Οὐχὶ τὸ μέτρον, ἀλλὰ τὰ μέτρα, ἵνα τὰς διαφορὰς τῆς γῆς παραστήσῃ τῆς τόδε τι τυχὸν φερούσης καὶ τῆς ἕτερόν τι. καὶ ἄλλης ἄλλο
他說的不是「那量度」，乃是「那些量度」——好顯明地土的種種差異，這塊偶然出產這物，那塊出產別物，這土產這，那土產那。
Not 'the measure,' but 'the measures'—so as to set forth the differences of the earth, the one chancing to bear this thing and the other something else, and one soil yielding one thing, another another.
