約伯記 第 11 章

11:1
וַ֭יַּעַן צֹפַ֥ר הַֽנַּעֲמָתִ֗י וַיֹּאמַֽר׃
拿瑪人瑣法回答說：
Then Zophar, the Naamathite, answered,
11:2
הֲרֹ֣ב דְּ֭בָרִים לֹ֣א יֵעָנֶ֑ה וְאִם־אִ֖ישׁ שְׂפָתַ֣יִם יִצְדָּֽק׃
這許多的言語豈不該回答嗎？ 多嘴多舌的人豈可稱為義嗎？
“Shouldn’t the multitude of words be answered? Should a man full of talk be justified?
11:3
בַּ֭דֶּיךָ מְתִ֣ים יַחֲרִ֑ישׁוּ וַ֝תִּלְעַ֗ג וְאֵ֣ין מַכְלִֽם׃
你誇大的話豈能使人不作聲嗎？ 你戲笑的時候豈沒有人叫你害羞嗎？
Should your boastings make men hold their peace? When you mock, will no man make you ashamed?
11:4
וַ֭תֹּאמֶר זַ֣ךְ לִקְחִ֑י וּ֝בַ֗ר הָיִ֥יתִי בְעֵינֶֽיךָ׃
你說：我的道理純全； 我在你眼前潔淨。
For you say, ‘My doctrine is pure. I am clean in your eyes.’
11:5
וְֽאוּלָ֗ם מִֽי־יִתֵּ֣ן אֱל֣וֹהַּ דַּבֵּ֑ר וְיִפְתַּ֖ח שְׂפָתָ֣יו עִמָּֽךְ׃
惟願上帝說話； 願他開口攻擊你，
But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against you,
11:6
וְיַגֶּד־לְךָ֨׀ תַּ֥עֲלֻמ֣וֹת חׇכְמָה֮ כִּֽי־כִפְלַ֢יִם לְֽת֫וּשִׁיָּ֥ה וְדַ֡ע כִּֽי־יַשֶּׁ֥ה לְךָ֥ אֱ֝ל֗וֹהַּ מֵעֲוֺנֶֽךָ׃
並將智慧的奧祕指示你； 他有諸般的智識。 所以當知道上帝追討你 比你罪孽該得的還少。
that he would show you the secrets of wisdom! For true wisdom has two sides. Know therefore that God exacts of you less than your iniquity deserves.
11:7
הַחֵ֣קֶר אֱל֣וֹהַּ תִּמְצָ֑א אִ֤ם עַד־תַּכְלִ֖ית שַׁדַּ֣י תִּמְצָֽא׃
你考察就能測透上帝嗎？ 你豈能盡情測透全能者嗎？
“Can you fathom the mystery of God? Or can you probe the limits of the Almighty?
11:8
גׇּבְהֵ֣י שָׁ֭מַיִם מַה־תִּפְעָ֑ל עֲמֻקָּ֥ה מִ֝שְּׁא֗וֹל מַה־תֵּדָֽע׃
他的智慧高於天，你還能做甚麼？ 深於陰間，你還能知道甚麼？
They are high as heaven. What can you do? They are deeper than Sheol. What can you know?
11:9
אֲרֻכָּ֣ה מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִדָּ֑הּ וּ֝רְחָבָ֗ה מִנִּי־יָֽם׃
其量比地長， 比海寬。
Its measure is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
11:10
אִם־יַחֲלֹ֥ף וְיַסְגִּ֑יר וְ֝יַקְהִ֗יל וּמִ֣י יְשִׁיבֶֽנּוּ׃
他若經過，將人拘禁， 招人受審，誰能阻擋他呢？
If he passes by, or confines, or convenes a court, then who can oppose him?
11:11
כִּי־ה֭וּא יָדַ֣ע מְתֵי־שָׁ֑וְא וַיַּרְא־אָ֝֗וֶן וְלֹ֣א יִתְבּוֹנָֽן׃
他本知道虛妄的人； 人的罪孽，他雖不留意，還是無所不見。
For he knows false men. He sees iniquity also, even though he doesn’t consider it.
11:12
וְאִ֣ישׁ נָ֭בוּב יִלָּבֵ֑ב וְעַ֥יִר פֶּ֝֗רֶא אָדָ֥ם יִוָּלֵֽד׃
空虛的人卻毫無知識； 人生在世好像野驢的駒子。
An empty-headed man becomes wise when a man is born as a wild donkey’s colt.
11:13
אִם־אַ֭תָּה הֲכִינ֣וֹתָ לִבֶּ֑ךָ וּפָרַשְׂתָּ֖ אֵלָ֣יו כַּפֶּֽיךָ׃
你若將心安正， 又向主舉手；
“If you set your heart aright, stretch out your hands toward him.
11:14
אִם־אָ֣וֶן בְּ֭יָדְךָ הַרְחִיקֵ֑הוּ וְאַל־תַּשְׁכֵּ֖ן בְּאֹהָלֶ֣יךָ עַוְלָֽה׃
你手裏若有罪孽， 就當遠遠地除掉， 也不容非義住在你帳棚之中。
If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away. Don’t let unrighteousness dwell in your tents.
11:15
כִּי־אָ֤ז׀ תִּשָּׂ֣א פָנֶ֣יךָ מִמּ֑וּם וְהָיִ֥יתָ מֻ֝צָ֗ק וְלֹ֣א תִירָֽא׃
那時，你必仰起臉來毫無斑點； 你也必堅固，無所懼怕。
Surely then you will lift up your face without spot. Yes, you will be steadfast, and will not fear,
11:16
כִּֽי־אַ֭תָּה עָמָ֣ל תִּשְׁכָּ֑ח כְּמַ֖יִם עָבְר֣וּ תִזְכֹּֽר׃
你必忘記你的苦楚， 就是想起也如流過去的水一樣。
for you will forget your misery. You will remember it like waters that have passed away.
11:17
וּֽ֭מִצׇּהֳרַיִם יָק֣וּם חָ֑לֶד תָּ֝עֻ֗פָה כַּבֹּ֥קֶר תִּהְיֶֽה׃
你在世的日子要比正午更明， 雖有黑暗仍像早晨。
Life will be clearer than the noonday. Though there is darkness, it will be as the morning.
11:18
וּֽ֭בָטַחְתָּ כִּֽי־יֵ֣שׁ תִּקְוָ֑ה וְ֝חָפַרְתָּ֗ לָבֶ֥טַח תִּשְׁכָּֽב׃
你因有指望就必穩固， 也必四圍巡查，坦然安息。
You will be secure, because there is hope. Yes, you will search, and will take your rest in safety.
11:19
וְֽ֭רָבַצְתָּ וְאֵ֣ין מַחֲרִ֑יד וְחִלּ֖וּ פָנֶ֣יךָ רַבִּֽים׃
你躺臥，無人驚嚇， 且有許多人向你求恩。
Also you will lie down, and no one will make you afraid. Yes, many will court your favor.
11:20
וְעֵינֵ֥י רְשָׁעִ֗ים תִּ֫כְלֶ֥ינָה וּ֭מָנוֹס אָבַ֣ד מִנְהֶ֑ם וְ֝תִקְוָתָ֗ם מַֽפַּֽח־נָֽפֶשׁ׃ {פ}
但惡人的眼目必要失明。 他們無路可逃； 他們的指望就是氣絕。
But the eyes of the wicked will fail. They will have no way to flee. Their hope will be the giving up of the spirit.”
