ἐκ χειρὸς σιδήρου λύσει σε
In famine he will rescue you from death, and in war he will free you from the hand of the sword.
在饑荒中,祂必救你脫離死亡;在戰爭中,祂必救你脫離刀劍的手。
5:21▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀπὸ μάστιγος γλώσσης σε κρύψει καὶ οὐ μὴ φοβηθῇς ἀπὸ κακῶν ἐρχομένων
He will hide you from the scourge of the tongue, and you shall not be afraid of evils that come.
祂必把你藏起,脫離舌頭的鞭撻;災禍來到,你也不懼怕。
5:22▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀδίκων καὶ ἀνόμων καταγελάσῃ ἀπὸ δὲ θηρίων ἀγρίων οὐ μὴ φοβηθῇς
You will laugh at the unjust and the lawless, and you shall not fear wild beasts.
你必譏笑不義和不法的人,也不懼怕野獸。
5:23▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
θῆρες γὰρ ἄγριοι εἰρηνεύσουσίν σοι
For the wild beasts will be at peace with you.
因為野獸必與你和睦。
5:24▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἶτα γνώσῃ ὅτι εἰρηνεύσει σου ὁ οἶκος ἡ δὲ δίαιτα τῆς σκηνῆς σου οὐ μὴ ἁμάρτῃ
Then you will know that your house shall be at peace, and the dwelling of your tent shall not fail.
那時你就知道你的家必享平安,你帳棚的居所必不失落。
5:25▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
γνώσῃ δὲ ὅτι πολὺ τὸ σπέρμα σου τὰ δὲ τέκνα σου ἔσται ὥσπερ τὸ παμβότανον τοῦ ἀγροῦ
And you will know that your seed is many, and your children shall be like the herbage of the field.
你必知道你的後裔眾多,你的兒女必如田間的青草。
5:26▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐλεύσῃ δὲ ἐν τάφῳ ὥσπερ σῖτος ὥριμος κατὰ καιρὸν θεριζόμενος ἢ ὥσπερ θιμωνιὰ ἅλωνος καθ’ ὥραν συγκομισθεῖσα
And you will come to the grave like ripe grain reaped in its season, or like a heap on the threshing floor gathered in at its hour.
你必歸入墳墓,如同成熟的麥子按時被收割,又如禾場上的禾堆按時被收聚。
5:27▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἰδοὺ ταῦτα οὕτως ἐξιχνιάσαμεν ταῦτά ἐστιν ἃ ἀκηκόαμεν σὺ δὲ γνῶθι σεαυτῷ εἴ τι ἔπραξας
Behold, these things we have searched out thus; these are the things we have heard. But know for yourself whether you have done anything."
看哪,這些事我們已經這樣查考過了;這就是我們所聽見的。你自己要知道,你作過甚麼。
