30:1
Nunc autem derident me juniores tempore, quorum non dignabar patres ponere cum canibus gregis mei :
但如今,比我年少的人戲笑我; 其人之父我曾藐視, 不肯安在看守我羊群的狗中。
“But now those who are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I considered unworthy to put with my sheep dogs.
30:2
quorum virtus manuum mihi erat pro nihilo, et vita ipsa putabantur indigni :
他們壯年的氣力既已衰敗, 其手之力與我何益呢?
Of what use is the strength of their hands to me, men in whom ripe age has perished?
30:3
egestate et fame steriles, qui rodebant in solitudine, squallentes calamitate et miseria.
他們因窮乏飢餓,身體枯瘦, 在荒廢淒涼的幽暗中齦乾燥之地,
They are gaunt from lack and famine. They gnaw the dry ground, in the gloom of waste and desolation.
30:4
Et mandebant herbas, et arborum cortices, et radix juniperorum erat cibus eorum :
在草叢之中採鹹草, 羅騰 的根為他們的食物。
They pluck salt herbs by the bushes. The roots of the broom tree are their food.
30:5
qui de convallibus ista rapientes, cum singula reperissent, ad ea cum clamore currebant.
他們從人中被趕出; 人追喊他們如賊一般,
They are driven out from among men. They cry after them as after a thief,
30:6
In desertis habitabant torrentium, et in cavernis terrae, vel super glaream :
以致他們住在荒谷之間, 在地洞和巖穴中;
so that they live in frightful valleys, and in holes of the earth and of the rocks.
30:7
qui inter hujuscemodi laetabantur, et esse sub sentibus delicias computabant :
在草叢中叫喚, 在荊棘下聚集。
They bray among the bushes. They are gathered together under the nettles.
30:8
filii stultorum et ignobilium, et in terra penitus non parentes.
這都是愚頑下賤人的兒女; 他們被鞭打,趕出境外。
They are children of fools, yes, children of wicked men. They were flogged out of the land.
30:9
Nunc in eorum canticum versus sum, et factus sum eis in proverbium.
現在這些人以我為歌曲, 以我為笑談。
“Now I have become their song. Yes, I am a byword to them.
30:10
Abominantur me, et longe fugiunt a me, et faciem meam conspuere non verentur.
他們厭惡我,躲在旁邊站着, 不住地吐唾沫在我臉上。
They abhor me, they stand aloof from me, and don’t hesitate to spit in my face.
30:11
Pharetram enim suam aperuit, et afflixit me, et frenum posuit in os meum.
鬆開他們的繩索苦待我, 在我面前脫去轡頭。
For he has untied his cord, and afflicted me; and they have thrown off restraint before me.
30:12
Ad dexteram orientis calamitates meae illico surrexerunt : pedes meos subverterunt, et oppresserunt quasi fluctibus semitis suis.
這等下流人在我右邊起來, 推開我的腳,築成戰路來攻擊我。
On my right hand rise the rabble. They thrust aside my feet. They cast their ways of destruction up against me.
30:13
Dissipaverunt itinera mea ; insidiati sunt mihi, et praevaluerunt : et non fuit qui ferret auxilium.
這些無人幫助的, 毀壞我的道,加增我的災。
They mar my path. They promote my destruction without anyone’s help.
30:14
Quasi rupto muro, et aperta janua, irruerunt super me, et ad meas miserias devoluti sunt.
他們來如同闖進大破口, 在毀壞之間滾在我身上。
As through a wide breach they come. They roll themselves in amid the ruin.
30:15
Redactus sum in nihilum : abstulisti quasi ventus desiderium meum, et velut nubes pertransiit salus mea.
驚恐臨到我, 驅逐我的尊榮如風; 我的福祿如雲過去。
Terrors have turned on me. They chase my honor as the wind. My welfare has passed away as a cloud.
30:16
Nunc autem in memetipso marcescit anima mea, et possident me dies afflictionis.
現在我心極其悲傷; 困苦的日子將我抓住。
“Now my soul is poured out within me. Days of affliction have taken hold of me.
30:17
Nocte os meum perforatur doloribus, et qui me comedunt, non dormiunt.
夜間,我裏面的骨頭刺我, 疼痛不止,好像齦我。
In the night season my bones are pierced in me, and the pains that gnaw me take no rest.
30:18
In multitudine eorum consumitur vestimentum meum, et quasi capitio tunicae succinxerunt me.
因上帝的大力,我的外衣污穢不堪, 又如裏衣的領子將我纏住。
My garment is disfigured by great force. It binds me about as the collar of my tunic.
30:19
Comparatus sum luto, et assimilatus sum favillae et cineri.
上帝把我扔在淤泥中, 我就像塵土和爐灰一般。
He has cast me into the mire. I have become like dust and ashes.
30:20
Clamo ad te, et non exaudis me : sto, et non respicis me.
主啊,我呼求你,你不應允我; 我站起來,你就定睛看我。
I cry to you, and you do not answer me. I stand up, and you gaze at me.
30:21
Mutatus es mihi in crudelem, et in duritia manus tuae adversaris mihi.
你向我變心,待我殘忍, 又用大能追逼我,
You have turned to be cruel to me. With the might of your hand you persecute me.
30:22
Elevasti me, et quasi super ventum ponens ; elisisti me valide.
把我提在風中,使我駕風而行, 又使我消滅在烈風中。
You lift me up to the wind, and drive me with it. You dissolve me in the storm.
30:23
Scio quia morti trades me, ubi constituta est domus omni viventi.
我知道要使我臨到死地, 到那為眾生所定的陰宅。
For I know that you will bring me to death, to the house appointed for all living.
30:24
Verumtamen non ad consumptionem eorum emittis manum tuam : et si corruerint, ipse salvabis.
然而,人仆倒豈不伸手? 遇災難豈不求救呢?
“However doesn’t one stretch out a hand in his fall? Or in his calamity therefore cry for help?
30:25
Flebam quondam super eo qui afflictus erat, et compatiebatur anima mea pauperi.
人遭難,我豈不為他哭泣呢? 人窮乏,我豈不為他憂愁呢?
Didn’t I weep for him who was in trouble? Wasn’t my soul grieved for the needy?
30:26
Expectabam bona, et venerunt mihi mala : praestolabar lucem, et eruperunt tenebrae.
我仰望得好處,災禍就到了; 我等待光明,黑暗便來了。
When I looked for good, then evil came. When I waited for light, darkness came.
30:27
Interiora mea efferbuerunt absque ulla requie : praevenerunt me dies afflictionis.
我心裏煩擾不安, 困苦的日子臨到我身。
My heart is troubled, and doesn’t rest. Days of affliction have come on me.
30:28
Moerens incedebam sine furore ; consurgens, in turba clamabam.
我沒有日光就哀哭行去 ; 我在會中站着求救。
I go mourning without the sun. I stand up in the assembly, and cry for help.
30:29
Frater fui draconum, et socius struthionum.
我與野狗為弟兄, 與鴕鳥為同伴。
I am a brother to jackals, and a companion to ostriches.
30:30
Cutis mea denigrata est super me, et ossa mea aruerunt prae caumate.
我的皮膚黑而脫落; 我的骨頭因熱燒焦。
My skin grows black and peels from me. My bones are burned with heat.
30:31
Versa est in luctum cithara mea, et organum meum in vocem flentium.
所以,我的琴音變為悲音; 我的簫聲變為哭聲。
Therefore my harp has turned to mourning, and my pipe into the voice of those who weep.
