24:1

Κατανοήσωμεν, ἀγαπητοί, πῶς ὁ δεσπότης ἐπιδείκνυται διηνεκῶς ἡμῖν τὴν μέλλουσαν ἀνάστασιν ἔσεσθαι, ἧς τὴν ἀπαρχὴν ἐποιήσατο τὸν κύριον Ἰησοῦν Χριστὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν ἀναστήσας

親愛的，讓我們思想：主怎樣不斷向我們顯明那將要來的復活，祂已使主耶穌基督從死裡復活，作了這復活的初熟果子。

Let us consider, beloved, how the Master continually shows us the resurrection that is to come, of which He made the Lord Jesus Christ the firstfruits by raising Him from the dead.

24:2

ἴδωμεν, ἀγαπητοί. τὴν κατὰ καιρὸν γινομένην ἀνάστασιν

親愛的，讓我們觀看那按時節發生的復活。

Let us behold, beloved, the resurrection that takes place season by season.

24:3

ἡμέρα καὶ νὺξ ἀνάστασιν ἡμῖν δηλοῦσιν: κοιμᾶται ἡ νύξ, ἀνίσταται ἡ ἡμέρα: ἡ ἡμέρα ἄπεισιν, νὺξ ἐπέρχεται

晝夜向我們宣告一種復活：夜睡去，日就起來；日離去，夜又來臨。

Day and night declare to us a resurrection: the night falls asleep, the day arises; the day departs, the night comes on.

24:4

λάβωμεν τοὺς καρπούς: ὁ σπόρος πῶς καὶ τίνα τρόπον γίνεται

讓我們看看農作物：那撒種的事是如何、以何種方式發生的呢？

Let us take the crops: how and in what manner does the sowing come about?

24:5

ἐξῆλθεν ὁ σπείρων καὶ ἔβαλεν εἰς τὴν γῆν ἕκαστον τῶν σπερμάτων, ἅτινα πεσόντα εἰς τὴν γῆν ξηρὰ καὶ γυμνὰ διαλύεται: εἶτ̓ ἐκ τῆς διαλύσεως ἡ μεγαλειότης τῆς προνοίας τοῦ δεσπότου ἀνίστησιν αὐτά, καὶ ἐκ τοῦ ἑνὸς πλείονα αὔξει καὶ ἐκφέρει καρπόν

「撒種的出去」，把各樣的種子撒在地裡，這些種子枯乾赤裸地落在地裡，就朽壞了；然後主那偉大的眷顧便從這朽壞中使它們復生，從一粒生出許多，並結出果實。

"The sower went forth" and cast into the ground each of the seeds, which, falling into the ground dry and bare, decay; then out of their decay the greatness of the Master's providence raises them up, and from the one grows many and brings forth fruit.
