衣索比亞馬加比一書 第 10 章

The grave, and their bones decayed.

Shall they not rise together at the resurrection with their kinsfolk? And their bones shall not be reckoned together with the bones of the wicked and the seducers and the heathen.

And let not your understanding go astray, saying, How shall the dead rise after their death, those who are cast in heaps into the grave?

And when you look into the grave and there is not found even a handful of ashes, and you say, How shall the bones of the dead rise? you say this in the folly of your heart.

That which you have sown, does it not spring up? you say. Indeed it springs up, that which you have sown.

And even so the Lord too, who sowed the souls, raises them up swiftly and does not delay their rising by His life-giving word; for He brought man out of that which was not into true being.

And again He brought him back from being into death, and again from death He brought him back into being.

The Lord is able to make him live and to raise him up.
