約伯記 第 14 章

14:1
መዋቲ፡ ዘይትለወድ፡ አምእንስት፡ ዘኅዳጥ፡ መዋዕሊሁ፡ ወምሉአ፡ መቅሠፍተ፡ መዓቱ።
人為婦人所生， 日子短少，多有患難；
“Man, who is born of a woman, is of few days, and full of trouble.
14:2
ወይፈሬ፡ ከመ፡ ጽጌ፡ ወይወድቅ፡ ወየኃልፍ፡ ከመ፡ ጽላሎች፡ ወኢይሄሉ፡ እንከ።
出來如花，又被割下， 飛去如影，不能存留。
He grows up like a flower, and is cut down. He also flees like a shadow, and doesn’t continue.
14:3
ለዝኒ፡ አንተ፡ ሐተትኮ፡ ወሎቱ፡ አባእኮ፡ ድቅሜክ፡ ይትዋቀሥ።
這樣的人你豈睜眼看他嗎？ 又叫我來受審嗎？
Do you open your eyes on such a one, and bring me into judgment with you?
14:4
ወመኑ፡ ይነጽሕ፡ እምርስሐት፡ ወኢመኑሂ፡ ወዘአሐተ፡ ሰዓተ፡ ሐይወ፡ በዲበ፡ ምድር፡፡ 5፡ እስመ፡ ኁሉቊ፡ አውራኂሁ፡ በኅቤከ፡ ወትሁቦ፡ ዕድሜሁ፡ ወኢየኃልፍ፡ አምኔሁ።
誰能使潔淨之物出於污穢之中呢？ 無論誰也不能！
Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.
14:6
ረኃቅ፡ እምኔሁ፡ ከመ፡ ያፅርፍ፡ ወይትዓቀባ፡ ለሕይወቱ፡ ከመ፡ ዓሳብ።
便求你轉眼不看他，使他得歇息， 直等他像雇工人完畢他的日子。
Look away from him, that he may rest, until he accomplishes, as a hireling, his day.
14:7
ለፅዕኒ፡ ቦቱ፡ ተስፋ፡ ተገዚሞ፡ ዳግመ፡ ይፈሪ፡ ወይሠርዕ፡ ወኃይሉሂ፡ ኢየኃልቅ።
樹若被砍下， 還可指望發芽， 嫩枝生長不息；
“For there is hope for a tree if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, that the tender branch of it will not cease.
14:8
ወእመሂ፡ ረስቦ፡ በውስተ፡ ምድር፡ ሥርው፡ ወእመኒ፡ ሞተ፡ በውስተ፡ ኰኵሕ፡ አዕዑቂሁ፡ እመአዛ፡ ማይ፡ ይሠርዕ፡ ወይፈሪ፡ ከመ፡ ተክል፡ ሐዲስ።
其根雖然衰老在地裏， 幹也死在土中，
Though its root grows old in the earth, and its stock dies in the ground,
14:9
ሰብእሰ፡ እምከመ፡ ሞተ፡ ይጸይፅ፡ ወእምከመ፡ ሞተ፡ መዋቲ፡ ኢይሄሎ፡ እንከ፡፡ 10፡ ለባሕርኒ፡ ቦ፡ ተስፋ፡ ሶበ፡ ይቀብል፡ ወፈለግኒ፡ ይነጽፍ፡ ወይየብስ።
及至得了水氣，還要發芽， 又長枝條，像新栽的樹一樣。
yet through the scent of water it will bud, and sprout boughs like a plant.
14:11
ሰብእሰ፡ አምከመ፡ ኖመ፡ ኢይነቅሕ፡ እንከ፡ እስከ፡ አመ፡ የኃልፍ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወይነቅሑ፡ እምንዋሞሙ።
海中的水絕盡， 江河消散乾涸。
As the waters fail from the sea, and the river wastes and dries up,
14:12
እምኅየሰኒ፡ ሶበ፡ ውስተ፡ መቃብር፡ ዓቀብከኒ፡ ወእምኃባ፡ አከኒ፡ እስከ፡ ወእምኃባ፡ አከኒ፡ ይቈርር፡ መዓትከ፡ ወእምቀብከኒ፡ አስከ፡ አመትዜከረኒ።
人也是如此，躺下不再起來， 等到天沒有了，仍不得復醒， 也不得從睡中喚醒。
so man lies down and doesn’t rise. Until the heavens are no more, they will not awake, nor be roused out of their sleep.
14:13
ሶበሁ፡ የሐዩ፡ ሰብእ፡ እምከመ፡ ሞተ፡ ፈጺሞ፡ መዋፅለ፡ ሕይወቱ፡ እምተዓገሥኩ፡ እስከ፡ አመ፡ እትወለድ፡ ዳግመ።
惟願你把我藏在陰間， 存於隱密處，等你的忿怒過去； 願你為我定了日期，記念我。
“Oh that you would hide me in Sheol, that you would keep me secret until your wrath is past, that you would appoint me a set time and remember me!
14:14
ወእምአውሣእኩስ፡ ጊዜ፡ ጸዋፅከኒ፡ ወኢትመንነኒ፡ ግብረ፡ እደዊከ፡፡ 15፡ ኈለቈኑ፡ ኃጣውእየ፡ ወአበሳየ፡ አሐተኔ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘረሳዕክ፡ ሊተ፡ ኃጢአትየ፡ ወአበሳየ።
人若死了豈能再活呢？ 我只要在我一切爭戰的日子， 等我被釋放 的時候來到。
If a man dies, will he live again? I would wait all the days of my warfare, until my release should come.
14:16
ወኅተምከ፡ ውስተ፡ ቊናማቲክ፡ ጌጋይየ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ዘአበስኩ፡ በላዕሌከ።
但如今你數點我的腳步， 豈不窺察我的罪過嗎？
But now you count my steps. Don’t you watch over my sin?
14:17
ከመ፡ ደብር፡ ዘንሀለ፡ ወዉድቀ፡ ወኰኵሕኒ፡ ይበሊ፡ በውስተ፡ ምንባሩ።
我的過犯被你封在囊中， 也縫嚴了我的罪孽。
My disobedience is sealed up in a bag. You fasten up my iniquity.
14:18
ወእብንኒ፡ ይለምጽ፡ እማይ፡ ወማይሂ፡ ይደፈን፡ በማእከለ፡ ምድር፡ ልዑል፡ ወአኅጐልከ፡ ትዕግሥቶ፡ ለሰብእ፡፡ 19፡ ወታአትቶ፡ ለዝሉፋ፡ ወይማን፡ ወሜጥከ፡ ገጻከ፡ ኅቤሁ፡ ወመሠጥኮ።
山崩變為無有； 磐石挪開原處。
“But the mountain falling comes to nothing. The rock is removed out of its place.
14:20
ወእመሄ፡ በዝኑ፡ ይቂቁ፡ ኢይሬእዮሙ፡ ወእመኒ፡ ኅዳጣን፡ ኢየእምሮሙ።
你攻擊人常常得勝，使他去世； 你改變他的容貌，叫他往而不回。
You forever prevail against him, and he departs. You change his face, and send him away.
14:21
ዳእሙ፡ ሥጋሁ፡ ይማስን፡ ወነፍሱስ፡ ለሕይወት።
他兒子得尊榮，他也不知道， 降為卑，他也不覺得。
His sons come to honor, and he doesn’t know it. They are brought low, but he doesn’t perceive it of them.
