2:1

ወይቤ ፡ መልአከ ፡ ገጽ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ በቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይብል ፡ ጸሐፍ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ነገረ ፡ ፍጥረት ፡ ከመ ፡ በሰዱስ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ፈጸመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ግብሮ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ዘፈጠረ ፡ ወአሰንበተ ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ሳብዕት ፡ ወቀደሳ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ዓለማት ፡ ወአንበራ ፡ ትእምርተ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ግብሩ ።

And the angel of the presence spoke to Moses by the word of the Lord, saying, Write all the words of the creation, how in six days the Lord God finished all his works and all that he created, and he kept Sabbath on the seventh day and hallowed it for all ages, and set it as a sign for all his works.

臨在的天使奉耶和華的話對摩西說：「你要寫下創造的一切話語，就是神在六日之內如何完成祂一切的工作和祂所造的萬物，並在第七日安息，且分別這日為聖，直到萬代，又立這日為祂一切工作的記號。

2:2

እስመ ፡ በዕለት ፡ ቀዳሚት ፡ ፈጠረ ፡ ሰማያተ ፡ እለ ፡ መልዕልት ፡ ወምድረ ፡ ወማያተ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ ዘይትለአክ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ ወመላእክተ ፡ ገጽኒ ፡ ወመላእክተ ፡ ቅዳሴ ፡ ወመላእክተ ፡ መንፈሰ ፡ እሳት ፡ ወመላእክተ ፡ መንፈሰ ፡ እስትንፋስ ፡ ወመላእክተ ፡ መንፈሰ ፡ ደመናት ፡ ለጽልመት ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ወለበረድ ፡ ወለአስሐትያ ፡ ወመላእክተ ፡ ቃላት ፡ ወነጐድጓዳት ፡ ወለመባርቅት ፡ ወመላእክተ ፡ መናፍስት ፡ ለቍር ፡ ወለመርቄ ፡ ወለክረምት ፡ ወለመጸው ፡ ወለማእረር ፡ ወለሐጋይ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ መናፍስተ ፡ ተግባሩ ፡ ዘበሰማያት ፡ ወዘበምድር ፡ ወዘበኵሉ ፡ ቀላያት ፡ ወጽልመት ፡ ወብርሃን ፡ ወጎሕ ፡ ወምሴት ፡ ዘአስተዳለወ ፡ በአእምሮ ፡ ልቡ ።

1 For on the first day He created the heavens which are above and the earth and the waters and all the spirits which serve before Him—the angels 2 of the presence, and the angels of sanctification, 3 and the angels [of the spirit of fire and the angels ] of the spirit of the winds, 4 and the angels of the spirit of the clouds, and of darkness, and of snow and of hail and of hoar frost, 5 and the angels of the voices 6 and of the thunder and of the lightning, 7 and the angels of the spirits of cold and of heat, and of winter and of spring and of autumn and of summer, 8 and of all the spirits of His creatures which are in the heavens and on the earth. (He created) the abysses and the darkness, eventide (and night), and the light, dawn and day, which He hath prepared in the knowledge of His heart.

因為在第一日，神創造了上面的諸天、大地、眾水，以及一切在祂面前事奉的靈，就是臨在的天使、聖潔的天使、掌管火之靈的天使、掌管風之靈的天使、掌管雲與黑暗、雪、雹、白霜之靈的天使、掌管聲音、雷與電的天使、掌管冷熱、冬春秋夏諸靈的天使，以及天上地上祂一切受造之物諸靈的天使。祂又造了深淵與黑暗、傍晚與黑夜、光明、黎明與白晝，這都是祂憑著心中的智慧所預備的。

2:3

ወአሜሃ ፡ ርኢነ ፡ ምግባሮ ፡ ወባረክናሁ ፡ ወሰባሕነ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምግባሩ ፡ እስመ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ዐበይተ ፡ ገብረ ፡ በቀዳሚት ፡ ዕለት ።

And thereupon we saw His works, and praised Him, and lauded before Him on account of all His works; for seven great works did He create on the first day.

於是我們看見祂的作為，便讚美祂，在祂面前因祂一切的作為而稱頌；因為在第一日，祂創造了七樣大工。

2:4

ወበዕለተ ፡ ሳኒታ ፡ ገብረ ፡ ምጽናዓተ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወተከፍለ ፡ ማያት ፡ በይእቲ ፡ ዕለት ፡ መንፈቆሙ ፡ ዐርጉ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ወመንፈቆሙ ፡ ወረዱ ፡ መትሕተ ፡ ምጽናዓት ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ገጻ ፡ ለኵላ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወዘንተ ፡ ባሕቲቶ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ገብረ ፡ በሳኒታ ፡ ዕለት ።

And on the second day 1 He created the firmament in the midst of the waters, and the waters were divided on that day—half of them went up above and half of them went down below the firmament (that was) in the midst over the face of the whole earth. And this was the only work (God) created on the second day.

第二日，祂在眾水之間造了穹蒼，那日眾水就分開了——一半上升到穹蒼以上，一半下降到穹蒼以下，遍滿全地的表面。這是神在第二日所造的唯一工作。

2:5

ወበሣልስት ፡ ዕለት ፡ ገብረ ፡ በከመ ፡ ይቤ ፡ ለማያት ፡ ይኅልፉ ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ገጻ ፡ ለኵላ ፡ ምድር ፡ ውስተ ፡ መካን ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ወያስተርኢ ፡ የብስ ።

And on the third day 2 He commanded the waters to pass from off the face of the whole earth into one place, and the'dry land to appear.

第三日，祂吩咐眾水從全地的表面退去，聚集到一處，使旱地顯露出來。

2:6

ወገብሩ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ማያት ፡ በከመ ፡ ይቤሎሙ ፡ ወተግሕሡ ፡ እምዲበ ፡ ገጻ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ውስተ ፡ መካን ፡ አሐዱ ፡ አፍአ ፡ እምጽናዓተዝ ፡ ወአስተርአየት ፡ የብስ ።

And the waters did so as He commanded them, and they retired from off the face of the earth into one place outside of the firmament, and the dry land appeared.

眾水就照祂所吩咐的而行，從地面退去，聚集到穹蒼以外的一處，旱地便顯露出來。

2:7

ወበይእቲ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ፈጠረ ፡ ላቲ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ አብሕርተ ፡ በበ ፡ ምጉባኢሆሙ ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ አፍላግ ፡ ወምጉባኢሆሙ ፡ ለማያት ፡ ውስተ ፡ አድባር ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።

And on that day He created for them all the seas according to their separate gathering places, and all the rivers, and the gatherings of the waters in the mountains and on all the earth, and all the lakes, and all the dew of the earth, and the seed which is sown, and all sprouting things, and fruit-bearing trees, and trees of the wood, and the garden of Eden, in Eden, and all (plants after their kind). These four great works God created on the third day.

那日，祂為眾水造了一切的海，各歸其聚集之處，又造了一切的江河，以及山間與遍地眾水的聚集之處，並一切的湖泊、地上一切的甘露、所撒的種子、一切萌芽之物、結果子的樹木、林中的樹木，並伊甸中的伊甸園，以及各從其類的一切草木。這四樣大工是神在第三日所創造的。

2:8

ወበዕለተ ፡ ራብዕት ፡ ገብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፀሐየ ፡ ወወርኀ ፡ ወከዋክብተ ፡ ወአንበሮሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምጽናዓተ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያብርሁ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።

And on the fourth day 3 He created the sun and the moon and the stars, and set them in the firmament of the heaven, to give light upon all the earth, and to rule over the day and the night, and divide the light from the darkness.

第四日，神創造了日、月、星辰，將它們安置在天的穹蒼中，普照全地，管理晝夜，並分別光暗。

2:9

ወወሀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፀሐየ ፡ ለትእምርት ፡ ዐቢይ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ለመዋዕል ፡ ወለሰንበት ፡ ወለአውራኅ ፡ ወለበዓላት ፡ ወለዓመታት ፡ ወለሰንበታተ ፡ ዓመታት ፡ ወለኢዮቤልዉሳት ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ፡ ለዓመታት ።

And God appointed the sun 4 to be a great sign on the earth for days and for sabbaths and for months and for feasts and for years and for sabbaths of years and for jubilees and for all seasons of the years.

神又派定太陽，作地上一個大記號，定出日子、安息日、月份、節期、年歲、年的安息日、禧年，以及年中一切的節令。
