42:1
ወተሠጥዎ፡ ኢዮብ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወይቤ።
約伯回答耶和華說：
Then Job answered Yahweh:
42:2
አእምሮ፡ አአምር፡ ከመ፡ ኵሎ፡ ትክል፡ ወኵሉ፡ ይትከሀለከ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይሰአነከ።
我知道，你萬事都能做； 你的旨意不能攔阻。
“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.
42:3
መኑ፡ ውእቱ፡ ዘየህብአከ፡ ምክረ፡ ወዘይምህከ፡ ነገር፡ ውስተ፡ ልቡ፡ ወእምኔጀኑ፡ ዘይሤውር፡ ይመስሎ፡ ወመኑ፡ ይነግረኒ፡ ዘኢየአምር፡ ዓቢያተ፡ መንክራት፡ ዘኢርኢኩ።
誰用無知的言語使你的旨意隱藏呢？ 我所說的是我不明白的； 這些事太奇妙，是我不知道的。
You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ therefore I have uttered that which I didn’t understand, things too wonderful for me, which I didn’t know.
42:4
ስምዐኒ፡ እንግርከ፡ እግዚእየ፡ አነ፡ እሴእለከ፡ ወአንተ፡ መሀረኒ።
求你聽我，我要說話； 我問你，求你指示我。
You said, ‘Listen, now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.’
42:5
ሰሚዐሰ፡ ሰማዕኩ፡ ቅድመ፡ በዕዝንየ፡ ወይእዜሰ፡ ርኢኩከ፡ በአዕይንትየ።
我從前風聞有你， 現在親眼看見你。
I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.
42:6
ወባሕቱ፡ በዘተዛለፍኩ፡ ተመሰውኩ፡ አአምር፡ አነ፡ ከመ፡ መሬት፡ ወሐመድ፡ ርእስየ።
因此我厭惡自己 ， 在塵土和爐灰中懊悔。
Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”
42:7
ወእምድኅረ፡ ተናገሮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኢዮብ፡ ዘንተ፡ ነገረ፡ ይቤሎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኤልፋዝ፡ ቴሜናዊ፡ አበስክሙ፡ አንተ፡ ወክልኤቱ፡ አዕርክቲከ፡ እስመ፡ ኢተናገርክሙ፡ ጽድቀ፡ በቅድሜየ፡ ከመ፡ ቊልዔየ፡ ኢዮብ፡ ወኢአሐተኒ።
耶和華對約伯說話以後，就對提幔人以利法說：「我的怒氣向你和你兩個朋友發作，因為你們議論我不如我的僕人約伯說的是。
It was so, that after Yahweh had spoken these words to Job, Yahweh said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.
42:8
ወይእዜኒ፡ ንሥኡ፡ ሰብዓተ፡ አልሕምተ፡ ወሰብዓተ፡ አባግዐ፡ ወሑሩ፡ ኀበ፡ ቊልዔየ፡ ኢዮብ፡ ወይግበር፡ መሥዋዕተ፡ ወኢዮብ፡ ቊልዔየ፡ ይጸሊ፡ በእንቲአክሙ፡ እምገጸዚአሁ፡ እነሥአ፡ ወሶበ፡ አኮ፡ በእንቲአሁ፡ እምቀተልኩክሙ፡ እስመ፡ ኢነበብክሙ፡ ርትዐ፡ ላዕለ፡ ቊልዔየ፡ ኢዮብ።
現在你們要取七隻公牛，七隻公羊，到我僕人約伯那裏去，為自己獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就為你們祈禱。我因悅納他，就不按你們的愚妄辦你們。你們議論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的是。」
Now therefore, take to yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept him, that I not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.”
42:9
ወሖሩ፡ ኤልፋዝ፡ ቴሜናዊ፡ ወበልዳዶስ፡ አውኬናዊ፡ ወሳፍር፡ አሜናዊ፡ ወገብሩ፡ በከመ፡ አዘዞሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወሠረየ፡ ሎሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኃጢአቶሙ፡ በእንተ፡ ኢዮብ።
於是提幔人以利法、書亞人比勒達、拿瑪人瑣法照着耶和華所吩咐的去行；耶和華就悅納約伯。
So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what Yahweh commanded them, and Yahweh accepted Job.
42:10
ወአሕየዎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኢዮብ፡ ወጸለየ፡ በእንተ፡ አዕርክቲሁ፡ ወኀደግ፡ ሎሙ፡ ኃጢአቶሙ፡ ወወሀቦ፡ ኵሎ፡ ንዋዮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኢዮብ፡ ካዕበተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ንዋዩ፡ እምዘቀዲሙ፡ ወአመክዓበ፡ ሎቱ።
約伯為他的朋友祈禱。耶和華就使約伯從苦境 轉回，並且耶和華賜給他的比他從前所有的加倍。
Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.
42:11
ወሰምዑ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ አኀዊሁ፡ ወአኃቲሁ፡ ዘረከቦ፡ ወመጽኡ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ የአምርዎ፡ ቀዲሙ፡ ወበልዑ፡ ወሰትዩ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ወአስተፈሥሕዎ፡ ወአንከሩ፡ በእንተ፡ ኵኩ፡ ዘአምጽአ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ወወህቦሙ፡ ለለአሐዱ፡ ጽምደ፡ አልሕምት፡ ወርቀ፡ ወብሩረ፡ በመድሎት፡ ዘዲድርክሜ፡ አርባዕተ።
約伯的弟兄、姊妹，和以先所認識的人都來見他，在他家裏一同吃飯；又論到耶和華所降與他的一切災禍，都為他悲傷安慰他。每人也送他一塊銀子和一個金環。
Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been of his acquaintance before, came to him and ate bread with him in his house. They comforted him, and consoled him concerning all the evil that Yahweh had brought on him. Everyone also gave him a piece of money, and everyone a ring of gold.
42:12
ወባረከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኢዮብ፡ ደኀሪቶ፡ እምቀዲሙ፡ ወእንስሳሁኒ፡ እልፍ፡ ወአርባዓ፡ ምእት፡ ወአባግዒሁኒ፡ ስሳምእት፡ ጽምደ፡ አልሕምቱሁኒ፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወአእዱ፡ ጊሁኒ፡ አእኑስ፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወአግማሊሁኒ፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ምእት።
這樣，耶和華後來賜福給約伯比先前更多。他有一萬四千羊，六千駱駝，一千對牛，一千母驢。
So Yahweh blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys.
42:13
ወተወልዱ፡ ሎቱ፡ ሰባዓቱ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ወሠላስ፡ አዋልድ።
他也有七個兒子，三個女兒。
He had also seven sons and three daughters.
42:14
ወሰመያ፡ ለቀዳሚት፡ ዕለት፡ (ፀሐይ)፡ ወለካልእታ፡ ቃስያስ፡ ወለሣልስታ፡ አሜልትያስቂራስ።
他給長女起名叫耶米瑪，次女叫基洗亞，三女叫基連‧哈樸。
He called the name of the first, Jemimah; and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren Happuch.
42:15
ወኢተረክባ፡ ሠናያተ፡ በታሕተ፡ ሰማይ፡ ከመ፡ አዋልደ፡ ኢዮብ፡ ወወሀቦን፡ አቦሖን፡ ርስቶን፡ ምስለ፡ አኃዊሆን።
在那全地的婦女中找不着像約伯的女兒那樣美貌。她們的父親使她們在弟兄中得產業。
In all the land were no women found so beautiful as the daughters of Job. Their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.
42:16
ወሐይወ፡ ኢዮብ፡ እምድኅረ፡ ቅሥፈቱ፡ ምእተ፡ ወሰብዐ፡ ክረምተ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ዘሐይወ፡ ክልኤቱ፡ ምእት፡ አርባዓ፡ ወሰመንቱ፡ ዓመት፡ ወርእየ፡ ደቆቆ፡ ወደቂቁ፡ ደቂቁ፡ እስከ፡ ራብዕ፡ ትውልድ።
此後，約伯又活了一百四十年，得見他的兒孫，直到四代。
After this Job lived one hundred forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, to four generations.
42:17
ወሞተ፡ ኢዮብ፡ ልሂቆ፡ ወፈጺሞ፡ መዋዕሊሁ።
這樣，約伯年紀老邁，日子滿足而死。
So Job died, being old and full of days.
42:18
ወጽሐፍ፡ ከመ፡ ይትነሣእ፡ ካዕበ፡ ምስለ፡ እለ፡ ያነሥኦሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
這樣，約伯年紀老邁，日子滿足而死。
So Job died, being old and full of days.
42:19
ወከመዝ፡ ትርጓሜሁ፡ መጽሐፈ፡ ሶርያ፡ ወብሔሩሰ፡ ኀበ፡ ይነብር፡ አውስጢድ፡ ዘደወለ፡ ኤዶምያስ፡ ዘዓረብ።
這樣，約伯年紀老邁，日子滿足而死。
So Job died, being old and full of days.
42:20
ወሰመይዎ፡ ሰሞ፡ ኢዮባብ፡ ወአውሰበ፡ ብእሲ፡ ዓረባዊተ፡ ወወለደት፡ ሎቱ፡ ወልደ፡ ዘስሙ፡ ኄኖን፡ ወውእቱ፡ ኢዮብ፡ አቡሁ፡ ዛራ፡ ወእሙ፡ ባሱራስ፡ ወኃምስ፡ ውእቱ፡ እምአብሃም።
這樣，約伯年紀老邁，日子滿足而死。
So Job died, being old and full of days.
42:21
ወእሉ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ነገሥታት፡ እለ፡ ነግሡ፡ በኤዶም።
這樣，約伯年紀老邁，日子滿足而死。

42:22
ወውእቱ፡ ጐነነ፡ በሐውርተ፡ ቃዳሚ፡ ባላቅ፡ ወልደ፡ ቢዖር፡ ወስመ፡ ሀገሩ፡ ዲናብ።
這樣，約伯年紀老邁，日子滿足而死。
So Job died, being old and full of days.
42:23
ወእድኅረ፡ ባላቅ፡ ኢዮባብ፡ ዘስሙ፡ ኢዮብ፡ ወእምድኅሬሁ፡ አሦም፡ ዘነግሠ፡ ለብሔረ፡ ቴማን፡ 24፡ ወእምድኅሬሁ፡ አዳድ፡ ወልዳ፡ በራድ፡ ዘቀተሎሙ፡ ለምድያም፡ በሕቅለ፡ ሞዓብ፡ ወስመ፡ ሀገሩ፡ ጌቴም።
這樣，約伯年紀老邁，日子滿足而死。
So Job died, being old and full of days.
42:25
ወእለሂ፡ መጽኡ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ አዕርክቲሁ፡ ኤልፋዝ፡ ዘእምደቂቀ፡ ኤሳው፡ ንጉሠ፡ ቴሜኖን፡ ወበልዳዶስ፡ መስፍነ፡ አውኬኔዎን፡ ወሳፍር፡ ንጉሠ፡ አሜኔዎን።
這樣，約伯年紀老邁，日子滿足而死。
So Job died, being old and full of days.
