約伯記 第 9 章

9:1
וַיַּ֥עַן אִיּ֗וֹב וַיֹּאמַֽר׃
約伯回答說：
Then Job answered,
9:2
אׇ֭מְנָם יָדַ֣עְתִּי כִי־כֵ֑ן וּמַה־יִּצְדַּ֖ק אֱנ֣וֹשׁ עִם־אֵֽל׃
我真知道是這樣； 但人在上帝面前怎能成為義呢？
“Truly I know that it is so, but how can man be just with God?
9:3
אִם־יַ֭חְפֹּץ לָרִ֣יב עִמּ֑וֹ לֹֽא־יַ֝עֲנֶ֗נּוּ אַחַ֥ת מִנִּי־אָֽלֶף׃
若願意與他爭辯， 千中之一也不能回答。
If he is pleased to contend with him, he can’t answer him one time in a thousand.
9:4
חֲכַ֣ם לֵ֭בָב וְאַמִּ֣יץ כֹּ֑חַ מִֽי־הִקְשָׁ֥ה אֵ֝לָ֗יו וַיִּשְׁלָֽם׃
他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。 誰向上帝剛硬而得亨通呢？
God is wise in heart, and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against him and prospered?
9:5
הַמַּעְתִּ֣יק הָ֭רִים וְלֹ֣א יָדָ֑עוּ אֲשֶׁ֖ר הֲפָכָ֣ם בְּאַפּֽוֹ׃
他發怒，把山翻倒挪移， 山並不知覺。
He removes the mountains, and they don’t know it, when he overturns them in his anger.
9:6
הַמַּרְגִּ֣יז אֶ֭רֶץ מִמְּקוֹמָ֑הּ וְ֝עַמּוּדֶ֗יהָ יִתְפַּלָּצֽוּן׃
他使地震動，離其本位， 地的柱子就搖撼。
He shakes the earth out of its place. Its pillars tremble.
9:7
הָאֹמֵ֣ר לַ֭חֶרֶס וְלֹ֣א יִזְרָ֑ח וּבְעַ֖ד כּוֹכָבִ֣ים יַחְתֹּֽם׃
他吩咐日頭不出來，就不出來， 又封閉眾星。
He commands the sun and it doesn’t rise, and seals up the stars.
9:8
נֹטֶ֣ה שָׁמַ֣יִם לְבַדּ֑וֹ וְ֝דוֹרֵ֗ךְ עַל־בָּ֥מֳתֵי יָֽם׃
他獨自鋪張蒼天， 步行在海浪之上。
He alone stretches out the heavens, and treads on the waves of the sea.
9:9
עֹֽשֶׂה־עָ֭שׁ כְּסִ֥יל וְכִימָ֗ה וְחַדְרֵ֥י תֵמָֽן׃
他造北斗、參星、昴星， 並南方的密宮；
He makes the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, and the rooms of the south.
9:10
עֹשֶׂ֣ה גְ֭דֹלוֹת עַד־אֵ֣ין חֵ֑קֶר וְ֝נִפְלָא֗וֹת עַד־אֵ֥ין מִסְפָּֽר׃
他行大事，不可測度， 行奇事，不可勝數。
He does great things past finding out; yes, marvelous things without number.
9:11
הֵ֤ן יַעֲבֹ֣ר עָ֭לַי וְלֹ֣א אֶרְאֶ֑ה וְ֝יַחֲלֹ֗ף וְֽלֹא־אָבִ֥ין לֽוֹ׃
他從我旁邊經過，我卻不看見； 他在我面前行走，我倒不知覺。
Behold, he goes by me, and I don’t see him. He passes on also, but I don’t perceive him.
9:12
הֵ֣ן יַ֭חְתֹּף מִ֣י יְשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ מִי־יֹאמַ֥ר אֵ֝לָ֗יו מַֽה־תַּעֲשֶֽׂה׃
他奪取，誰能阻擋？ 誰敢問他：你做甚麼？
Behold, he snatches away. Who can hinder him? Who will ask him, ‘What are you doing?’
9:13
אֱ֭לוֹהַּ לֹא־יָשִׁ֣יב אַפּ֑וֹ תַּחְתָּ֥ו שָׁ֝חֲח֗וּ עֹ֣זְרֵי רָֽהַב׃
上帝必不收回他的怒氣； 扶助拉哈伯的，屈身在他以下。
“God will not withdraw his anger. The helpers of Rahab stoop under him.
9:14
אַ֭ף כִּֽי־אָנֹכִ֣י אֶעֱנֶ֑נּוּ אֶבְחֲרָ֖ה דְבָרַ֣י עִמּֽוֹ׃
既是這樣，我怎敢回答他， 怎敢選擇言語與他辯論呢？
How much less will I answer him, and choose my words to argue with him?
9:15
אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִם־צָ֭דַקְתִּי לֹ֣א אֶעֱנֶ֑ה לִ֝מְשֹׁפְטִ֗י אֶתְחַנָּֽן׃
我雖有義，也不回答他， 只要向那審判我的懇求。
Though I were righteous, yet I wouldn’t answer him. I would make supplication to my judge.
9:16
אִם־קָרָ֥אתִי וַֽיַּעֲנֵ֑נִי לֹֽא־אַ֝אֲמִ֗ין כִּֽי־יַאֲזִ֥ין קוֹלִֽי׃
我若呼籲，他應允我； 我仍不信他真聽我的聲音。
If I had called, and he had answered me, yet I wouldn’t believe that he listened to my voice.
9:17
אֲשֶׁר־בִּשְׂעָרָ֥ה יְשׁוּפֵ֑נִי וְהִרְבָּ֖ה פְצָעַ֣י חִנָּֽם׃
他用暴風折斷我， 無故地加增我的損傷。
For he breaks me with a storm, and multiplies my wounds without cause.
9:18
לֹֽא־יִ֭תְּנֵנִי הָשֵׁ֣ב רוּחִ֑י כִּ֥י יַ֝שְׂבִּעַ֗נִי מַמְּרֹרִֽים׃
我就是喘一口氣，他都不容， 倒使我滿心苦惱。
He will not allow me to catch my breath, but fills me with bitterness.
9:19
אִם־לְכֹ֣חַ אַמִּ֣יץ הִנֵּ֑ה וְאִם־לְ֝מִשְׁפָּ֗ט מִ֣י יוֹעִידֵֽנִי׃
若論力量，他真有能力！ 若論審判，他說誰能將我傳來呢？
If it is a matter of strength, behold, he is mighty! If of justice, ‘Who,’ says he, ‘will summon me?’
9:20
אִם־אֶ֭צְדָּק פִּ֣י יַרְשִׁיעֵ֑נִי תׇּֽם־אָ֝֗נִי וַֽיַּעְקְשֵֽׁנִי׃
我雖有義，自己的口要定我為有罪； 我雖完全，我口必顯我為彎曲。
Though I am righteous, my own mouth will condemn me. Though I am blameless, it will prove me perverse.
9:21
תׇּֽם־אָ֭נִי לֹֽא־אֵדַ֥ע נַפְשִׁ֗י אֶמְאַ֥ס חַיָּֽי׃
我本完全，不顧自己； 我厭惡我的性命。
I am blameless. I don’t respect myself. I despise my life.
9:22
אַחַ֗ת הִ֥֫יא עַל־כֵּ֥ן אָמַ֑רְתִּי תָּ֥ם וְ֝רָשָׁ֗ע ה֣וּא מְכַלֶּֽה׃
善惡無分，都是一樣； 所以我說，完全人和惡人，他都滅絕。
“It is all the same. Therefore I say he destroys the blameless and the wicked.
9:23
אִם־שׁ֭וֹט יָמִ֣ית פִּתְאֹ֑ם לְמַסַּ֖ת נְקִיִּ֣ם יִלְעָֽג׃
若忽然遭殺害之禍， 他必戲笑無辜的人遇難。
If the scourge kills suddenly, he will mock at the trial of the innocent.
9:24
אֶ֤רֶץ׀ נִתְּנָ֬ה בְֽיַד־רָשָׁ֗ע פְּנֵֽי־שֹׁפְטֶ֥יהָ יְכַסֶּ֑ה אִם־לֹ֖א אֵפ֣וֹא מִי־הֽוּא׃
世界交在惡人手中； 蒙蔽世界審判官的臉， 若不是他，是誰呢？
The earth is given into the hand of the wicked. He covers the faces of its judges. If not he, then who is it?
9:25
וְיָמַ֣י קַ֭לּוּ מִנִּי־רָ֑ץ בָּ֝רְח֗וּ לֹא־רָא֥וּ טוֹבָֽה׃
我的日子比跑信的更快， 急速過去，不見福樂。
“Now my days are swifter than a runner. They flee away. They see no good.
9:26
חָ֭לְפוּ עִם־אֳנִיּ֣וֹת אֵבֶ֑ה כְּ֝נֶ֗שֶׁר יָט֥וּשׂ עֲלֵי־אֹֽכֶל׃
我的日子過去如快船， 如急落抓食的鷹。
They have passed away as the swift ships, as the eagle that swoops on the prey.
9:27
אִם־אׇ֭מְרִי אֶשְׁכְּחָ֣ה שִׂיחִ֑י אֶעֶזְבָ֖ה פָנַ֣י וְאַבְלִֽיגָה׃
我若說：我要忘記我的哀情， 除去我的愁容，心中暢快；
If I say, ‘I will forget my complaint, I will put off my sad face, and cheer up,’
9:28
יָגֹ֥רְתִּי כׇל־עַצְּבֹתָ֑י יָ֝דַ֗עְתִּי כִּי־לֹ֥א תְנַקֵּֽנִי׃
我因愁苦而懼怕， 知道你必不以我為無辜。
I am afraid of all my sorrows. I know that you will not hold me innocent.
9:29
אָנֹכִ֥י אֶרְשָׁ֑ע לָמָּה־זֶּ֝֗ה הֶ֣בֶל אִיגָֽע׃
我必被你定為有罪， 我何必徒然勞苦呢？
I will be condemned. Why then do I labor in vain?
9:30
אִם־הִתְרָחַ֥צְתִּי (במו) [בְמֵי־]שָׁ֑לֶג וַ֝הֲזִכּ֗וֹתִי בְּבֹ֣ר כַּפָּֽי׃
我若用雪水洗身， 用鹼潔淨我的手，
If I wash myself with snow, and cleanse my hands with lye,
9:31
אָ֭ז בַּשַּׁ֣חַת תִּטְבְּלֵ֑נִי וְ֝תִעֲב֗וּנִי שַׂלְמוֹתָֽי׃
你還要扔我在坑裏， 我的衣服都憎惡我。
yet you will plunge me in the ditch. My own clothes will abhor me.
9:32
כִּֽי־לֹא־אִ֣ישׁ כָּמ֣וֹנִי אֶעֱנֶ֑נּוּ נָב֥וֹא יַ֝חְדָּ֗ו בַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃
他本不像我是人，使我可以回答他， 又使我們可以同聽審判。
For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, that we should come together in judgment.
9:33
לֹ֣א יֵשׁ־בֵּינֵ֣ינוּ מוֹכִ֑יחַ יָשֵׁ֖ת יָד֣וֹ עַל־שְׁנֵֽינוּ׃
我們中間沒有聽訟的人 可以向我們兩造按手。
There is no umpire between us, that might lay his hand on us both.
9:34
יָסֵ֣ר מֵעָלַ֣י שִׁבְט֑וֹ וְ֝אֵמָת֗וֹ אַֽל־תְּבַעֲתַֽנִּי׃
願他把杖離開我， 不使驚惶威嚇我。
Let him take his rod away from me. Let his terror not make me afraid;
9:35
אֲֽ֭דַבְּרָה וְלֹ֣א אִירָאֶ֑נּוּ כִּ֥י לֹא־כֵ֥ן אָ֝נֹכִ֗י עִמָּדִֽי׃
我就說話，也不懼怕他， 現在我卻不是那樣。
then I would speak, and not fear him, for I am not so in myself.
