衣索比亞馬加比一書 第 16 章

The people of Tyre and Sidon, and those who dwell upon the sea-coast and at the ford of the river Jordan, and Gilead and Karan and the Canaanites and the Jebusites and the Girgashites and Edom and the people of Amalek;

and all the peoples, in their countries and according to their tribes and according to their ordinances and according to their borders and according to the bounds of their lands; and they all live according as the Lord ordained for them.

And among them there are those whose conduct is good and who know the Lord.

And among them there are those whose deeds are evil and who do not know the Lord who created them and made them His servants, as they were made by the hand of Amenezer king of Syria.

For he takes the power of Damascus and shares the spoil of Samaria before the king of Egypt.

The mountains of Gilead and the valleys of Gilboa and all Samaria and Patos of the land of Judah, and those who dwell in the mountains of Arabia and Media and Parthia and Susiana and Cappadocia;

and the peoples who dwell within their borders, stiff of neck, who do not know the Lord and do not keep His commandment.

He it is who will requite them according to the evil of their deeds and according to the work of their hands.

For the region of Caesarea and the people of Gilead and Amalek band together to make war against the city of the Lord, which is full of righteousness, in which the Holy One of Israel is glorified, the God of Israel of hosts, who sits above the chariot of the cherubim; and ten thousand times ten thousand stand before Him, and a thousand thousands minister to Him in fear and in trembling.
