38:1
ምሳሌ፡ ቀዳሚ፡ ሶበ፡ ያስተርኢ፡ ማኅበረ፡ ጻድቃን፡ ወይትኴነኑ፡ ኃጥኣን፡ በኀጢአቶሙ፡ ወእምገጸ፡ የብስ፡ ይትሀወኩ።
The First Parable. When the congregation of the righteous shall appear, And sinners shall be judged for their sins, And shall be driven from the face of the earth:
第一個比喻：當義人的會眾顯現，罪人因自己的罪受審判，從地面上被趕逐之時；
38:2
ወሶበ፡ ያስተርኢ፡ ጻድቅ፡ በገጾሙ፡ ለጻድቃን፡ እለ፡ ኅሩያን፡ ተግባሮሙ፡ ስቁል፡ በእግዚአ፡ መናፍስት፡ ወያስተርኢ፡ ብርሃን፡ ለጻድቃን፡ ወለኅሩያን፡ እለ፡ የኀድሩ፡ ዲበ፡ የብስ፡ አይቴ፡ ማኅደረ፡ ኃጥኣን፡ ወአይቴ፡ ምዕራፎሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ክሕድዎ፡ ለእግዚአ፡ መናፍስት፡ እምኀየሶሙ፡ ሶበ፡ ኢተወልዱ።
And when the Righteous One shall appear before the eyes of the righteous, Whose elect works hang upon the Lord of Spirits, And light shall appear to the righteous and the elect who dwell on the earth, Where then will be the dwelling of the sinners, And where the resting-place of those who have denied the Lord of Spirits? It had been good for them if they had not been born.
當那義者在義人眼前顯現，就是那些蒙揀選、其工作懸於靈之主的義人；當光向住在地上的義人與蒙揀選者顯現之時，那麼罪人的住處在哪裡？那些否認靈之主之人的安息之所又在哪裡？他們倒不如未曾出生。
38:3
ወሶበ፡ ይትከሠታ፡ ኅቡኣቲሆሙ፡ ለጻድቃን፡ ይትኴነኑ፡ ኃጥኣን፡ ወይትሀወኩ፡ ረሲዓን፡ እምገጸ፡ ጻድቃን፡ ወኅሩያን።
When the secrets of the righteous shall be revealed and the sinners judged, And the godless driven from the presence of the righteous and elect,
當義人隱藏的事被揭露，罪人受審判，不敬虔之輩從義人與蒙揀選者面前被趕逐之時，
38:4
ወእምይእዜ፡ ኢይከውኑ፡ አዚዛነ፡ ወኢ፡ ልዑላነ፡ እለ፡ ይእኅዝዋ፡ ለምድር፡ ወኢይክሉ፡ ርእየ፡ ገጸ፡ ቅዱሳን፡ እስመ፡ ለእግዚአ፡ መናፍስት፡ ተርእየ፡ ብርሃኑ፡ ለገጸ፡ ቅዱሳን፡ ጻድቃን፡ ወኅሩያን።
From that time those that possess the earth shall no longer be powerful and exalted: And they shall not be able to behold the face of the holy, For the Lord of Spirits has caused His light to appear On the face of the holy, righteous, and elect.
從那時起，那些霸佔大地的，必不再有權勢、不再被高舉，也不能仰望聖者的面，因為靈之主已使祂的光照在聖潔、公義、蒙揀選之人的面上。
38:5
ወነገሥት፡ አዚዛን፡ በውእቱ፡ ጊዜ፡ ይትሀጐሉ፡ ወይትወሀቡ፡ ውስተ፡ እደ፡ ጻድቃን፡ ወቅዱሳን።
Then shall the kings and the mighty perish And be given into the hands of the righteous and holy.
那時，有權勢的君王要滅亡，被交在義人與聖者的手中。
38:6
ወእምህየ፡ አልቦ፡ ዘያስተምሕር፡ ሎሙ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚአ፡ ስብሐት፡ እስመ፡ ተወድአ፡ እንቲኣሆሙ፡ ሕይወት።
And thenceforward none shall seek for themselves mercy from the Lord of Spirits For their life is at an end.
從此以後，再沒有人能在榮耀之主那裡為他們求得憐憫，因為他們的生命已經了結。
