28:1
ወእምህየ፡ ሖርኩ፡ መንገለ፡ ጽባሕ፡ ማእከላ፡ ለደብረ፡ መድበራ፡ ወርኢክዎ፡ ገዳመ፡ ባሕቲቶ፡ ወባሕቱ፡ ምሉእ፡ ዕፀወ።
And thence I went towards the east, into the midst of the mountain range of the desert, and I saw a wilderness and it was solitary, full of trees and plants.
我從那裡往東行去，進入曠野山列的中間，看見一片荒野，是孤寂的，卻滿了樹木花草。
28:2
እምነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ዘርዕ፡ ወማይ፡ ይፈለፍል፡ በላዕሉ፡ ወበላዕሉ፡ ያስተርኢ፡ አስራብ፡ ከመ፡ ብዙኅ፡ ዘይሰርብ፡ ከመ፡ መንገለ፡ መስዕ፡ መንገለ፡ ዐረብ፡ ወእምኵለሄኒ፡ የዐርግ፡ ወእምህየኒ፡ ማይ፡ ወጠል።
And water gushed forth from above.
從這地的種子有水從高處湧出；在其上可見眾水奔流，彷彿大量水流向西北方傾瀉，從各處上升，又從那裡而出有水與露。
