And it came to pass on the day when Moses finished setting up the tabernacle, that he anointed it and sanctified it and all its utensils, and the altar and all its utensils; and he anointed them and sanctified them.

And the rulers of Israel brought offerings, twelve rulers of their ancestral houses; these were the rulers of the tribes, these were those who stood over the numbering.

And they brought their gifts before the Lord: six covered wagons and twelve oxen, a wagon from every two rulers and a calf from each one; and they brought them before the tabernacle.

And the Lord said to Moses, saying:

Take them from them, and they shall be for the ministering works of the tent of witness; and you shall give them to the Levites, to each according to his own ministry.

And Moses took the wagons and the oxen and gave them to the Levites.

The two wagons and the four oxen he gave to the sons of Gedson, according to their ministries;

and the four wagons and the eight oxen he gave to the sons of Merari, according to their ministries, through Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

But to the sons of Kaath he gave none, because they have the services of the holy place: they carry upon their shoulders.

And the rulers brought offerings for the dedication of the altar on the day he anointed it; and the rulers brought their gifts before the altar.

And the Lord said to Moses: One ruler each day, a ruler each day, they shall bring their gifts for the dedication of the altar.

And the one who offered his gift on the first day was Naasson son of Aminadab, ruler of the tribe of Iouda.

And he brought his gift: one silver dish, a hundred and thirty its weight; one silver bowl of seventy shekels, according to the holy shekel; both full of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering;

one censer of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one male lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid of the goats for a sin offering;

and for a sacrifice of peace offering: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe lambs a year old. This was the gift of Naasson son of Aminadab.

On the second day Nathanael son of Sogar, ruler of the tribe of Issachar, brought his offering.

And he brought his gift: one silver dish, a hundred and thirty its weight; one silver bowl of seventy shekels, according to the holy shekel; both full of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering;

one censer of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one male lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid of the goats for a sin offering;

and for a sacrifice of peace offering: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe lambs a year old. This was the gift of Nathanael son of Sogar.

On the third day, the ruler of the sons of Zaboulon, Eliab son of Chailon.

His gift: one silver dish, its weight a hundred and thirty; one silver bowl of seventy shekels by the holy shekel; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a sacrifice;

one incense dish of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid from the goats for sin;

and for a sacrifice of deliverance: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe-lambs a year old. This was the gift of Eliab son of Chailon.

On the fourth day, the ruler of the sons of Rouben, Elisour son of Sediour.

His gift: one silver dish, its weight a hundred and thirty; one silver bowl of seventy shekels by the holy shekel; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a sacrifice;

one incense dish of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid from the goats for sin;

and for a sacrifice of deliverance: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe-lambs a year old. This was the gift of Elisour son of Sediour.

On the fifth day, the ruler of the sons of Symeon, Salamiel son of Sourisadai.

His gift: one silver dish, its weight a hundred and thirty; one silver bowl of seventy shekels by the holy shekel; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a sacrifice;

one incense dish of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid from the goats for sin;

and for a sacrifice of deliverance: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe-lambs a year old. This was the gift of Salamiel son of Sourisadai.

On the sixth day, the ruler of the sons of Gad, Elisaph son of Ragouel.

His gift: one silver dish, its weight a hundred and thirty; one silver bowl of seventy shekels by the holy shekel; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a sacrifice;

one incense dish of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid from the goats for sin;

and for a sacrifice of deliverance: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe-lambs a year old. This was the gift of Elisaph son of Ragouel.

On the seventh day, the ruler of the sons of Ephraim, Elisama son of Emioud.

His gift: one silver dish, its weight a hundred and thirty; one silver bowl of seventy shekels by the holy shekel; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a sacrifice;

one incense dish of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid from the goats for sin;

and for a sacrifice of deliverance: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe-lambs a year old. This was the gift of Elisama son of Emioud.

On the eighth day, the ruler of the sons of Manasse, Gamaliel son of Phadassour.

His gift: one silver dish, its weight a hundred and thirty; one silver bowl of seventy shekels by the holy shekel; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a sacrifice;

one incense dish of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid from the goats for sin;

and for a sacrifice of deliverance: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe-lambs a year old. This was the gift of Gamaliel son of Phadassour.

On the ninth day, the ruler of the sons of Beniamin, Abidan son of Gadeoni.

His gift: one silver dish, its weight a hundred and thirty; one silver bowl of seventy shekels by the holy shekel; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a sacrifice;

one incense dish of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid from the goats for sin;

and for a sacrifice of deliverance: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe-lambs a year old. This was the gift of Abidan son of Gadeoni.

On the tenth day, the ruler of the sons of Dan, Achiezer son of Amisadai.

His gift: one silver dish, its weight a hundred and thirty; one silver bowl of seventy shekels by the holy shekel; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a sacrifice;

one incense dish of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid from the goats for sin;

and for a sacrifice of deliverance: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe-lambs a year old. This was the gift of Achiezer son of Amisadai.

On the eleventh day, the ruler of the sons of Aser, Phagaiel son of Echran.

His gift: one silver dish, its weight a hundred and thirty; one silver bowl of seventy shekels by the holy shekel; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a sacrifice;

one incense dish of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid from the goats for sin;

and for a sacrifice of deliverance: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe-lambs a year old. This was the gift of Phagaiel son of Echran.

On the twelfth day, the ruler of the sons of Nephthali, Achire son of Ainan.

His gift: one silver dish, its weight a hundred and thirty; one silver bowl of seventy shekels by the holy shekel; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a sacrifice;

one incense dish of ten gold pieces, full of incense;

one calf from the herd, one ram, one lamb a year old, for a whole burnt offering;

and one kid from the goats for sin;

and for a sacrifice of deliverance: two heifers, five rams, five he-goats, five ewe-lambs a year old. This was the gift of Achire son of Ainan.

This was the dedication of the altar, on the day he anointed it, from the rulers of the sons of Israel: twelve silver dishes, twelve silver bowls, twelve gold incense dishes.

A hundred and thirty shekels the one dish, and seventy shekels the one bowl; all the silver of the vessels was two thousand four hundred shekels by the holy shekel.

Twelve gold incense dishes, full of incense; all the gold of the incense dishes was a hundred and twenty gold pieces.

All the cattle for a whole burnt offering: twelve calves, twelve rams, twelve lambs a year old, with their sacrifices and their drink offerings; and twelve kids from the goats for sin.

All the cattle for a sacrifice of deliverance: twenty-four heifers, sixty rams, sixty he-goats, sixty ewe-lambs a year old, without blemish. This was the dedication of the altar, after the filling of his hands and after he was anointed.

When Moses went into the tent of witness to speak with him, he also heard the voice of the Lord speaking to him from above the propitiatory that is upon the ark of the witness, between the two cherubim; and he spoke to him.
