約伯記 第 15 章

15:1
וַ֭יַּעַן אֱלִיפַ֥ז הַֽתֵּימָנִ֗י וַיֹּאמַֽר׃
提幔人以利法回答說：
Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered,
15:2
הֶחָכָ֗ם יַעֲנֶ֥ה דַעַת־ר֑וּחַ וִימַלֵּ֖א קָדִ֣ים בִּטְנֽוֹ׃
智慧人豈可用虛空的知識回答， 用東風充滿肚腹呢？
“Should a wise man answer with vain knowledge, and fill himself with the east wind?
15:3
הוֹכֵ֣חַ בְּ֭דָבָר לֹ֣א יִסְכּ֑וֹן וּ֝מִלִּ֗ים לֹא־יוֹעִ֥יל בָּֽם׃
他豈可用無益的話 和無濟於事的言語理論呢？
Should he reason with unprofitable talk, or with speeches with which he can do no good?
15:4
אַף־אַ֭תָּה תָּפֵ֣ר יִרְאָ֑ה וְתִגְרַ֥ע שִׂ֝יחָ֗ה לִפְנֵי־אֵֽל׃
你是廢棄敬畏的意， 在上帝面前阻止敬虔的心。
Yes, you do away with fear, and hinder devotion before God.
15:5
כִּ֤י יְאַלֵּ֣ף עֲוֺנְךָ֣ פִ֑יךָ וְ֝תִבְחַ֗ר לְשׁ֣וֹן עֲרוּמִֽים׃
你的罪孽指教你的口； 你選用詭詐人的舌頭。
For your iniquity teaches your mouth, and you choose the language of the crafty.
15:6
יַרְשִׁיעֲךָ֣ פִ֣יךָ וְלֹא־אָ֑נִי וּ֝שְׂפָתֶ֗יךָ יַעֲנוּ־בָֽךְ׃
你自己的口定你有罪，並非是我； 你自己的嘴見證你的不是。
Your own mouth condemns you, and not I. Yes, your own lips testify against you.
15:7
הֲרִאישׁ֣וֹן אָ֭דָם תִּוָּלֵ֑ד וְלִפְנֵ֖י גְבָע֣וֹת חוֹלָֽלְתָּ׃
你豈是頭一個被生的人嗎？ 你受造在諸山之先嗎？
“Are you the first man who was born? Or were you brought out before the hills?
15:8
הַבְס֣וֹד אֱל֣וֹהַּ תִּשְׁמָ֑ע וְתִגְרַ֖ע אֵלֶ֣יךָ חׇכְמָֽה׃
你曾聽見上帝的密旨嗎？ 你還將智慧獨自得盡嗎？
Have you heard the secret counsel of God? Do you limit wisdom to yourself?
15:9
מַה־יָּ֭דַעְתָּ וְלֹ֣א נֵדָ֑ע תָּ֝בִ֗ין וְֽלֹא־עִמָּ֥נוּ הֽוּא׃
你知道甚麼是我們不知道的呢？ 你明白甚麼是我們不明白的呢？
What do you know that we don’t know? What do you understand which is not in us?
15:10
גַּם־שָׂ֣ב גַּם־יָשִׁ֣ישׁ בָּ֑נוּ כַּבִּ֖יר מֵאָבִ֣יךָ יָמִֽים׃
我們這裏有白髮的和年紀老邁的， 比你父親還老。
With us are both the gray-headed and the very aged men, much older than your father.
15:11
הַמְעַ֣ט מִ֭מְּךָ תַּנְחוּמ֣וֹת אֵ֑ל וְ֝דָבָ֗ר לָאַ֥ט עִמָּֽךְ׃
上帝用溫和的話安慰你， 你以為太小嗎？
Are the consolations of God too small for you, even the word that is gentle toward you?
15:12
מַה־יִּקָּחֲךָ֥ לִבֶּ֑ךָ וּֽמַה־יִּרְזְמ֥וּן עֵינֶֽיךָ׃
你的心為何將你逼去？ 你的眼為何冒出火星，
Why does your heart carry you away? Why do your eyes flash,
15:13
כִּֽי־תָשִׁ֣יב אֶל־אֵ֣ל רוּחֶ֑ךָ וְהֹצֵ֖אתָ מִפִּ֣יךָ מִלִּֽין׃
使你的靈反對上帝， 也任你的口發這言語？
that you turn your spirit against God, and let such words go out of your mouth?
15:14
מָה־אֱנ֥וֹשׁ כִּֽי־יִזְכֶּ֑ה וְכִי־יִ֝צְדַּ֗ק יְל֣וּד אִשָּֽׁה׃
人是甚麼，竟算為潔淨呢？ 婦人所生的是甚麼，竟算為義呢？
What is man, that he should be clean? What is he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?
15:15
הֵ֣ן בִּ֭קְדֹשָׁו לֹ֣א יַאֲמִ֑ין וְ֝שָׁמַ֗יִם לֹא־זַכּ֥וּ בְעֵינָֽיו׃
上帝不信靠他的眾聖者； 在他眼前，天也不潔淨，
Behold, he puts no trust in his holy ones. Yes, the heavens are not clean in his sight;
15:16
אַ֭ף כִּי־נִתְעָ֥ב וְֽנֶאֱלָ֑ח אִישׁ־שֹׁתֶ֖ה כַמַּ֣יִם עַוְלָֽה׃
何況那污穢可憎、 喝罪孽如水的世人呢！
how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks iniquity like water!
15:17
אֲחַוְךָ֥ שְֽׁמַֽע־לִ֑י וְזֶֽה־חָ֝זִ֗יתִי וַאֲסַפֵּֽרָה׃
我指示你，你要聽； 我要述說所看見的，
“I will show you, listen to me; that which I have seen I will declare
15:18
אֲשֶׁר־חֲכָמִ֥ים יַגִּ֑ידוּ וְלֹ֥א כִ֝חֲד֗וּ מֵאֲבוֹתָֽם׃
就是智慧人從列祖所受， 傳說而不隱瞞的。 （
(which wise men have told by their fathers, and have not hidden it;
15:19
לָהֶ֣ם לְ֭בַדָּם נִתְּנָ֣ה הָאָ֑רֶץ וְלֹא־עָ֖בַר זָ֣ר בְּתוֹכָֽם׃
這地惟獨賜給他們， 並沒有外人從他們中間經過。）
to whom alone the land was given, and no stranger passed among them):
15:20
כׇּל־יְמֵ֣י רָ֭שָׁע ה֣וּא מִתְחוֹלֵ֑ל וּמִסְפַּ֥ר שָׁ֝נִ֗ים נִצְפְּנ֥וּ לֶעָרִֽיץ׃
惡人一生之日劬勞痛苦； 強暴人一生的年數也是如此。
the wicked man writhes in pain all his days, even the number of years that are laid up for the oppressor.
15:21
קוֹל־פְּחָדִ֥ים בְּאׇזְנָ֑יו בַּ֝שָּׁל֗וֹם שׁוֹדֵ֥ד יְבוֹאֶֽנּוּ׃
驚嚇的聲音常在他耳中； 在平安時，搶奪的必臨到他那裏。
A sound of terrors is in his ears. In prosperity the destroyer will come on him.
15:22
לֹא־יַאֲמִ֣ין שׁ֭וּב מִנִּי־חֹ֑שֶׁךְ (וצפו) [וְצָפ֖וּי] ה֣וּא אֱלֵי־חָֽרֶב׃
他不信自己能從黑暗中轉回； 他被刀劍等候。
He doesn’t believe that he will return out of darkness. He is waited for by the sword.
15:23
נֹ֘דֵ֤ד ה֣וּא לַלֶּ֣חֶם אַיֵּ֑ה יָדַ֓ע׀ כִּי־נָכ֖וֹן בְּיָד֣וֹ יֽוֹם־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃
他漂流在外求食，說：哪裏有食物呢？ 他知道黑暗的日子在他手邊預備好了。
He wanders abroad for bread, saying, ‘Where is it?’ He knows that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.
15:24
יְֽ֭בַעֲתֻהוּ צַ֣ר וּמְצוּקָ֑ה תִּ֝תְקְפֵ֗הוּ כְּמֶ֤לֶךְ׀ עָתִ֬יד לַכִּידֽוֹר׃
急難困苦叫他害怕， 而且勝了他，好像君王預備上陣一樣。
Distress and anguish make him afraid. They prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.
15:25
כִּֽי־נָטָ֣ה אֶל־אֵ֣ל יָד֑וֹ וְאֶל־שַׁ֝דַּ֗י יִתְגַּבָּֽר׃
他伸手攻擊上帝， 以驕傲攻擊全能者，
Because he has stretched out his hand against God, and behaves himself proudly against the Almighty,
15:26
יָר֣וּץ אֵלָ֣יו בְּצַוָּ֑אר בַּ֝עֲבִ֗י גַּבֵּ֥י מָגִנָּֽיו׃
挺着頸項， 用盾牌的厚凸面向全能者直闖；
he runs at him with a stiff neck, with the thick shields of his bucklers,
15:27
כִּֽי־כִסָּ֣ה פָנָ֣יו בְּחֶלְבּ֑וֹ וַיַּ֖עַשׂ פִּימָ֣ה עֲלֵי־כָֽסֶל׃
是因他的臉蒙上脂油， 腰積成肥肉。
because he has covered his face with his fatness, and gathered fat on his thighs.
15:28
וַיִּשְׁכּ֤וֹן׀ עָ֘רִ֤ים נִכְחָד֗וֹת בָּ֭תִּים לֹא־יֵ֣שְׁבוּ לָ֑מוֹ אֲשֶׁ֖ר הִתְעַתְּד֣וּ לְגַלִּֽים׃
他曾住在荒涼城邑， 無人居住、將成亂堆的房屋。
He has lived in desolate cities, in houses which no one inhabited, which were ready to become heaps.
15:29
לֹֽא־יֶ֭עְשַׁר וְלֹא־יָק֣וּם חֵיל֑וֹ וְלֹא־יִטֶּ֖ה לָאָ֣רֶץ מִנְלָֽם׃
他不得富足，財物不得常存， 產業在地上也不加增。
He will not be rich, neither will his substance continue, neither will their possessions be extended on the earth.
15:30
לֹֽא־יָס֨וּר׀ מִנִּי־חֹ֗שֶׁךְ יֹ֭נַקְתּוֹ תְּיַבֵּ֣שׁ שַׁלְהָ֑בֶת וְ֝יָס֗וּר בְּר֣וּחַ פִּֽיו׃
他不得出離黑暗。 火焰要將他的枝子燒乾； 因上帝口中的氣，他要滅亡 。
He will not depart out of darkness. The flame will dry up his branches. He will go away by the breath of God’s mouth.
15:31
אַל־יַאֲמֵ֣ן בַּשָּׁ֣ו נִתְעָ֑ה כִּי־שָׁ֝֗וְא תִּהְיֶ֥ה תְמוּרָתֽוֹ׃
他不用倚靠虛假欺哄自己， 因虛假必成為他的報應。
Let him not trust in emptiness, deceiving himself, for emptiness will be his reward.
15:32
בְּֽלֹא־י֭וֹמוֹ תִּמָּלֵ֑א וְ֝כִפָּת֗וֹ לֹ֣א רַעֲנָֽנָה׃
他的日期未到之先，這事必成就； 他的枝子不得青綠。
It will be accomplished before his time. His branch will not be green.
15:33
יַחְמֹ֣ס כַּגֶּ֣פֶן בִּסְר֑וֹ וְיַשְׁלֵ֥ךְ כַּ֝זַּ֗יִת נִצָּתֽוֹ׃
他必像葡萄樹的葡萄，未熟而落； 又像橄欖樹的花，一開而謝。
He will shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and will cast off his flower as the olive tree.
15:34
כִּֽי־עֲדַ֣ת חָנֵ֣ף גַּלְמ֑וּד וְ֝אֵ֗שׁ אָכְלָ֥ה אׇהֳלֵי־שֹֽׁחַד׃
原來不敬虔之輩必無生育； 受賄賂之人的帳棚必被火燒。
For the company of the godless will be barren, and fire will consume the tents of bribery.
15:35
הָרֹ֣ה עָ֭מָל וְיָ֣לֹֽד אָ֑וֶן וּ֝בִטְנָ֗ם תָּכִ֥ין מִרְמָֽה׃ {פ}
他們所懷的是毒害，所生的是罪孽； 心裏所預備的是詭詐。
They conceive mischief and produce iniquity. Their heart prepares deceit.”
