6:1
וַיַּ֥עַן אִיּ֗וֹב וַיֹּאמַֽר׃
約伯回答說:
Then Job answered,
6:2
ל֗וּ שָׁק֣וֹל יִשָּׁקֵ֣ל כַּעְשִׂ֑י (והיתי) [וְ֝הַוָּתִ֗י] בְּֽמֹאזְנַ֥יִם יִשְׂאוּ־יָֽחַד׃
惟願我的煩惱稱一稱, 我一切的災害放在天平裏;
“Oh that my anguish were weighed, and all my calamity laid in the balances!
6:3
כִּֽי־עַתָּ֗ה מֵח֣וֹל יַמִּ֣ים יִכְבָּ֑ד עַל־כֵּ֝֗ן דְּבָרַ֥י לָֽעוּ׃
現今都比海沙更重, 所以我的言語急躁。
For now it would be heavier than the sand of the seas, therefore my words have been rash.
6:4
כִּ֤י חִצֵּ֪י שַׁדַּ֡י עִמָּדִ֗י אֲשֶׁ֣ר חֲ֭מָתָם שֹׁתָ֣ה רוּחִ֑י בִּעוּתֵ֖י אֱל֣וֹהַּ יַעַרְכֽוּנִי׃
因全能者的箭射入我身; 其毒,我的靈喝盡了; 上帝的驚嚇擺陣攻擊我。
For the arrows of the Almighty are within me. My spirit drinks up their poison. The terrors of God set themselves in array against me.
6:5
הֲיִֽנְהַק־פֶּ֥רֶא עֲלֵי־דֶ֑שֶׁא אִ֥ם יִגְעֶה־שּׁ֝֗וֹר עַל־בְּלִילֽוֹ׃
野驢有草豈能叫喚? 牛有料豈能吼叫?
Does the wild donkey bray when he has grass? Or does the ox low over his fodder?
6:6
הֲיֵאָכֵ֣ל תָּ֭פֵל מִבְּלִי־מֶ֑לַח אִם־יֶשׁ־טַ֝֗עַם בְּרִ֣יר חַלָּמֽוּת׃
物淡而無鹽豈可吃嗎? 蛋青有甚麼滋味呢?
Can that which has no flavor be eaten without salt? Or is there any taste in the white of an egg?
6:7
מֵאֲנָ֣ה לִנְגּ֣וֹעַ נַפְשִׁ֑י הֵ֝֗מָּה כִּדְוֵ֥י לַחְמִֽי׃
看為可厭的食物, 我心不肯挨近。
My soul refuses to touch them. They are as loathsome food to me.
6:8
מִֽי־יִ֭תֵּן תָּב֣וֹא שֶׁאֱלָתִ֑י וְ֝תִקְוָתִ֗י יִתֵּ֥ן אֱלֽוֹהַּ׃
惟願我得着所求的, 願上帝賜我所切望的;
“Oh that I might have my request, that God would grant the thing that I long for,
6:9
וְיֹאֵ֣ל אֱ֭לוֹהַּ וִידַכְּאֵ֑נִי יַתֵּ֥ר יָ֝ד֗וֹ וִיבַצְּעֵֽנִי׃
就是願上帝把我壓碎, 伸手將我剪除。
even that it would please God to crush me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!
6:10
וּ֥תְהִי־ע֨וֹד׀ נֶ֘חָ֤מָתִ֗י וַאֲסַלְּדָ֣ה בְ֭חִילָה לֹ֣א יַחְמ֑וֹל כִּי־לֹ֥א כִ֝חַ֗דְתִּי אִמְרֵ֥י קָדֽוֹשׁ׃
我因沒有違棄那聖者的言語, 就仍以此為安慰, 在不止息的痛苦中還可踴躍。
Let it still be my consolation, yes, let me exult in pain that doesn’t spare, that I have not denied the words of the Holy One.
6:11
מַה־כֹּחִ֥י כִֽי־אֲיַחֵ֑ל וּמַה־קִּ֝צִּ֗י כִּֽי־אַאֲרִ֥יךְ נַפְשִֽׁי׃
我有甚麼氣力使我等候? 我有甚麼結局使我忍耐?
What is my strength, that I should wait? What is my end, that I should be patient?
6:12
אִם־כֹּ֣חַ אֲבָנִ֣ים כֹּחִ֑י אִֽם־בְּשָׂרִ֥י נָחֽוּשׁ׃
我的氣力豈是石頭的氣力? 我的肉身豈是銅的呢?
Is my strength the strength of stones? Or is my flesh of bronze?
6:13
הַאִ֬ם אֵ֣ין עֶזְרָתִ֣י בִ֑י וְ֝תֻשִׁיָּ֗ה נִדְּחָ֥ה מִמֶּֽנִּי׃
在我豈不是毫無幫助嗎? 智慧豈不是從我心中趕出淨盡嗎?
Isn’t it that I have no help in me, that wisdom is driven away from me?
6:14
לַמָּ֣ס מֵרֵעֵ֣הוּ חָ֑סֶד וְיִרְאַ֖ת שַׁדַּ֣י יַעֲזֽוֹב׃
那將要灰心、離棄全能者、 不敬畏上帝的人, 他的朋友當以慈愛待他。
“To him who is ready to faint, kindness should be shown from his friend; even to him who forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
6:15
אַ֭חַי בָּגְד֣וּ כְמוֹ־נָ֑חַל כַּאֲפִ֖יק נְחָלִ֣ים יַעֲבֹֽרוּ׃
我的弟兄詭詐,好像溪水, 又像溪水流乾的河道。
My brothers have dealt deceitfully as a brook, as the channel of brooks that pass away;
6:16
הַקֹּדְרִ֥ים מִנִּי־קָ֑רַח עָ֝לֵ֗ימוֹ יִתְעַלֶּם־שָֽׁלֶג׃
這河因結冰發黑, 有雪藏在其中;
which are black by reason of the ice, in which the snow hides itself.
6:17
בְּעֵ֣ת יְזֹרְב֣וּ נִצְמָ֑תוּ בְּ֝חֻמּ֗וֹ נִדְעֲכ֥וּ מִמְּקוֹמָֽם׃
天氣漸暖就隨時消化, 日頭炎熱便從原處乾涸。
In the dry season, they vanish. When it is hot, they are consumed out of their place.
6:18
יִ֭לָּ֣פְתוּ אׇרְח֣וֹת דַּרְכָּ֑ם יַעֲל֖וּ בַתֹּ֣הוּ וְיֹאבֵֽדוּ׃
結伴的客旅離棄大道, 順河偏行,到荒野之地死亡。
The caravans that travel beside them turn away. They go up into the waste, and perish.
6:19
הִ֭בִּיטוּ אׇרְח֣וֹת תֵּמָ֑א הֲלִיכֹ֥ת שְׁ֝בָ֗א קִוּוּ־לָֽמוֹ׃
提瑪結伴的客旅瞻望; 示巴同夥的人等候。
The caravans of Tema looked. The companies of Sheba waited for them.
6:20
בֹּ֥שׁוּ כִֽי־בָטָ֑ח בָּ֥אוּ עָ֝דֶ֗יהָ וַיֶּחְפָּֽרוּ׃
他們因失了盼望就抱愧, 來到那裏便蒙羞。
They were distressed because they were confident. They came there, and were confounded.
6:21
כִּֽי־עַ֭תָּה הֱיִ֣יתֶם לֹ֑א תִּֽרְא֥וּ חֲ֝תַ֗ת וַתִּירָֽאוּ׃
現在你們正是這樣, 看見驚嚇的事便懼怕。
For now you are nothing. You see a terror, and are afraid.
6:22
הֲֽכִי־אָ֭מַרְתִּי הָ֣בוּ לִ֑י וּ֝מִכֹּחֲכֶ֗ם שִׁחֲד֥וּ בַעֲדִֽי׃
我豈說:請你們供給我, 從你們的財物中送禮物給我?
Did I ever say, ‘Give to me’? or, ‘Offer a present for me from your substance’?
6:23
וּמַלְּט֥וּנִי מִיַּד־צָ֑ר וּמִיַּ֖ד עָרִיצִ֣ים תִּפְדּֽוּנִי׃
豈說:拯救我脫離敵人的手嗎? 救贖我脫離強暴人的手嗎?
or, ‘Deliver me from the adversary’s hand’? or, ‘Redeem me from the hand of the oppressors’?
6:24
ה֭וֹרוּנִי וַאֲנִ֣י אַחֲרִ֑ישׁ וּמַה־שָּׁ֝גִ֗יתִי הָבִ֥ינוּ לִֽי׃
請你們教導我,我便不作聲; 使我明白在何事上有錯。
“Teach me, and I will hold my peace. Cause me to understand my error.
6:25
מַה־נִּמְרְצ֥וּ אִמְרֵי־יֹ֑שֶׁר וּמַה־יּוֹכִ֖יחַ הוֹכֵ֣חַ מִכֶּֽם׃
正直的言語力量何其大! 但你們責備是責備甚麼呢?
How forcible are words of uprightness! But your reproof, what does it reprove?
6:26
הַלְהוֹכַ֣ח מִלִּ֣ים תַּחְשֹׁ֑בוּ וּ֝לְר֗וּחַ אִמְרֵ֥י נֹאָֽשׁ׃
絕望人的講論既然如風, 你們還想要駁正言語嗎?
Do you intend to reprove words, since the speeches of one who is desperate are as wind?
6:27
אַף־עַל־יָת֥וֹם תַּפִּ֑ילוּ וְ֝תִכְר֗וּ עַֽל־רֵיעֲכֶֽם׃
你們想為孤兒拈鬮, 以朋友當貨物。
Yes, you would even cast lots for the fatherless, and make merchandise of your friend.
6:28
וְ֭עַתָּה הוֹאִ֣ילוּ פְנוּ־בִ֑י וְעַל־פְּ֝נֵיכֶ֗ם אִם־אֲכַזֵּֽב׃
現在請你們看看我, 我決不當面說謊。
Now therefore be pleased to look at me, for surely I will not lie to your face.
6:29
שֽׁוּבוּ־נָ֭א אַל־תְּהִ֣י עַוְלָ֑ה (ושבי) [וְשׁ֥וּבוּ] ע֝֗וֹד צִדְקִי־בָֽהּ׃
請你們轉意,不要不公; 請再轉意,我的事有理。
Please return. Let there be no injustice. Yes, return again. My cause is righteous.
6:30
הֲיֵשׁ־בִּלְשׁוֹנִ֥י עַוְלָ֑ה אִם־חִ֝כִּ֗י לֹא־יָבִ֥ין הַוּֽוֹת׃
我的舌上豈有不義嗎? 我的口裏豈不辨奸惡嗎?
Is there injustice on my tongue? Can’t my taste discern mischievous things?
