9:1
ዘንተ፡ ፍጡነ፡ ግበር፡ ወፍጡነ፡ ስተይ፡ ብሔረ፡ ዛብሎን፡ ወምድረ፡ ንፍታሌም፡ ወተረፈ፡ ጰራልዩ፡ ወማዕዶተ፡ ዮርዳኖስ፡ ወገሊላ፡ ዘአሕዛብ።
But there shall be no more gloom for her who was in anguish. In the former time, he brought into contempt the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali; but in the latter time he has made it glorious, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations.
但那受過痛苦的必不再見幽暗。 未來的君王 從前上帝使西布倫地和拿弗他利地被藐視，末後卻使這沿海的路，約旦河外，外邦人的加利利地得着榮耀。
9:2
ሕዝብ፡ ዘይነብር፡ ውስተ፡ ጽልመት፡ ርእዩ፡ ብርሃነ፡ ዓቢየ፤ እለ፡ ይነብሩ፡ ውስተ፡ ብሔረ፡ ጽልመት፡ ወጽላሎተ፡ ሞት፡ ብርሃን፡ በርሀ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ።
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. The light has shined on those who lived in the land of the shadow of death.
在黑暗中行走的百姓看見了大光； 住在死蔭之地的人有光照耀他們。
9:3
ዘይበዝኅ፡ ሕዝበ፡ አውረድከ፡ በትፍሥሕት፤ ወይትኀሠዩ፡ በቅድሜከ፡ ከመዝ፡ እለ፡ ይትፌሥሑ፡ በማእረር፡ ወከመ፡ እለ፡ ይትካፈሉ፡ በርበረ።
You have multiplied the nation. You have increased their joy. They rejoice before you according to the joy in harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the plunder.
你使這國民繁多， 加增他們的喜樂； 他們在你面前歡喜， 好像收割的歡喜， 像人分擄物那樣的快樂。
9:4
እስመ፡ ተሥዕረ፡ አርዑቶሙ፡ ዘንቡር፡ ዲቤሆሙ፡ ወበትርኒ፡ እንተ፡ ዲበ፡ ክሳዶሙ፤ እስመ፡ ሜጠ፡ በትረ፡ እለ፡ ይትፈደዩ፡ ወዐለዎሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ያቀትዉ፡ ከመ፡ አመ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ምድያም።
For the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, you have broken as in the day of Midian.
因為他們所負的重軛 和肩頭上的杖， 並欺壓他們人的棍， 你都已經折斷， 好像在米甸的日子一樣。
9:5
ወአስተጋብእ፡ ዐራዘ፡ ኵሉ፡ በጕሕሉት፡ ዘተጋብአ፡ ወተፈድየ፡ አልባሰ፡ በተውላጥ፤ ወይፈቅዱ፡ ያውዕይዎ፡ በእሳት።
For all the armor of the armed man in the noisy battle, and the garments rolled in blood, will be for burning, fuel for the fire.
戰士在亂殺之間所穿戴的盔甲， 並那滾在血中的衣服， 都必作為可燒的， 當作火柴。
9:6
እስመ፡ ሕፃን፡ ተወልደ፡ ለነ፤ ወልድ፡ ተውህበ፡ ለነ፡ ወቅድመት፡ ኮነ፡ በመትከፍቱ፡ ወይሰመይ፡ ስሙ፡ ዓቢየ፡ ምክር፡ መልአክ፤ እስመ፡ አነ፡ አመጽእ፡ ሰላመ፡ ለመላእክት፡ ወሕይወተ፡ ዚአሁ።
For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
因有一嬰孩為我們而生； 有一子賜給我們。 政權必擔在他的肩頭上； 他名稱為「奇妙策士、全能的上帝、永在的父、和平的君」。
9:7
ወዕበይ፡ ቅድሜሁ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ማኅለቅተ፡ ለሰላሙ፤ ዲበ፡ መንበረ፡ ዳዊት፡ ትጸንዕ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ወይትዌከፍ፡ በጽድቅ፡ ወበርትዕ፡ እምይእዜ፡ ወእስከ፡ ለዓለም።
Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on David’s throne, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Armies will perform this.
他的政權與平安必加增無窮。 他必在大衛的寶座上治理他的國， 以公平公義使國堅定穩固， 從今直到永遠。 萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。
9:8
ወፈነወ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ሞተ፡ ላዕለ፡ ያዕቆብ፡ ወመጽአ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል።
The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it falls on Israel.
主使一言入於雅各家， 落於以色列家。
9:9
ወያእምሩ፡ ኵሉ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ኤፍሬም፡ ወእለ፡ ይነብሩ፡ ሰማርያ፤ በኃሣሮሙ፡ እለ፡ ይብሉ፡ በትዝኅርተ፡ ልቦሙ።
All the people will know, including Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria, who say in pride and in arrogance of heart,
這眾百姓，就是以法蓮 和撒馬利亞的居民，都要知道； 他們憑驕傲自大的心說：
9:10
ግንፋልሰ፡ ወድቀ፣፡ ንዑ፡ ንቀር፡ እብነ፤ ወንግዝም፡ ሠግላ፡ ወጽሕድ፡ ማኅፈደ፡ ለነ።
“The bricks have fallen, but we will build with cut stone. The sycamore fig trees have been cut down, but we will put cedars in their place.”
磚牆塌了，我們卻要鑿石頭建築； 桑樹砍了，我們卻要換香柏樹。
9:11
ወያንኅሎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዲበ፡ እለ፡ ይቀውሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ደብረ፡ ጽዮን፤ ወይመውጦሙ፡ ለፀር።
Therefore Yahweh will set up on high against him the adversaries of Rezin, and will stir up his enemies,
因此，耶和華要高舉利汛的敵人 來攻擊以色列， 並要激動以色列的仇敵。
9:12
ለሶርያ፡ እምሥራቀ፡ ፀሐይ፡ ወለአረሚያንሂ፡ እምዕራበ፡ ፀሐይ፤ እለ፡ ይውሕጥዎሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ወአብቀዉ፡ አፉሆሙ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ።
The Syrians in front, and the Philistines behind; and they will devour Israel with open mouth. For all this, his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
東有亞蘭人，西有非利士人； 他們張口要吞吃以色列。 雖然如此，耶和華的怒氣還未轉消； 他的手仍伸不縮。
9:13
ወሕዝብኒ፡ ኢተመይጠ፡ እስከ፡ ተቀሥፈ፤ ወኢኀሠሥዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ኃያል።
Yet the people have not turned to him who struck them, neither have they sought Yahweh of Armies.
這百姓還沒有歸向擊打他們的主， 也沒有尋求萬軍之耶和華。
9:14
ወመተረ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እምእስራኤል፡ ርእሰ፡ ወዘነበ፤ ዓቢየ፡ ወንኡሰ፡ በሐአቲ፡ ዕለት።
Therefore Yahweh will cut off from Israel head and tail, palm branch and reed, in one day.
因此，耶和華一日之間 必從以色列中剪除頭與尾， 棕枝與蘆葦－
9:15
ወልሂቅሂ፡ ወእለ፡ ያደሉ፡ ላዕለ፡ ገጽ፡ ውእቱ፡ ርእስ፣፡ ነቢይሂ፡ ዘይሜህር፡ ዓመፃ፡ ውእቱ፡ ዘነብ።
The elder and the honorable man is the head, and the prophet who teaches lies is the tail.
長老和尊貴人就是頭， 以謊言教人的先知就是尾。
9:16
ወይጌግዩ፡ እለ፡ ያስተበፅዕዎሙ፡ ለዝንቱ፡ ሕዝብ፤ ወያስሕትዎሙ፡ ከመ፡ የሐጥዎሙ።
For those who lead this people lead them astray; and those who are led by them are destroyed.
因為，引導這百姓的使他們走錯了路； 被引導的都必敗亡。
9:17
በበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ኢይትፌሣሕ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወበራዙቲሆሙ፤ ወኢይሣሀል፡ እጓለ፡ ማውታሆሙ፡ ወእቤራቲሆሙ፤ እስመ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ እኩያን፡ ወጽልሕዋን፤ ወኵሉ፡ አፍ፡ ይነብብ፡ ዓመፃ።
Therefore the Lord will not rejoice over their young men, neither will he have compassion on their fatherless and widows; for everyone is profane and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
所以，主必不喜悅他們的少年人， 也不憐恤他們的孤兒寡婦； 因為，各人是褻瀆的，是行惡的， 並且各人的口都說愚妄的話。 雖然如此，耶和華的怒氣還未轉消； 他的手仍伸不縮。
9:18
ወይነድድ፡ ከመ፡ እሳት፡ ኃጢአት፡ ወከመ፡ ሐሠር፡ ይቡስ፡ ዘበልዐቶ፡ እሳት፤ ወይውዓ፡ ከመ፡ ሣዕረ፡ ገዳም፡ ወይበልዕ፡ ዘዐውደ፡ አውግር፡ ኵሎ።
For wickedness burns like a fire. It devours the briers and thorns; yes, it kindles in the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in a column of smoke.
邪惡像火焚燒， 燒滅荊棘和蒺藜， 在稠密的樹林中着起來， 就成為煙柱，旋轉上騰。
9:19
መቅሠፍተ፡ መዓቱ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ታውዒ፡ ኵላ፡ ምድረ፤ ወይከውኑ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ከመ፡ ዋዕየ፡ እሳት፡ ወኢይምሕር፡ ብእሲ፡ እኅዋሁ።
Through Yahweh of Armies’ wrath, the land is burned up; and the people are the fuel for the fire. No one spares his brother.
因萬軍之耶和華的烈怒，地都燒遍； 百姓成為火柴； 無人憐愛弟兄。
9:20
ወይትመየጥ፡ የማኖ፡ እስመ፡ ይርኅብ፤ ወይበልዕ፡ ፀጋሞ፡ ወኢይጸግብ፡ ሰብእ፤ እንዘ፡ ይበልዕ፡ ሥጋ፡ መዝራዕቱ።
One will devour on the right hand, and be hungry; and he will eat on the left hand, and they will not be satisfied. Everyone will eat the flesh of his own arm:
有人右邊搶奪，仍受飢餓， 左邊吞吃，仍不飽足； 各人吃自己膀臂上的肉。
9:21
ወበዝኒ፡ ኢተመይጠት፡ መዓቱ፤ እዴሁ፡ ዓዲሃ፡ ልዕልት።
Manasseh eating Ephraim and Ephraim eating Manasseh, and they together will be against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
瑪拿西吞吃 以法蓮； 以法蓮吞吃瑪拿西， 又一同攻擊猶大。 雖然如此，耶和華的怒氣還未轉消； 他的手仍伸不縮。
