18:1

ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አብርሃም ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ነየ ፡ አነ ፡ 2 ወይቤሎ ፡ ንሥእ ፡ ወልደከ ፡ ፍቁረከ ፡ ዘታፈቅር ፡ ይስሐቅሃ ፡ ወሖር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምደር ፡ ልዕልት ፡ ወአዕርጎ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ እምአድባር ፡ ዘአነ ፡ አየድዐከ ፡ 3 ወአሌለየ ፡ በነገህ ፡ ወጸዐነ ፡ አድግቶ ፡ ወክልኤተ ፡ ደቆ ፡ ነሥአ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ ወይስሐቅሃ ፡ ወልዶ ፡ ወዕፀወ ፡ መሥዋዕት ፡ ሠፀረ ፡ ወሖረ ፡ ወስተ ፡ መካን ፡ በሠሉስ ፡ ዕለት ።

主對亞伯拉罕說：「亞伯拉罕，亞伯拉罕。」他說：「我在這裏。」祂說：「你帶著你所愛的獨生子以撒，往那高地去，把他獻在我所要指示你的一座山上。」他清早起來，給驢備上鞍，帶著兩個僕人和他兒子以撒，又劈好獻祭的柴，就起身往那地方去，走了三天。

And the Lord said to him, Abraham, Abraham. And he said, Here am I. And he said to him, Take your son, your beloved whom you love, Isaac, and go to a high land, and offer him up upon one of the mountains which I will show you. And he rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took with him two of his servants, and Isaac his son, and cut the wood for the offering, and went to the place on the third day.

18:4

ወበጽሐ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዐዘቅተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ለደቁ ፡ ንበሩ ፡ ዝየ ፡ ምስለ ፡ አድግት ፡ ወአነ ፡ ወሕፃን ፡ ነሐውር ፡ ወሰጊደነ ፡ ንገብእ ፡ ኀቤክሙ ።

他來到一口水井那裏，便對他的僕人說：「你們和驢在這裏等候，我與孩子往那裏去，我們敬拜以後，就回到你們這裏來。」

And he came to a well of water, and he said to his young men, "Abide ye here with the ass, and I and the lad shall go (yonder), and when we have worshipped we shall come again to you. "

18:5

ወነሥአ ፡ ዕፀ ፡ መሥዋዕት ፡ ወአስከሞ ፡ ለይስሐቅ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ወነሥአ ፡ በእዴሁ ፡ እሳተ ፡ ወመጥባሕተ ።

他便取了獻祭的柴，搭在他兒子以撒身上，自己手裏拿著火和刀；他們二人同行往那地方去。

And he took the wood of the burnt-offering and laid it on Isaac his son, and he took in his hand the fire and the knife, and they went both of them together to that place.

18:6

ወይቤ ፡ ይስሐቅ ፡ ለአቡሁ ፡ አባ ።

以撒對他父親說：「父親哪。」

And Isaac said to his father, "Father "; and he said, "Here am I, my son. " And he said unto him, "Behold the fire, and the knife, and the wood; but where is the sheep for the burnt-offering, father? "

18:7

ወይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ያሬኢ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ በግዐ ፡ ለጽንሓሕ ፡ ወልድየ ።

亞伯拉罕說：「我兒，神必親自預備作燔祭的羊羔。」

And he said, "God will provide for himself a sheep for a burnt-offering, my son. " And he drew near to the place of the mount of God.

18:8

ወሐነጸ ፡ ምሥዋዐ ፡ ወአንበረ ፡ ዕፀወ ፡ ዲበ ፡ መሥዋዕት ፡ ወአሰረ ፡ ይስሐቅሃ ፡ ወልዶ ፡ ወአንበሮ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ዕፀው ፡ ዘመልዕልተ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ወሰፍሐ ፡ እዴሁ ፡ ይንሥእ ፡ መጥባሕተ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይዝብሖ ፡ ለይስሐቅ ፡ ወልዱ ።

他在那裏築了一座壇，把柴擺在壇上，捆綁他的兒子以撒，放在壇上的柴上，就伸手拿刀，要殺他的兒子以撒。

And he built an altar, and he placed the wood on the altar, and bound Isaac his son, and placed him on the wood which was upon the altar, and stretched forth his hand to take the knife to slay Isaac his son.

18:9

ወአነ ፡ ቆምኩ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ ወቅድመ ፡ መኰንነ ፡ መስቴማ ፡ ወይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በሎ ፡ ኢያውርድ ፡ እዴሁ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ሕፃን ፡ ወኢይግበር ፡ ምንተኒ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ እስመ ፡ አእመርኩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ፈራሄ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ውእቱ ።

我站在祂面前，也站在瑪斯提瑪首領面前；主說：「你吩咐他不可向那孩子下手，也不可向他作甚麼，因為我已知道他是敬畏神的。」

And I stood before him, and before the prince of the Mastemā, 2 and the Lord said, "Bid him not to lay his hand on the lad, nor to do anything to him, for I have shown that he feareth the Lord. "
