約伯記 第 4 章

4:1
ወእደ፡ ተናገረ፡ ኤልፋዝ፡ ቴሜናዊ፡ ተሠጥወ።
提幔人以利法回答說：
Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered,
4:2
ወይቤ፡ ኢታብዝኅ፡ ነቢበ፡ እንዘ፡ አንተ፡ በፃማ፡ አብዝኆ፡ ነገር፡ ምንት፡ ይበቊዓከ።
人若想與你說話，你就厭煩嗎？ 但誰能忍住不說呢？
“If someone ventures to talk with you, will you be grieved? But who can withhold himself from speaking?
4:3
አንተ፡ ዘእምገሠዕኮሙ፡ ለብዙኀን፡ ወእምናዘዝከ፡ እደወ፡ ድኩማነ።
你素來教導許多的人， 又堅固軟弱的手。
Behold, you have instructed many, you have strengthened the weak hands.
4:4
ወእምአንሣእኮሙ፡ በነገርከ፡ ለድውያን፡ ወእምአጽናዕከ፡ ብርከ፡ ስኡናን።
你的言語曾扶助那將要跌倒的人； 你又使軟弱的膝穩固。
Your words have supported him who was falling, you have made the feeble knees firm.
4:5
ወይእዜሰ፡ እስመ፡ መጽአከ፡ ሕማም፡ ወገሠሠከ፡ ለከ፡ ለሊከ፡ ተአንብዝ፡ ገባእከ፡ እንከ፡፡
但現在禍患臨到你，你就昏迷， 挨近你，你便驚惶。
But now it has come to you, and you faint. It touches you, and you are troubled.
4:6
ቀዳሚሁ፡ አኮኑ፡ ዕበድ፡ ውእቱ፡ ፍርሃትከ፡ ወተስፋከ፡ ወእኩይ፡ ፍኖትከ።
你的倚靠不是在你敬畏上帝嗎？ 你的盼望不是在你行事純正嗎？
Isn’t your piety your confidence? Isn’t the integrity of your ways your hope?
4:7
ተዘከር፡ ከመ፡ አልቦ፡ ንጽሕ፡ ዘተኃጕለወኢይጠፍኡ፡ ጻድቃን፡ ወኢይሤረዉ።
請你追想：無辜的人有誰滅亡？ 正直的人在何處剪除？
“Remember, now, who ever perished, being innocent? Or where were the upright cut off?
4:8
ወበከመሰ፡ ርኢነ፡ እለ፡ የሐርስዎ፡ ለኃጢአት፡ ወይዘርእዎ፡ ጠአርሩ፡ መቅሠፍት፡ ሎሙ።
按我所見，耕罪孽、種毒害的人 都照樣收割。
According to what I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble, reap the same.
4:9
ወይትኀጐ፡ በትእዛዘ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወይማስኑ፡ በመቅሠፍተ፡ መዓቱ።
上帝一出氣，他們就滅亡； 上帝一發怒，他們就消沒。
By the breath of God they perish. By the blast of his anger are they consumed.
4:10
ጣኅረ፡ አንበሳ፡ ወንቃወ፡ አንበሳዊት፡ ወግርማ፡ አክይስት፡ ጠፍአ።
獅子的吼叫和猛獅的聲音盡都止息； 少壯獅子的牙齒也都敲掉。
The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, the teeth of the young lions, are broken.
4:11
ወስኳእትኒ፡ ኃልቀ፡ ኃጢኦ፡ ዘይበልዕ፡ ወእጕለ፡ አናብስት፡ ተኃለቁ፡ በበይናቲሆሙ፡፡ 12፡ ሶበሰ፡ አሐተ፡ ጽድቀ፡ ገበርከ፡ አንተ፡ ዝ፡ ኵሉ፡ እምኢረ፡ ከበከ፡ በኀቤየ፡ ነገር፡ ይትነሣእ፡ ወትሰምዕ፡ ዕዝንየ፡ ቃለ፡ እምኔሁ፡ ቀዳሚሁኒ፡ ኢየአምኖ፡ ለዘነገረኒ።
老獅子因絕食而死； 母獅之子也都離散。
The old lion perishes for lack of prey. The cubs of the lioness are scattered abroad.
4:13
ግርማ፡ ሌሊት፡ ወመጽዓሞ፡ ይመጽኦ፡ ለሰብእ፡ ግብተ።
在思念夜中、異象之間， 世人沉睡的時候，
In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men,
4:14
ፍርሃት፡ ደፈነኒ፡ ድንጋፄ፡ ወረዓድ፡ አኀዘኒ፡ ወበሕቁ፡ አንተ፡ ልቀላ፡ አዕፅምትየ።
恐懼、戰兢臨到我身， 使我百骨打戰。
fear came on me, and trembling, which made all my bones shake.
4:15
ወኃለፈት፡ ነፍስየ፡ እምገጽየ፡ ወአንሶጠጠኒ፡ ሥዕርተ፡ ርእስየ፡ ወሥጋየ።
有靈從我面前經過， 我身上的毫毛直立。
Then a spirit passed before my face. The hair of my flesh stood up.
4:16
ተንሣእኩ፡ ወኢያእመርኩከ፡ ነጸርኩከ፡ ወኢጠየቁከ፡ ወአልብከ፡ ራዕይ፡ ቅድመ፡ አዕይንትየ፡ ዳእሙ፡ ጽላሎተከ፡ እሬኢ፡ ወቃለከ፡ እሰምዕ።
那靈停住， 我卻不能辨其形狀； 有影像在我眼前。 我在靜默中聽見有聲音說：
It stood still, but I couldn’t discern its appearance. A form was before my eyes. Silence, then I heard a voice, saying,
4:17
ወባሕቱ፡ አይኑ፡ ውስተ፡ መዋቲ፡ ዘይነጽሕ፡ በቅድመ፡ እግዚብሔር፡ ወአይኑ፡ ሰብእ፡ ዘይጸድቅ፡ በምግባሩ።
必死的人豈能比上帝公義嗎？ 人豈能比造他的主潔淨嗎？
‘Shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than his Maker?
4:18
ለላእካኒሁ፡ ጥቀ፡ ኢይትአመኖሙ፡ ወለመላእክቲሁኒ፡ ፅዑበ፡ ይትሔዘቦሙ።
主不信靠他的臣僕， 並且指他的使者為愚昧；
Behold, he puts no trust in his servants. He charges his angels with error.
4:19
ወለእለ፡ ይነብሩ፡ ውስተ፡ አብያተ፡ መሬት፡ ወንሕነኒ፡ እም፡ ውስተ፡ አሐዱ፡ ዕቡር፡ ወይረክቦሙ፡ ብልዓተ፡ ዕፄ፡ ወኢይሔልዩ፡ እምነግህ፡ እሰከ፡ ሠርክ።
何況那住在土房、根基在塵土裏、 被蠹蟲所毀壞的人呢？
How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed before the moth!
4:20
ወኢይሄልዉ፡ እምነግህ፡ እስከ፡ ሠርክ፡ እስመ፡ ስእኑ፡ አድኅኖ፡ ወረዲአ፡ ርእሶሙ፡ ተኃጕሉ።
早晚之間，就被毀滅， 永歸無有，無人理會。
Between morning and evening they are destroyed. They perish forever without any regarding it.
4:21
ወነፍሖሙ፡ ነፋስ፡ ወየብሱ፡ ወይትኃጐሉ፡ እስመ፡ አልቦሙ፡ ጥበብ።
他帳棚的繩索豈不從中抽出來呢？ 他死，且是無智慧而死。
Isn’t their tent cord plucked up within them? They die, and that without wisdom.’
