19:1
ወበዓመት ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ዘሱባዔ ፡ ቀዳሚ ፡ በዘ ፡ አርብዓ ፡ ወክልኤቱ ፡ ኢዮቤልዉ ፡ ተመይጠ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ወኀደረ ፡ አንጸረ ፡ ኬብሮን ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ቀሪያታርባቅ ፡ ክልኤ ፡ ሱባዔ ፡ ዓመት ።
在第四十二個禧年的第一個七年的頭一年，亞伯拉罕回到希伯崙對面住下，就是基列亞巴，住了兩個七年。
And in the first year of the first week of the forty-second jubilee, Abraham returned and dwelt opposite Hebron, that is Kiriath-arba, two weeks of years.
19:2
ወበዓመት ፡ ቀዳሚ ፡ ዘሱባዔ ፡ ሣልስ ፡ ዘዝ ፡ ኢዮቤልዉ ፡ ተፈጸመ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ሕይወተ ፡ ሳራ ፡ ወሞተት ፡ በኬብሮን ።
在這禧年的第三個七年的頭一年，撒拉一生的日子滿了，就死在希伯崙。
And in the first year of the †third‡ week of this jubilee the days of the life of Sarah were accomplished, and she died in Hebron.
19:3
ወሖረ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ከመ ፡ ይብኪያ ፡ ወይቅብራ ።
亞伯拉罕前去為她哀哭，並安葬她。
And Abraham went to mourn over her and bury her, and we tried him [to see ] if his spirit were patient and he were not indignant in the words of his mouth; and he was found patient in this, and was not disturbed.
19:4
እስመ ፡ በትዕግሥተ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ ተናገረ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ኬጥ ፡ ከመ ፡ የሀብዎ ፡ መካነ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይቅበር ፡ በድኖ ፡ ውስቴቱ ።
因為他以忍耐的心靈與赫人的子孫商談，要他們給他一塊地，好叫他在其中埋葬他的死者。
For in patience of spirit he conversed with the children of Heth, to the intent that they should give him a place in which to bury his dead.
19:5
ወእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወሀቦ ፡ ሞገሰ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይሬእይዎ ።
主使他在一切看見他的人眼前蒙恩。
And the Lord gave him grace before all who saw him, and he besought in gentleness the sons of Heth, and they gave him the land of the double cave 3 over against Manre, that is Hebron, for four hundred pieces of silver.
19:6
ወእሙንቱሂ ፡ ያስተበቍዕዎ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይብሉ ፡ ነሀብከ ፡ በከ ፡ ወኢነሥአ ፡ እምእዴሆሙ ፡ በከ ፡ እስመ ፡ ወሀበ ፡ ሤጦ ፡ ለመካን ፡ ብሩረ ፡ ፍጹመ ።
他們向他懇求，說：「我們白白送給你。」他卻不肯白白從他們手中接受，因為他付了那地方的價銀，足足付清；此後他就把死者葬在那雙穴的洞裏。
And they besought him, saying, "We shall give it to thee for nothing "; but he would not take it from their hands for nothing, for he gave the price of the place, the money in full, and he bowed down before them twice; and after this he buried his dead in the double cave.
19:7
ወኮነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ሕይወታ ፡ ለሳራ ፡ ምእት ፡ ወዕሥራ ፡ ወሰብዐቱ ፡ እሉ ፡ ዝክልኤ ፡ ኢዮቤልዉ ፡ ወአርባዕቱ ፡ ሱባዔ ፡ ወዓመት ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ዓመታተ ፡ ሕይወታ ፡ ለሳራ ።
撒拉一生的日子共一百二十七年，就是兩個禧年、四個七年又一年；這就是撒拉一生年歲的日子。
And all the days of the life of Sarah were one hundred and twenty-seven years, that is, two jubilees and four weeks and one year; these are the days of the years of the life of Sarah.
19:8
ወዝመከራ ፡ ዓሥር ፡ በዘ ፡ ተመከረ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ወተረክበ ፡ ምእመነ ፡ ዕጉሠ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ 9 ወኢይቤ ፡ ቃለ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ንባብ ፡ ዘምድር ፡ ዘይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ የሀባ ፡ ኪያሃ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ወለዘርኡ ፡ እምድኅሬሁ ።
這是亞伯拉罕所受的第十次試驗，他被察驗為忠信，心靈忍耐。他對於那塊地的言語，就是主所應許要把它賜給他和他後裔的話，並未說出一句怨言。
This is the tenth 2 trial wherewith Abraham was tried, and he was found faithful, patient in spirit.
19:10
ወበዓመት ፡ ራብዕ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ነሥአ ፡ ለይስሐቅ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ ወስማ ፡ ርብቃ ፡ ወለተ ፡ ባቱኤል ፡ ወልደ ፡ ናኮር ፡ እኅወ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ እኅተ ፡ ላባ ፡ ወባቱኤል ፡ ወለዶሙ ፡ ለባቱኤላዊያን ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሜልከ ፡ ዘብእሲተ ፡ ናኮር ፡ እኅወ ፡ አብርሃም ።
在這禧年的第四年，他為他兒子以撒娶了妻，名叫利百加，是彼土利的女兒；彼土利是亞伯拉罕兄弟拿鶴之子，利百加是拉班的妹妹；彼土利又是拿鶴之妻密迦所生的兒子。
And in the fourth year thereof he took a wife for his son Isaac and her name was Rebecca [the daughter of Bethuel, the son of Nahor, the brother of Abraham ] 2 the sister of Laban and daughter of Bethuel; and Bethuel was the son of Melcâ, who was the wife of Nahor, the brother of Abraham.
19:11
ወአብርሃም ፡ ነሥአ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ሣልስተ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ ወስማ ፡ ኬጡራ ፡ እምነ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ልደ ፡ ቤቱ ፡ አመ ፡ ሞተት ፡ አጋር ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ሳራ ፡ 12 ወወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ስድስተ ፡ ዘንበሪሃ ፡ ወያክስንሃ ፡ ወማዳይሃ ፡ ወማዳንሃ ፡ ወኢያዝቦቅሃ ፡ ወሴሂያሃ ፡ በክልኤ ፡ ሱባዔ ፡ ዓመት ።
亞伯拉罕為自己娶了第三個妻子，名叫基土拉，是他家中僕婢之女中的一個，因為夏甲在撒拉以前已經死了。她在兩個七年之間給他生了六個兒子，就是心蘭、約珊、米但、米甸、伊施巴和書亞。
And Abraham took to himself a third wife, and her name was Keturah, from among the daughters of his household servants, for Hagar had died before Sarah.
19:13
ወበሱባዔ ፡ ሳድስ ፡ በካልእ ፡ ዓመቱ ፡ ወለደት ፡ ርብቃ ፡ ለይስሐቅ ፡ ክልኤ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ያዕቆብሃ ፡ ወዔሳውሃ ፡ ወያዕቆብሰ ፡ ፍጹም ፡ ወራትዕ ፡ ወዔሳው ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ድሩክ ፡ ወሐቃላዊ ፡ ወጸጓር ፡ ወያዕቆብ ፡ የኀድር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምጽላላት ፡ 14 ወልህቁ ፡ ወራዙት ፡ ወተምህረ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ መጽሐፈ ፡ ወዔሳውሰ ፡ ኢተምህረ ፡ እስመ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ሐቃላዊ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወነዓዊ ፡ ወተምህረ ፡ ፀብአ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ግብሩ ፡ ድሩክ ።
在第六個七年的第二年，利百加給以撒生了兩個兒子，就是雅各和以掃；雅各是完全正直的人，以掃卻是兇暴、好野居、多毛的人，雅各則常住在帳棚裏。他們漸漸長大成了少年，雅各學了文字，以掃卻沒有學，因為他是個好野居的人、獵戶，又學了爭戰，他一切的行為都是兇暴的。
And in the sixth week, in the second year thereof, Rebecca bare to Isaac two sons, Jacob and Esau, and Jacob was a smooth and upright man, and Esau was fierce, a man of the field, and hairy, and Jacob dwelt in tents.
19:15
ወያፈቅር ፡ ያዕቆብሃ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ወይስሐቅ ፡ ዔሳውሃ ።
亞伯拉罕愛雅各，以撒卻愛以掃。
And Abraham loved Jacob, but Isaac loved Esau.
19:16
ወርእየ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ግብሮ ፡ ለዔሳው ፡ ወአእመረ ፡ ከመ ፡ በያዕቆብ ፡ ይጼዋዕ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ስም ፡ ወዘርእ ።
亞伯拉罕看見以掃的行為，便知道他的名下和後裔要從雅各而出。
And Abraham saw the deeds of Esau, and he knew that in Jacob should his name and seed be called; and he called Rebecca and gave commandment regarding Jacob, for he knew that she (too) loved Jacob much more than Esau.
19:17
ወይቤላ ፡ ወለትየ ፡ ዕቀቢ ፡ ወልድየ ፡ ያዕቆብሃ ፡ እስመ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ይከውን ፡ ህየንቴየ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወለበረከት ፡ በማእከለ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ዘርአ ፡ ሴም ፡ ለትምክሕት ፡ 18 እስመ ፡ አአምር ፡ ከመ ፡ ኪያሁ ፡ የኀሪ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ ቃውም ፡ እምኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ገጸ ፡ ምድር ።
他對利百加說：「我的女兒啊，你要看顧我的兒子雅各，因為他必在地上接替我，並在世人中間作為祝福，又作閃一切後裔的誇耀。」「因為我知道主必揀選他，使他成為一族，在地面上眾人之上得堅立。」
And he said unto her: "My daughter, watch over my son Jacob, For he shall be in my stead on the earth, And for a blessing in the midst of the children of men, And for the glory of the whole seed of Shem. [paragraph continues ]
19:19
ወናሁ ፡ ይስሐቅ ፡ ወልድየ ፡ ያፈቅሮ ፡ ለዔሳው ፡ እምነ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ወአነ ፡ እሬእየኪ ፡ መፍቀሪተ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ ያዕቆብሃ ፡ 20 ወስኪ ፡ ዓዲ ፡ አሠንዮ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ወይኩና ፡ አዕይንቲኪ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ለፍቁር ።
「看哪，我兒以撒愛以掃過於雅各，但我看出你是真心愛雅各的。」「你還要多加恩待他，願你的眼目看顧他如愛子一般。」
And behold, Isaac my son loveth Esau more than Jacob, but I see that thou truly lovest Jacob.
19:21
ይጽንዓ ፡ እደዊኪ ፡ ወትትፈሣሕ ፡ ልብኪ ፡ በወልድኪ ፡ ያዕቆብ ።
「願你的手剛強，願你的心因你兒子雅各而歡喜，因為我愛他遠超過我一切的眾子；他必永遠蒙福，他的後裔必遍滿全地。」
Let thy hands be strong And let thy heart rejoice in thy son Jacob; For I have loved him far beyond all my sons. He will be blessed for ever, And his seed will fill the whole earth.
19:22
እመ ፡ ይክል ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ኆልቆ ፡ ኆፃ ፡ ምድር ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ይትኌለቁ ፡ ዘርኡሂ ፡ 23 ወኵሎን ፡ በረከት ፡ እለ ፡ ባረከኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኪያየ ፡ ወዘርእየ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ፡ ወለዘርኡ ፡ ይኩን ፡ ኵሎ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ 24 ወበዘርኡ ፡ ይትባረክ ፡ ስምየ ፡ ወስመ ፡ አበዊየ ፡ ሴም ፡ ወኖኅ ፡ ወሄኖክ ፡ ወመላልኤል ፡ ወሄኖስ ፡ ወሴት ፡ ወአዳም ፡ 25 ወእሙንቱ ፡ ይኩኑ ፡ ለሣርሮ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ወለአጽንዖ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወለሐድሶ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ብርሃናት ፡ ዘዲበ ፡ ምጽናዓት ።
人若能數算地上的塵沙，他的後裔也才能數得過來。凡主所賜給我和我後裔的一切祝福，都要歸與雅各和他的後裔，存到萬代。我的名和我列祖的名，就是閃、挪亞、以諾、瑪勒列、以挪士、塞特和亞當的名，必因他的後裔得福；他們要被立來鞏固天、堅定地、更新蒼穹之上一切的光體。
If a man can number the sand of the earth, His seed also will be numbered. 3 [paragraph continues ]
19:26
ወጸውዖ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ አዕይንቲሃ ፡ ለርብቃ ፡ እሙ ፡ ወሰዐሞ ፡ ወባረኮ ፡ ወይቤ ፡ 27 ወልድየ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ፍቁር ፡ ዘአፍቀረት ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ ይባርከ ፡ አምላክ ፡ እመልዕልተ ፡ ምጽናዓት ፡ ወየሀብከ ፡ ኵሎን ፡ በረከታተ ፡ እለ ፡ ባረኮ ፡ ለአዳም ፡ ወሄኖክሃ ፡ ወኖኅሃ ፡ ወሴምሃ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ዘመጠነ ፡ ተናገረኒ ።
亞伯拉罕在雅各母親利百加眼前叫了雅各來，與他親嘴，給他祝福，說：「我所愛的兒子雅各啊，就是我心所愛的，願蒼穹之上的神賜福給你，把祂賜福給亞當、以諾、挪亞和閃的一切祝福，並祂對我所說的一切，都賜給你。」
And he called Jacob before the eyes of Rebecca his mother, and kissed him, and blessed him, and said:
19:28
ወኢይመብሉ ፡ ላዕሌከ ፡ ወላዕለ ፡ ዘርእከ ፡ መናፍስተ ፡ መስቴማ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያርኅቁከ ፡ እምድኅረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘውእቱ ፡ አምላክከ ፡ እምይእዜ ፡ ወእስከ ፡ ለዓለም ።
「願瑪斯提瑪的眾靈不得轄管你和你的後裔，使你從今時直到永遠不致偏離那作你神的主。」
And the spirits of Mastēmā shall not rule over thee or over thy seed 2 to turn thee from the Lord, who is thy God from henceforth for ever.
19:29
ወይኩንከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክ ፡ አበ ፡ ወአንተሂ ፡ ወልደ ፡ በኵረ ፡ ወለሕዝብ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ መዋዕለ ።
「願主神作你的父，你作長子和子民，存到萬代。我兒，你平平安安地去吧。」
And may the Lord God be a father to thee and thou the first-born son, and to the people alway. Go in peace, my son. " 30 . And they both went forth together from Abraham.
19:30
ወወፅኡ ፡ ክልኤሆሙ ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ እምኀበ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ 31 ወአፍቀረቶ ፡ ርብቃ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ልባ ፡ ወበኵሉ ፡ መንፈሳ ፡ ብዙኀ ፡ ፈድፋደ ፡ እምነ ፡ ዔሳው ፡ ወይስሐቅ ፡ ያፈቅሮ ፡ ለዔሳው ፡ ፈድፋደ ፡ እምያዕቆብ ።
他們二人就一同從亞伯拉罕那裏出去。利百加全心全靈地愛雅各，遠超過以掃；以撒卻愛以掃過於雅各。
And the two of them went out together from Abraham. And Rebecca loved Jacob with all her heart and with all her soul, much more than Esau; but Isaac loved Esau much more than Jacob.
