83:1
ወይእዜኒ፡ አርእይኩከ፡ ወልድየ፡ ማቱሳላ፡ ኵሎ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ራእያተ፡ እለ፡ ርኢኩ፡ እነግር፡ በቅድሜከ።
And now, my son Methuselah, I will show thee all my visions which I have seen, recounting them before thee.
我兒瑪土撒拉啊，如今我要將我所見的一切，並一切的異象都指示你，在你面前述說。
83:2
ክልኤተ፡ ራእያተ፡ ርኢኩ፡ እንበለ፡ እንሣእ፡ ብእሲተ፡ ወአሐዱሂ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ ኢይትማሰል፡ ምስለ፡ ካልኡ፡ ቀዳማየ፡ አመ፡ እትሜሀር፡ መጽሐፈ፡ ወካልአ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ እንሥኣ፡ ለእምከ፡ ርኢኩ፡ ራእየ፡ ጽኑዐ፡ ወበእንቲኣሆሙ፡ አስተብቋዕክዎ፡ ለእግዚእ።
Two visions I saw before I took a wife, and the one was quite unlike the other: the first when I was learning to write: the second before I took thy mother, (when) I saw a terrible vision.
在我娶妻之先，我看見兩個異象，這一個與那一個全然不同：頭一個是在我學寫字的時候，第二個是在我娶你母親之先，我看見一個可怕的異象，為這事我向那主懇求。
83:3
ወስኩበ፡ ኮንኩ፡ በቤተ፡ መላልኤል፡ እምኄውየ፡ ርኢኩ፡ በራእይ፡ ሰማይ፡ ይትነጻሕ፡ ወይትሀየድ፡ ወይወድቅ፡ ዲበ፡ ምድር።
And regarding them I prayed to the Lord. I had laid me down in the house of my grandfather Mahalalel, (when) I saw in a vision how the heaven collapsed and was borne off and fell to the earth.
我躺在我祖宗瑪勒列家中，在異象中看見天塌陷、被挪去、落到地上。
83:4
ወሶበ፡ ይወድቅ፡ ዲበ፡ ምድር፡ ርኢክዋ፡ ለምድር፡ ከመ፡ ትትወሐጥ፡ ውስተ፡ ቀላይ፡ ዐቢይ፡ ወአድባር፡ ዲበ፡ አድባር፡ ይሰቀሉ፡ ወአውግር፡ ዲበ፡ አውግር፡ ይሰጠሙ፡ ወአዕዋም፡ ነዊኀት፡ እምጕንዳቲሆሙ፡ ይትገዘሙ፡ ወይትገደፉ፡ ወይሰጠሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ቀላይ።
And when it fell to the earth I saw how the earth was swallowed up in a great abyss, and mountains were suspended on mountains, and hills sank down on hills, and high trees were rent from their stems, and hurled down and sunk in the abyss.
當它落到地上時，我看見大地被吞沒在大深淵中，山懸於山之上，小山陷於小山之上，高樹從其幹上被折斷，被拋下、沉沒在深淵中。
83:5
ወእምኔሁ፡ ወድቀ፡ ነገር፡ ውስተ፡ አፉየ፡ ወአንሣእኩ፡ እጽራሕ፡ ወእቤ፡ ተሀጕለት፡ ምድር።
And thereupon a word fell into my mouth, and I lifted up (my voice) to cry aloud, and said: ‘The earth is destroyed.’
於是有話落入我口中，我便揚聲呼喊，說：「大地毀滅了。」
83:6
ወመላልኤል፡ እምኄውየ፡ አንሥአኒ፡ እንዘ፡ አነ፡ እሰክብ፡ ወይቤለኒ፡ ለምንት፡ ከመ፡ ዝ፡ ትጸርሕ፡ ወልድየ፡ ወለምንት፡ ከመ፡ ዝ፡ ተዐወዩ።
And my grandfather Mahalalel waked me as I lay near him, and said unto me: ‘Why dost thou cry so, my son, and why dost thou make such lamentation?’
我祖宗瑪勒列把躺在他旁邊的我喚醒，對我說：「我兒，你為甚麼這樣呼喊？為甚麼這樣哀號？」
83:7
ወነገርክዎ፡ ኵሎ፡ ራእየ፡ ዘርኢኩ፡ ወይቤለኒ፡ ከመ፡ ጽኑዐ፡ ርኢከ፡ ወልድየ፡ ወኀየለ፡ ራእየ፡ ሕልምከ፡ ኅቡአተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ኀጢአተ፡ ምድር፡ ወትሰጠም፡ ሀለወት፡ ውስተ፡ ቀላያት፡ ወተሀጕል፡ ሀጕለ፡ ዐቢየ።
And I recounted to him the whole vision which I had seen, and he said unto me: ‘A terrible thing hast thou seen, my son, and of grave moment is thy dream-vision as to the secrets of all the sin of the earth: it must sink into the abyss and be destroyed with a great destruction.
我便將所見的全部異象告訴他，他對我說：「我兒，你所見的是可怕的事，你這夢中的異象關係重大，論到地上一切罪的奧祕：它必沉入深淵，遭受大毀滅。
83:8
ወይእዜኒ፡ ወልድየ፡ ተንሥእ፡ ወአስተብቍዖ፡ ለእግዚአ፡ ስብሐት፡ እስመ፡ መሃይምን፡ አንተ፡ ከመ፡ ይትርፍ፡ ትራፍ፡ ዲበ፡ ምድር፡ ወይደመስሳ፡ ለኵላ፡ ምድር።
And now, my son, arise and make petition to the Lord of glory, since thou art a believer, that a remnant may remain on the earth, and that He may not destroy the whole earth.
如今我兒，你既是信的人，就當起來向那榮耀之主懇求，使地上得存留餘剩，叫祂不將全地毀滅。
83:9
ወልድየ፡ እምሰማይ፡ ይሄሉ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዝ፡ ዲበ፡ ምድር፡ ወዲበ፡ ምድር፡ ይከውን፡ ሀጕል፡ ዐቢይ።
My son, from heaven all this will come upon the earth, and upon the earth there will be great destruction.
我兒，這一切都要從天降在地上，地上必有大毀滅。」
83:10
ወእምኔሁ፡ ተንሣእኩ፡ ወጸለይኩ፡ ወአስተብቋዕኩ፡ ወጸሎትየ፡ ጸሐፍኩ፡ ለትውልደ፡ ዓለም፡ ወኵሎ፡ አርአይኩከ፡ ወልድየ፡ ማቱሳላ።
After that I arose and prayed and implored and besought, and wrote down my prayer for the generations of the world, and I will show everything to thee, my son Methuselah.
於是我起來禱告、懇求、祈求，又把我的禱告為世上的後代記下；我兒瑪土撒拉啊，我要把這一切都指示你。
83:11
ወሶበ፡ ወፃእኩ፡ ታሕተ፡ ርኢክዎ፡ ለሰማይ፡ ወለፀሓይ፡ ይወፅእ፡ እምሥራቅ፡ ወወርኅ፡ ይወርድ፡ እምዕራብ፡ ወውኁዳት፡ ከዋክብት፡ ወኵሉ፡ ምድር፡ ወኵሎ፡ ዘአእመረ፡ ዲበ፡ ቀዳሚ፡ ወባረክዎ፡ ለእግዚአ፡ ኵነኔ፡ ወሎቱ፡ ወሀብኩ፡ ዕበየ፡ እስመ፡ አውፅአ፡ ፀሓየ፡ እመሳክወ፡ ምሥራቅ፡ ወአዕረገ፡ ወአሥረቀ፡ ዲበ፡ ገጸ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወተንሥአ፡ ወየሐውር፡ ፍኖት፡ እንተ፡ ተርእየት፡ ሎቱ።
And when I had gone forth below and seen the heaven, and the sun rising in the east, and the moon setting in the west, and a few stars, and the whole earth, and everything as †He had known† it in the beginning, then I blessed the Lord of judgement and extolled Him because He had made the sun to go forth from the windows of the east, †and he ascended and rose on the face of the heaven, and set out and kept traversing the path shown unto him.
當我出到外面，看見天，看見太陽從東方出來、月亮從西方落下、有幾顆星，並全地與起初祂所認定的一切時，我便稱頌那審判之主，將尊大歸與祂，因祂使太陽從東方的窗戶出來，上升並照耀在天面上，興起而行那向它顯明的路徑。
