42:1
ጥበብ፡ መካነ፡ ኢረከበት፡ ኀበ፡ ተኀድር፡ ወሀለወት፡ ማኅደራ፡ ውስተ፡ ሰማያት።
Wisdom found no place where she might dwell; Then a dwelling-place was assigned her in the heavens.
智慧找不到可居住的地方，於是她的住處被分派在諸天之上。
42:2
ወፅአት፡ ጥበብ፡ ከመ፡ ትኅድር፡ ውስተ፡ ውሉደ፡ ሰብእ፡ ወኢረከበት፡ ማኅደረ፡ ጥበብ፡ ውስተ፡ መካና፡ ገብአት፡ ወተጸዕነት፡ ማእከለ፡ መላእክት።
Wisdom went forth to make her dwelling among the children of men, And found no dwelling-place: Wisdom returned to her place, And took her seat among the angels.
智慧出來，要住在世人兒女中間，卻找不到住處；智慧便回到自己的地方，在眾天使中間坐下。
42:3
ወዐመፃ፡ ወፅአት፡ እመዛግብቲሃ፡ ዘኢፈቀደት፡ ረከበት፡ ወኀደረት፡ ውስቴቶሙ፡ ከመ፡ ዝናም፡ በበድው፡ ወከመ፡ ጠል፡ በምድር፡ ጽምእት።
And unrighteousness went forth from her chambers: Whom she sought not she found, And dwelt with them, As rain in a desert And dew on a thirsty land.
於是不義從她的庫房出來；她所未尋找的，她卻找著了，並與他們同住，如同曠野中的雨、乾旱之地的露。
