5:1
קְֽרָא־נָ֭א הֲיֵ֣שׁ עוֹנֶ֑ךָּ וְאֶל־מִ֖י מִקְּדֹשִׁ֣ים תִּפְנֶֽה׃
你且呼求,有誰答應你? 諸聖者之中,你轉向哪一位呢?
“Call now; is there any who will answer you? To which of the holy ones will you turn?
5:2
כִּֽי־לֶ֭אֱוִיל יַהֲרׇג־כָּ֑עַשׂ וּ֝פֹתֶ֗ה תָּמִ֥ית קִנְאָֽה׃
忿怒害死愚妄人; 嫉妒殺死癡迷人。
For resentment kills the foolish man, and jealousy kills the simple.
5:3
אֲֽנִי־רָ֭אִיתִי אֱוִ֣יל מַשְׁרִ֑ישׁ וָאֶקּ֖וֹב נָוֵ֣הוּ פִתְאֹֽם׃
我曾見愚妄人扎下根, 但我忽然咒詛他的住處。
I have seen the foolish taking root, but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
5:4
יִרְחֲק֣וּ בָנָ֣יו מִיֶּ֑שַׁע וְיִֽדַּכְּא֥וּ בַ֝שַּׁ֗עַר וְאֵ֣ין מַצִּֽיל׃
他的兒女遠離穩妥的地步, 在城門口被壓,並無人搭救。
His children are far from safety. They are crushed in the gate. Neither is there any to deliver them,
5:5
אֲשֶׁ֤ר קְצִיר֨וֹ׀ רָ֘עֵ֤ב יֹאכֵ֗ל וְאֶֽל־מִצִּנִּ֥ים יִקָּחֵ֑הוּ וְשָׁאַ֖ף צַמִּ֣ים חֵילָֽם׃
他的莊稼有飢餓的人吃盡了, 就是在荊棘裏的也搶去了; 他的財寶有網羅張口吞滅了。
whose harvest the hungry eat up, and take it even out of the thorns. The snare gapes for their substance.
5:6
כִּ֤י׀ לֹא־יֵצֵ֣א מֵעָפָ֣ר אָ֑וֶן וּ֝מֵאֲדָמָ֗ה לֹא־יִצְמַ֥ח עָמָֽל׃
禍患原不是從土中出來; 患難也不是從地裏發生。
For affliction doesn’t come out of the dust, neither does trouble spring out of the ground;
5:7
כִּֽי־אָ֭דָם לְעָמָ֣ל יוּלָּ֑ד וּבְנֵי־רֶ֝֗שֶׁף יַגְבִּ֥יהוּ עֽוּף׃
人生在世必遇患難, 如同火星飛騰。
but man is born to trouble, as the sparks fly upward.
5:8
אוּלָ֗ם אֲ֭נִי אֶדְרֹ֣שׁ אֶל־אֵ֑ל וְאֶל־אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים אָשִׂ֥ים דִּבְרָתִֽי׃
至於我,我必仰望上帝, 把我的事情託付他。
“But as for me, I would seek God. I would commit my cause to God,
5:9
עֹשֶׂ֣ה גְ֭דֹלוֹת וְאֵ֣ין חֵ֑קֶר נִ֝פְלָא֗וֹת עַד־אֵ֥ין מִסְפָּֽר׃
他行大事不可測度, 行奇事不可勝數:
who does great things that can’t be fathomed, marvelous things without number;
5:10
הַנֹּתֵ֣ן מָ֭טָר עַל־פְּנֵי־אָ֑רֶץ וְשֹׁ֥לֵֽחַ מַ֝֗יִם עַל־פְּנֵ֥י חוּצֽוֹת׃
降雨在地上, 賜水於田裏;
who gives rain on the earth, and sends waters on the fields;
5:11
לָשׂ֣וּם שְׁפָלִ֣ים לְמָר֑וֹם וְ֝קֹדְרִ֗ים שָׂ֣גְבוּ יֶֽשַׁע׃
將卑微的安置在高處, 將哀痛的舉到穩妥之地;
so that he sets up on high those who are low, those who mourn are exalted to safety.
5:12
מֵ֭פֵר מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת עֲרוּמִ֑ים וְֽלֹא־תַעֲשֶׂ֥נָה יְ֝דֵיהֶ֗ם תֻּֽשִׁיָּֽה׃
破壞狡猾人的計謀, 使他們所謀的不得成就。
He frustrates the plans of the crafty, so that their hands can’t perform their enterprise.
5:13
לֹכֵ֣ד חֲכָמִ֣ים בְּעׇרְמָ֑ם וַעֲצַ֖ת נִפְתָּלִ֣ים נִמְהָֽרָה׃
他叫有智慧的中了自己的詭計, 使狡詐人的計謀速速滅亡。
He takes the wise in their own craftiness; the counsel of the cunning is carried headlong.
5:14
יוֹמָ֥ם יְפַגְּשׁוּ־חֹ֑שֶׁךְ וְ֝כַלַּ֗יְלָה יְֽמַשְׁשׁ֥וּ בַֽצׇּהֳרָֽיִם׃
他們白晝遇見黑暗, 午間摸索如在夜間。
They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope at noonday as in the night.
5:15
וַיֹּ֣שַׁע מֵ֭חֶרֶב מִפִּיהֶ֑ם וּמִיַּ֖ד חָזָ֣ק אֶבְיֽוֹן׃
上帝拯救窮乏人 脫離他們口中的刀和強暴人的手。
But he saves from the sword of their mouth, even the needy from the hand of the mighty.
5:16
וַתְּהִ֣י לַדַּ֣ל תִּקְוָ֑ה וְ֝עֹלָ֗תָה קָ֣פְצָה פִּֽיהָ׃
這樣,貧寒的人有指望, 罪孽之輩必塞口無言。
So the poor has hope, and injustice shuts her mouth.
5:17
הִנֵּ֤ה אַשְׁרֵ֣י אֱ֭נוֹשׁ יוֹכִחֶ֣נּוּ אֱל֑וֹהַּ וּמוּסַ֥ר שַׁ֝דַּ֗י אַל־תִּמְאָֽס׃
上帝所懲治的人是有福的! 所以你不可輕看全能者的管教。
“Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects. Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.
5:18
כִּ֤י ה֣וּא יַכְאִ֣יב וְיֶחְבָּ֑שׁ יִ֝מְחַ֗ץ וְיָדָ֥ו תִּרְפֶּֽינָה׃
因為他打破,又纏裹; 他擊傷,用手醫治。
For he wounds and binds up. He injures and his hands make whole.
5:19
בְּשֵׁ֣שׁ צָ֭רוֹת יַצִּילֶ֑ךָּ וּבְשֶׁ֓בַע׀ לֹֽא־יִגַּ֖ע בְּךָ֣ רָֽע׃
你六次遭難,他必救你; 就是七次,災禍也無法害你。
He will deliver you in six troubles; yes, in seven no evil will touch you.
5:20
בְּֽ֭רָעָב פָּדְךָ֣ מִמָּ֑וֶת וּ֝בְמִלְחָמָ֗ה מִ֣ידֵי חָֽרֶב׃
在饑荒中,他必救你脫離死亡; 在爭戰中,他必救你脫離刀劍的權力。
In famine he will redeem you from death; in war, from the power of the sword.
5:21
בְּשׁ֣וֹט לָ֭שׁוֹן תֵּחָבֵ֑א וְֽלֹא־תִירָ֥א מִ֝שֹּׁ֗ד כִּ֣י יָבֽוֹא׃
你必被隱藏,不受口舌之害; 災殃臨到,你也不懼怕。
You will be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, neither will you be afraid of destruction when it comes.
5:22
לְשֹׁ֣ד וּלְכָפָ֣ן תִּשְׂחָ֑ק וּֽמֵחַיַּ֥ת הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ אַל־תִּירָֽא׃
你遇見災害饑饉,就必嬉笑; 地上的野獸,你也不懼怕。
You will laugh at destruction and famine, neither will you be afraid of the animals of the earth.
5:23
כִּ֤י עִם־אַבְנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶ֣ה בְרִיתֶ֑ךָ וְחַיַּ֥ת הַ֝שָּׂדֶ֗ה הׇשְׁלְמָה־לָּֽךְ׃
因為你必與田間的石頭立約; 田裏的野獸也必與你和好。
For you will be allied with the stones of the field. The animals of the field will be at peace with you.
5:24
וְֽ֭יָדַעְתָּ כִּֽי־שָׁל֣וֹם אׇהֳלֶ֑ךָ וּֽפָקַדְתָּ֥ נָ֝וְךָ֗ וְלֹ֣א תֶחֱטָֽא׃
你必知道你帳棚平安, 要查看你的羊圈,一無所失;
You will know that your tent is in peace. You will visit your fold, and will miss nothing.
5:25
וְֽ֭יָדַעְתָּ כִּֽי־רַ֣ב זַרְעֶ֑ךָ וְ֝צֶאֱצָאֶ֗יךָ כְּעֵ֣שֶׂב הָאָֽרֶץ׃
也必知道你的後裔將來發達, 你的子孫像地上的青草。
You will know also that your offspring will be great, your offspring as the grass of the earth.
5:26
תָּב֣וֹא בְכֶ֣לַח אֱלֵי־קָ֑בֶר כַּעֲל֖וֹת גָּדִ֣ישׁ בְּעִתּֽוֹ׃
你必壽高年邁才歸墳墓, 好像禾捆到時收藏。
You will come to your grave in a full age, like a shock of grain comes in its season.
5:27
הִנֵּה־זֹ֖את חֲקַרְנ֥וּהָ כֶּֽן־הִ֑יא שְׁ֝מָעֶ֗נָּה וְאַתָּ֥ה דַֽע־לָֽךְ׃ {פ}
這理,我們已經考察,本是如此。 你須要聽,要知道是與自己有益。
Behold, we have researched it. It is so. Hear it, and know it for your good.”
