The valleys of Gilboa and the mountains of Lebanon, when the rain of mercy from the Lord does not come down upon them, do not put forth grass for the cattle and for the wild beasts.
And the mountains of Gilead and the valleys of Elam too give no greenery for the goats and for the herds that are seen, and for the beasts of the wilderness, both the gazelles and the bulls and the strong ones.
And likewise the rebels and the heretics who from of old got themselves possession of rebellion and error, if the dew of mercy from the Lord does not come down upon them, the dead cannot rise, nor the sorcerers and seducers, the Cypriots and the men of Dema, the slanderers.
9:4
ወእለ፡ ይነብሩ፡ ሰገለ፡ ወሥራየ፡ ወመስተቃትላነ።
還有那些行占卜、行巫術、挑起爭鬥的人；
And those who practise divination and sorcery and stir up strife;
and those who commit fornication without law, and the Athenians and Medes who trust in their idols and sing to them and make merry before them with the drum and the lyre and the harp;
and those who play the madman with their idols and make merry with the work of their own hands, which cannot save themselves; these shall be condemned in the day of judgment, at the resurrection.
9:7
አአብድ፡ ወአእዩየ፡ ሕሊና፡ ይመስለከኑ፡ ዘኢይትነሥኡ፡ ምውታን።
愚昧人哪，你心眼瞎了的人哪，難道你以為死人不能復活嗎？
O fool, blinded in understanding, does it seem to you that the dead do not rise?
