11:1
ወትወፅእ፡ በትር፡ እምሥርወ፡ እሴይ፤ ወየዐርግ፡ ጽጌ፡ እምጕንዱ።
A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.
從耶西的本 必發一條； 從他根生的枝子必結果實。
11:2
ወየዐርፍ፡ ዲቤሁ፡ መንፈሰ፡ እግዚአብሔር፤ መንፈሰ፡ ጥበብ፡ ወአእምሮ፤ መንፈሰ፡ ኃይል፡ ወምክር፤ መንፈሰ፡ ልቡና፡ ወጽድቅ።
Yahweh’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.
耶和華的靈必住在他身上， 就是使他有智慧和聰明的靈， 謀略和能力的靈， 知識和敬畏耶和華的靈。
11:3
ወይመልእ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ መንፈሰ፡ ፍርሃተ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;
他必以敬畏耶和華為樂； 行審判不憑眼見， 斷是非也不憑耳聞；
11:4
ዳእሙ፡ በየዋህ፡ ኵነኔ፡ ይኴንን፤ ወይዛለፎሙ፡ ለክቡራነ፡ ምድር፤ ወይቀሥፋ፡ ለምድር፡ በቃለ፡ አፉሁ፤ ወበመንፈሰ፡ ከናፍሪሁ፡ ለኃጥእ።
but he will judge the poor with righteousness, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.
卻要以公義審判貧窮人， 以正直判斷世上的謙卑人， 以口中的杖擊打世界， 以嘴裏的氣殺戮惡人。
11:5
ወይቀንት፡ ጽድቀ፡ ውስተ፡ ሐቄሁ፤ ወይትዐፀፍ፡ ርትዐ፡ ውስተ፡ ገቦሁ።
Righteousness will be the belt around his waist, and faithfulness the belt around his waist.
公義必當他的腰帶； 信實必當他脅下的帶子。
11:6
ወይትረዐዩ፡ ተኵላት፡ ምስለ፡ አባግዕ፤ ወየዐርፍ፡ ነምር፡ ምስለ፡ ጠሊ፤ ወይትረዐዩ፡ አልህምት፡ ምስለ፡ አናብስት፤ ወየሐስሎሙ፡ ሕፃን፡ ንስቲት።
The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, the calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.
豺狼必與綿羊羔同居， 豹子與山羊羔同臥； 少壯獅子與牛犢並肥畜同群； 小孩子要牽引牠們。
11:7
ወይትረዐዩ፡ አልህምት፡ ምስለ፡ ድብ፡ ኅቡረ፣፡ ወይትሐፀኑ፡ እጐሊሆሙ፡ ኅቡረ፤ ወይቀምሕ፡ አንበሳ፡ ሐሠረ፡ ከመ፡ ላህም።
The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.
牛必與熊同食； 牛犢必與小熊同臥； 獅子必吃草，與牛一樣。
11:8
ወይወዲ፡ እዴሁ፡ ሕፃን፡ ንስቲት፡ ውስተ፡ ግበ፡ አርዌ፡ ምድር፤ ወውስተ፡ ግበበ፡ አፍዖት።
The nursing child will play near a cobra’s hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.
吃奶的孩子必玩耍在虺蛇的洞口； 斷奶的嬰兒必按手在毒蛇的穴上。
11:9
ወአልቦ፡ ዘይነክዮ፡ ወኢይክል፡ አሕሥሞ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ወኢላዕለ፡ መኑሂ፡ በደብረ፡ መቅደስየ፤ እስመ፡ መልአ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኵሉ፡ አእምሮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ ማይ፡ ብዙኅ፡ ዘይደፍን፡ ባህረ።
They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.
在我聖山的遍處， 這一切都不傷人，不害物； 因為認識耶和華的知識要充滿遍地， 好像水充滿洋海一般。
11:10
ወይቀውም፡ ይእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ሥርወ፡ እሴይ፡ ወዘተሠይመ፡ ይከውን፡ መልአከ፡ አህዛብ፤ ወይትዌከሉ፡ ቦቱ፡ አሕዛብ፤ ወይከውን፡ ምዕራፈ፡ ዘዚአሁ፡ ክብር።
It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.
到那日，耶西的根立作萬民的大旗；外邦人必尋求他，他安息之所大有榮耀。
11:11
ወይእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ይደግም፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አርእዮ፡ እዴሁ፤ ከመ፡ ይቅናእ፡ ተረፈ፡ እለ፡ ተርፉ፡ እምአሕዛብ፡ ዘአትረፉ፡ ፋርስ፡ ወግብጽ፡ ወባቢሎን፡ ወኢትዮጵያ፡ ወኢላሜጦን፡ ወእምሥራቀ፡ ፀሐይ፡ ወእምዕራብ።
It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
當那日，主必二次伸手救回自己百姓中所餘剩的，就是在亞述、埃及、巴忒羅、古實、以攔、示拿、哈馬，並眾海島所剩下的。
11:12
ወያርኢ፡ ትእምርተ፡ ለአሕዛብ፡ ወያስተጋብኦሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ተርፉ፡ እስራኤል፤ ወለእለ፡ ተዘርዉ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ያስተጋብኦሙ፡ እምአርባዕቱ፡ አጽናፈ፡ ምድር።
He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
他必向列國豎立大旗， 招回以色列被趕散的人， 又從地的四方聚集分散的猶大人。
11:13
ወይሠዐር፡ ቅንአተ፡ ኤፍሬም፡ ወትጠፍኡ፡ ፀረ፡ ይሁዳ።
The envy also of Ephraim will depart, and those who persecute Judah will be cut off. Ephraim won’t envy Judah, and Judah won’t persecute Ephraim.
以法蓮的嫉妒就必消散； 擾害猶大的必被剪除。 以法蓮必不嫉妒猶大， 猶大也不擾害以法蓮。
11:14
ወይሰርሩ፡ በአሕማረ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፤ እንተ፡ ባሕር፡ ይመሀርኩ፡ ኅቡረ፣፡ እለ፡ እምሥራቀ፡ ፀሐይ፡ ወኢዶምያ፣፡ ወይቀድሙ፡ ያውርዱ፡ እዴሆሙ፡ ዲበ፡ ሞአብ፤ ወይቀድሙ፡ ደቂቀ፡ አሞን፡ ይግረሩ።
They will fly down on the shoulders of the Philistines on the west. Together they will plunder the children of the east. They will extend their power over Edom and Moab, and the children of Ammon will obey them.
他們要向西飛， 撲在非利士人的肩頭上 ， 一同擄掠東方人， 伸手按住以東和摩押； 亞捫人也必順服他們。
11:15
ወያነፅፋ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለባሕረ፡ ግብጽ፡ ወያመጽእ፡ እዴሁ፡ ላዕለ፡ ፈለግ፡ በነፍስ፡ ኃይል፡ ወይቀሥፍ፡ ሰብዐተ፡ ቈላተ፡ ከመ፡ ይሖርዎን፡ በአሣእን።
Yahweh will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will split it into seven streams, and cause men to march over in sandals.
耶和華必使埃及海汊枯乾， 掄手用暴熱的風使大河分為七條， 令人過去不致濕腳。
11:16
ወይከውን፡ መጽያሕተ፡ ለሕዝብየ፡ እለ፡ ተርፉ፡ ውስተ፡ ግብጽ፤ ወይከውኖሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ከመ፡ አመ፡ ወፅኡ፡ እምግብጽ።
There will be a highway for the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, like there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
為主餘剩的百姓， 就是從亞述剩下回來的， 必有一條大道， 如當日以色列從埃及地上來一樣。
