16:1
ወበሠርቀ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ራብዕ ፡ አስተርአይናሁ ፡ ለአብርሃም ፡ በኀበ ፡ ድርስ ፡ ዘማምሪም ፡ ወተናገርነ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ ወንሕነ ፡ አይዳዕናሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይትወሀቦ ፡ ወልድ ፡ እምሳራ ፡ ብእሲቱ ።
在第四月月朔，我們在幔利的橡樹那裏向亞伯拉罕顯現，與他說話，我們告訴他，他的妻子撒拉必給他生一個兒子。
Bridegrooms wore wreaths, but the custom was later abolished. See further Introduction, p. xx f. 106:4 Cf. 16:2
ወሰሐቀት ፡ ሳራ ፡ እስመ ፡ ሰምዐት ፡ ከመ ፡ ተናገርነ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ምስለ ፡ አብርሃም ።
撒拉聽見我們把這話對亞伯拉罕說，就暗笑。
And Sarah laughed, for she heard that we had spoken this word with Abraham.
16:3
ወነገርናሃ ፡ ስሞ ፡ ለወልዳ ፡ በከመ ፡ ሥሩዕ ፡ ወጽሑፍ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽላተ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ይስሐቅ ።
我們把她兒子的名告訴她，照天上法版所定規並所記的，叫以撒。
And we told her the name of her son, as it is ordained and written on the heavenly tablets: Isaac.
16:4
ወአመ ፡ ገባእነ ፡ ኀቤሃ ፡ በጊዜ ፡ ሰዓት ፡ ወይእቲኒ ፡ ፀንሰት ፡ ወልደ ።
我們又說，到了所定的時候我們再回到她這裏時，她必已懷了一個兒子。
And (that) when we returned to her at a set time, she would have conceived a son.
16:5
ወበዝ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ገብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኵነኔሆሙ ፡ ለሰዶም ፡ ወለገሞራ ፡ ወሶቦኤም ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ አድያመ ፡ ዮርዳኖስ ፡ ወአውዓዮሙ ፡ በእሳት ፡ ወበተይ ፡ ወአጥፍኦሙ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ዕለት ።
在這月，主向所多瑪、蛾摩拉、洗扁和約但全境施行審判，用火和硫磺把它們焚燒，毀滅它們，直到今日。
And in this month the Lord executed his judgments on Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Zeboim, 4 and all the region of the Jordan, and He burned them with fire and birnstone, and destroyed them until this day, even as [lo ] I have declared unto thee all their works, that they are wicked and sinners exceedingly, and that they defile themselves and commit fornication in their flesh, and work uncleanness on the earth.
16:6
ወከማሁ ፡ ይገብር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ በመካናት ፡ በውእደ ፡ ይገብሩ ፡ በከመ ፡ ይኵሶሙ ፡ ለሰዶም ፡ ከመ ፡ ኵነኔሃ ፡ ለሰዶም ።
照樣，神也必在那些行所多瑪人污穢之事的地方施行審判，正如祂審判所多瑪一樣。
And, in like manner, God will execute judgment on the places where they have done according to the uncleanness of the Sodomites, like unto the judgment of Sodom.
16:7
ወለሎጥ ፡ ናድኅኖ ፡ እስመ ፡ ተዘከሮ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለአብርሃም ፡ ወአውፅኦ ፡ እማእከለ ፡ ግፍታኤ ።
惟有羅得我們救了出來，因為神記念亞伯拉罕，便差他從那傾覆之中出來。
But Lot we saved; for God remembered Abraham, and sent him out from the midst of the overthrow.
16:8
ወገብረ ፡ ውእቱኒ ፡ ወአዋልዲሁኒ ፡ ኀጢአተ ፡ በዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ዘኢኮነ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡ እመዋዕለ ፡ አዳም ፡ እስከ ፡ አሜሁ ፡ እስመ ፡ ሰከበ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ወለቱ ፡ 9 ወናሁ ፡ ተአዘዘ ፡ ወተቈርፀ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘርኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽላተ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያእትቶሙ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ይሠርዎሙ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ይግበር ፡ ኵነኔሆሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ ሰዶም ፡ ወከመ ፡ ኢያትርፍ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘርአ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ዘሰብእ ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ደይን ።
羅得和他的女兒們在地上犯了罪，是自亞當的日子以來地上未曾有過的，因為那人與他的女兒同寢。看哪，這已被吩咐並刻定在天上的法版上，要除滅他們、剷除他們，照所多瑪所受的審判審判他們，使他在審判之日，地上不留下任何屬人的後裔。
And he and his daughters committed sin upon the earth, such as had not been on the earth since the days of Adam till his time; for the man lay with his daughters.
16:10
ወአዝንቱ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ግዕዘ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ እምነ ፡ ኬብሮን ፡ ወሖረ ፡ ወኀደረ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ቃዴስ ፡ ወሱር ፡ ውስተ ፡ አድባረ ፡ ጌራሮን ፡ 11 ወበመንፈቀ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ኃምስ ፡ ግዕዘ ፡ እምህየ ፡ ወኀደረ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ዐዘቅተ ፡ መሐላ ።
在這月，亞伯拉罕從希伯崙遷移，前去住在加低斯與書珥之間，在基拉耳的眾山中。在第五月月中，他從那裏遷移，住在誓言之井那裏。
And in this month Abraham moved from Hebron, and departed and dwelt between Kadesh and Shur in the mountains of Gerar.
16:12
ወበመንፈቀ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ሳድስ ፡ ሐወጸ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሳራ ፡ ወገብረ ፡ ላቲ ፡ በከመ ፡ ይቤ ፡ 13 ወፀንሰት ፡ ወወለደት ፡ ወልደ ፡ በወርኅ ፡ ሣልስ ፡ ወበመንፈቀ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ በመዋዕል ፡ ዘይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለአብርሃም ፡ በበዓለ ፡ ቀዳሚ ፡ ማእረር ፡ ተወልደ ፡ ይስሐቅ ፡ 14 ወከሰቦ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ወልደ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ሰሙን ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ቀዳሚ ፡ ተከስበ ፡ በከመ ፡ ኪዳን ፡ እንተ ፡ ተሠርዐት ፡ ለዓለም ።
在第六月月中，主眷顧撒拉，照祂所說的待她。她就懷孕，在第三月月中生了一個兒子，正是主在初熟收割之節對亞伯拉罕所說的日子，以撒就出生了。亞伯拉罕在以撒生下第八日給他行了割禮，他是頭一個照那永遠定立之約受割禮的。
And in the middle of the sixth month the Lord visited Sarah and did to her as he had said. And she conceived and bore a son in the third month, and in the middle of the month, at the time the Lord had told Abraham, at the feast of the firstfruits of the harvest, Isaac was born. And Abraham circumcised his son when he was eight days old; he was the first to be circumcised according to the covenant which was ordained for ever.
16:15
ወበዓመት ፡ ሳድስ ፡ ዘሱባዔ ፡ ራብዕ ፡ መጻእነ ፡ ኀበ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ኀበ ፡ ዐዘቅተ ፡ መሐላ ፡ ወአስተርአይናሁ ፡ በከመ ፡ ንቤላ ፡ ለሳራ ፡ ከመ ፡ ንግባእ ፡ ኀቤሃ ፡ ወይእቲሂ ፡ ፀንሰት ፡ ወልደ ፡ 16 ወተመየጥነ ፡ በወርኅ ፡ ሳብዕ ፡ ወረከብናሃ ፡ ለሳራ ፡ ፅንስተ ፡ ቅድሜነ ፡ ወባረክናሃ ፡ ወዜነውናሃ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘተአዘዘ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይመውት ፡ ዓዲ ፡ እስከ ፡ ይወልድ ፡ ስድስተ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ወይሬኢ ፡ ዘእንበለ ፡ ይሙት ።
在第四個七年的第六年，我們來到亞伯拉罕那裏，到誓言之井，向他顯現，正如我們曾對撒拉所說的，我們要再回到她這裏，她也懷了一個兒子。在第七月我們轉回，遇見撒拉在我們面前懷了孕。我們便為她祝福，把所吩咐他的一切都告訴她，就是他必不死，直到他生了六個兒子才見到，然後才死。
8.
16:17
ወኵሉ ፡ ዘርአ ፡ ውሉዱ ፡ አሕዛበ ፡ ይከውኑ ፡ ወምስለ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ይትኌለቁ ።
他眾子的後裔都要成為列邦，與列邦同列；惟有從以撒的眾子中，必有一脈成為聖潔的後裔，不算在列邦之中。
And (that) all the seed of his sons should be Gentiles, and be reckoned with the Gentiles; but from the sons of Isaac one should become a holy seed, and should not be reckoned among the Gentiles.
16:18
እስመ ፡ ለመክፈልተ ፡ ልዑል ፡ ይከውን ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ዘይመልክ ፡ አምላክ ፡ ወረደ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘርኡ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኩን ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ሕዝበ ፡ ትርሲት ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ይኩን ፡ መንግሥተ ፡ ወክህነተ ፡ ወሕዝበ ፡ ቅዱሰ ።
因為他必成為至高者的份，他一切的後裔都歸入神的所有，使他成為主特選的子民，超乎萬民之上，並成為一個國度、祭司，和聖潔的國民。
For he should become the portion of the Most High, 2 and all his seed had fallen into the possession of God, that it should be unto the Lord a people for (His) possession 3 above all nations and that it should become a kingdom and priests and a holy nation.
16:19
ወሖርነ ፡ ፍኖተነ ፡ ወዜነውናሃ ፡ ለሳራ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘነገርናሁ ፡ ወተፈሥሑ ፡ ክልኤሆሙ ፡ ፍሥሐ ፡ ዐቢየ ፡ ጥቀ ።
我們便起行上路，把我們所告訴他的一切都告訴撒拉，他們二人就極其歡喜快樂。
And we went our way, and we announced to Sarah all that we had told him, and they both rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
16:20
ወሐነጸ ፡ ህየ ፡ ምሥዋዐ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘባልሖ ፡ ወለዘያስተፈሥሖ ፡ በምድረ ፡ ፍልሰቱ ።
他在那裏為那拯救他、又使他在寄居之地歡喜的主，築了一座壇，並在他所築的誓言之井的壇旁，守了七日歡樂的節期。
And he built there an altar to the Lord who had delivered him, and who was making him rejoice in the land of his sojourning, and he celebrated a festival of joy in this month seven days, 5 near the altar which he had built at the Well of the Oath.
16:21
ወሐነጸ ፡ ምጽላላተ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ወለአግብርቲሁ ፡ በዛቲ ፡ በዓል ፡ ወውእቱ ፡ መቅድመ ፡ ገብረ ፡ በዓለ ፡ መጸላት ፡ በዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡ 22 ወበዝ ፡ ሰቡዕ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ሀሎ ፡ ይቄርብ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ በበ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ጽንሐሐ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አልህምተ ፡ ክልኤተ ፡ ወአብሐኰ ፡ ክልኤተ ፡ አባግዐ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ መሐስአ ፡ ጠሊ ፡ አሐደ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኃጢአት ፡ ከመ ፡ ያስተስሪ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ በእንቲአሁ ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ዘርኡ ፡ 23 ወለመሥዋዕተ ፡ መድኃኒት ፡ አብሐኰ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ ወመሐስአ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ ወአባግዐ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ ወደቤላተ ፡ ሰብዓተ ፡ ወመሥዋዕቶሙሂ ፡ ወሞጻሕቶሙሂ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሥብሖሙ ፡ የዐጥን ።
在這節期，他為自己和他的僕人搭了帳棚，他是頭一個在地上守住棚節的。這七日之中，他每日都在壇上獻祭歸給主，獻燔祭兩隻公牛、兩隻公綿羊、七隻羊羔，並一隻山羊羔為贖罪祭，好為他自己和他的後裔贖罪。又為平安祭獻上七隻公綿羊、七隻山羊羔、七隻綿羊和七隻公山羊，連同它們的素祭和奠祭，並把一切脂油都焚燒獻上。
And he built booths for himself and for his servants on this festival, and he was the first to celebrate the feast of tabernacles on the earth.
16:24
ወበጽባሕ ፡ ወሰርክሂ ፡ የዐጥን ፡ አፈወ ፡ ስኂን ፡ ወቅንአተ ፡ ወማየ ፡ ልብን ፡ ወናርዶስ ፡ ወከርቤ ፡ ወሰንብልተ ፡ ወቍስጠ ፡ ሰብዓቲሆሙ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ይቄርብ ፡ ወጉአ ፡ ዕሩየ ፡ ተዐርዮ ፡ ድሙረ ፡ ንጹሐ ።
早晚他都焚燒香料，就是楓脂、白松香、沒藥水、甘松、沒藥、香穗和木香這七樣，全都搗碎，均勻調和潔淨地獻上。
And morning and evening he burnt fragrant substances, 9 frankincense and galbanum, and stacte, and nard, and myrrh, and spice, and costum; all these seven he offered, crushed, mixed together in equal parts (and) pure.
16:25
ወገብረ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ በዓለ ፡ ሰቡዐ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይትፌሠሕ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ልቡ ፡ ወበኵሉ ፡ ነፍሱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ቤቱ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ መነሂ ፡ ነኪረ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘኢኮነ ፡ ክሱበ ።
他守這節七日，他和他家中的眾人都全心全靈地歡喜快樂；與他同在的沒有一個外人，也沒有一個未受割禮的。
And he celebrated this feast during seven days, rejoicing with all his heart and with all his soul, he and all those who were in his house; and there was no stranger with him, nor any that was uncircumcised.
16:26
ወባረኮ ፡ ለፈጣሪሁ ፡ ዘፈጠሮ ፡ በትዝምዱ ፡ እስመ ፡ ለሥምረቱ ፡ ፈጠሮ ፡ እስመ ፡ አእመረ ፡ ወጠየቀ ፡ ከመ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ይከውን ፡ ተክለ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ ለትውልድ ፡ ዘለዓለም ፡ ወእምኔሁ ፡ ዘርእ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኩን ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ለዘ ፡ ገብረ ፡ ኵሎ ።
他稱頌那按其世代造他的創造主，因祂是按自己的喜悅造他的；因祂知道並洞悉，從他必生出公義的栽植，存到世世代代，並從他要有聖潔的後裔，使其得以像那造萬物的主一樣。
And he blessed his Creator who had created him in generation, for He had created him according to His good pleasure; for He knew and perceived that from him would arise the plant of righteousness 1 for the eternal generations, and from him a holy seed, so that it should become like Him who had made all things.
16:27
ወባረከ ፡ ወተፈሥሐ ፡ ወጸውዐ ፡ ስማ ፡ ለዛቲ ፡ በዓል ፡ በዓለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፍሥሓ ፡ ስጥወተ ፡ ለአምላክ ፡ ልዑል ።
他便祝福、歡喜，稱這節期為主的節期，是至高神所悅納的喜樂。
And he blessed and rejoiced, and he called the name of this festival the festival of the Lord, a joy acceptable to the Most High God.
16:28
ወባረክናሁ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ዘርአ ፡ ዘእምድኅሬሁ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ትውልደ ፡ ምድር ፡ እስወ ፡ ገብረ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ በዓለ ፡ በጊዜሃ ፡ በከመ ፡ ስምዐ ፡ ጽላተ ፡ ሰማይ ።
我們就永遠為他祝福，並為他以後一切的後裔，在地上世世代代祝福，因他在所定的時候守了這節，照天上法版的見證。
And we blessed him for ever, and all his seed after him throughout all the generations of the earth, because he celebrated this festival in its season, according to the testimony of the heavenly tables.
16:29
በእንተዝ ፡ ተሠርዐ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽላተ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኩኑ ፡ ገባርያነ ፡ በዓለ ፡ መጸለት ፡ ሰቡዐ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ በፍሥሓ ፡ በወርኅ ፡ ሳብዕ ፡ ዘይትወከፍ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሕገ ፡ ዘለዓለም ፡ በትውልዶሙ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ዓመት ፡ ወዓመታት ።
為此緣故，已在天上的法版上為以色列定規，叫他們在第七月歡歡喜喜地守住棚節七日，是在主面前蒙悅納的，作為他們世世代代年年遵守的永遠律例。
For this reason it is ordained on the heavenly tables concerning Israel, that they shall celebrate the feast of tabernacles seven days with joy, in the seventh month, acceptable before the Lord—a statute for ever throughout their generations every year.
16:30
ወአልቦ ፡ ለዝንቱ ፡ ወሰነ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ እስመ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሥሩዕ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ከመ ፡ ይግበርዋ ፡ ወይንበሩ ፡ ወስተ ፡ ምጽላል ፡ ወከመ ፡ ያንብሩ ፡ አክሊላተ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ርእሶሙ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ይንሥኡ ፡ ዐጽቀ ፡ ቈጽል ፡ ወኲሐ ፡ እሙሐዝ ።
這節沒有日期的限制，因為它是為以色列永遠定立的，叫他們遵守，住在棚裏，把花環戴在頭上，並手拿枝葉茂盛的樹枝和溪邊的柳枝。
And to this there is no limit of days; for it is ordained for ever regarding Israel that they should celebrate it and dwell in booths, and set wreathes upon their heads, 3 and take leafy boughs, and willows from the brook.
16:31
ወነሥአ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ልበ ፡ ፀበርት ፡ ወፍሬ ፡ ዕፅ ፡ ሠናይ ፡ ወበኵሉ ፡ ዕለት ፡ እምዕለት ፡ ሀሎ ፡ እንዘ ፡ የአውድ ፡ ምሥዋዐ ፡ በአዕፁቅ ፡ ስብዕ ፡ ለዕለት ፡ በጽባሕ ፡ ይጼብሕ ፡ ወይገኒ ፡ ለአምላኩ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘበፍሥሓ ።
亞伯拉罕取了棕樹枝和美樹的果子，每日清晨手拿枝子繞壇七次，向他的神歡歡喜喜地讚美感謝。
And Abraham took branches of palm trees, and the fruit of goodly trees, and every day going round the altar with the branches seven times 5 [paragraph continues ] [a day ] in the morning, he praised and gave thanks to his God for all things in joy. Footnotes 31. 12. 5. 21. 15. 10.
