20:1
ወበአርብዓ ፡ ወክልኤቱ ፡ ኢዮቤልዉ ፡ በዓመት ፡ ቀዳሚ ፡ ዘሱባዔ ፡ ሳብዕ ፡ ጸውዐ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ ይስማዔልሃ ፡ ወዐሠርተ ፡ ወክልኤተ ፡ ደቂቆ ፡ ወይስሐቅሃ ፡ ወክልኤሆሙ ፡ ደቂቆ ፡ ወስድስተ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ኬጡራ ፡ ወውሉዶሙ ፡ 2 ወአዘዞሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይዕቀቡ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ይግበሩ ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ወያፍቅር ፡ አሐዱ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ቢጾ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ይኩኑ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ፀብእ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይሖሩ ፡ ዲበ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ ወለገቢረ ፡ ፍትሕ ፡ ወጽድቅ ፡ በዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡ 3 ከመ ፡ ይክስቡ ፡ ውሉዶሙ ፡ በኪዳን ፡ እንተ ፡ ተካየደ ፡ ምስሌሆሙ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ኢይትዐደዉ ፡ የማነ ፡ ወፀጋመ ፡ እምኵሎን ፡ ፍናዌ ፡ ዘአዘዘነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወከመ ፡ ንትዐቀብ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ዝሙት ፡ ወርኵስ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ንኅድግ ፡ እማእከሌነ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ርኵሰ ፡ ወዝሙተ ።
在第四十二個禧年，第七個七年的頭一年，亞伯拉罕叫了以實瑪利和他的十二個兒子、以撒和他的兩個兒子，以及基土拉的六個兒子和他們的子孫前來。他吩咐他們要謹守主的道路，行公義，彼此相愛，並在一切爭戰中彼此如一，又要在地上施行公平和公義；要叫他們的子孫守那與他們所立的約，不偏離主所吩咐我們的一切道路，左右都不偏離，並要遠避一切淫亂和污穢，從他們中間除掉一切污穢和淫亂。
And in the forty-second jubilee, in the first year of the seventh week, Abraham called Ishmael and his twelve sons, and Isaac and his two sons, and the six sons of Keturah and their children, and commanded them to keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness, and that each should love his neighbour, and that they should be thus in every war, that they might go against each one who was against them, and to execute judgment and righteousness on the earth, that their children might be blessed in the covenant which he had made with them, and that they should not turn aside to the right or to the left from all the ways which the Lord commanded us, and that we should keep ourselves from all fornication and uncleanness, and put away from among us all uncleanness and fornication.
20:4
ወእመ ፡ ዘመወት ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ኵላ ፡ ብእሲት ፡ ወእመኒ ፡ ወለት ፡ አውዕይዋ ፡ በእሳት ፡ ወኢይዘምዋ ፡ ድኅረ ፡ አዕይንቲሆን ፡ ወልቦንሂ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይንሥኡ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ እምነ ፡ አዋልደ ፡ ከናአን ፡ እስመ ፡ ይሤሮ ፡ ዘርአ ፡ ከናአን ፡ እምድር ።
「若有任何婦女或女子行了淫亂，你們就要用火將她燒了，不可隨己眼己心所欲去與她們行淫；也不可從迦南的女子中為自己娶妻，因為迦南的後裔必從地上被剪除。」
And if any woman or maiden commits fornication among you, burn her with fire, and let them not commit fornication after their eyes and their hearts, that they should take to themselves wives of the daughters of Canaan; for the seed of Canaan shall be rooted out of the land.
20:5
ወነገሮሙ ፡ ኵነኔሆሙ ፡ ለረዐይት ፡ ወኵነኔ ፡ ሰዶም ፡ ከመ ፡ ተኰነኑ ፡ በእንተ ፡ እከዮሙ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ዝሙት ፡ ወርኵስ ፡ ወሙስና ፡ በበይናቲሆሙ ፡ በዝሙት ፡ ሞቱ ።
他又把那些守望者所受的審判，並所多瑪所受的審判告訴他們，說他們怎樣因自己的惡行、淫亂、污穢和彼此的敗壞而受審判，死於淫亂。
And he told them of the judgment of the giants, and the judgment of Sodom, how they were judged on account of their wickedness, and died on account of their fornication and uncleanness and corruption among themselves through fornication.
20:6
ወአንትሙኒ ፡ ተዐቀቡ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ዝሙት ፡ ወርኵስ ፡ ወእምኵሉ ፡ ግማኔ ፡ ኀጢአት ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢተሀቡ ፡ ስመነ ፡ ለመርገም ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ሕይወተክሙ ፡ ለትምክሕት ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ውሉደክሙ ፡ ለሙስና ፡ በሰይፍ ፡ ወትከውኑ ፡ ርጉማነ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሰዶም ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ተረፍክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ገሞራ ።
「你們也要遠避一切淫亂、污穢和罪惡的玷污，免得使我們的名被咒詛，使你們一生淪為羞辱，使你們的子孫盡都死於刀劍而遭毀滅；不可使你們成為受咒詛的，像所多瑪一樣，使你們一切存留的像蛾摩拉的子孫一樣。」
And you, keep yourselves from all fornication and uncleanness, and from all defilement of sin, lest you make our name a curse, and all your life a reproach, and all your children for destruction by the sword, and you become accursed like Sodom, and all your remnant like the children of Gomorrah.
20:7
አነ ፡ አሰምዕ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ውሉድየ ፡ አፍቅርዎ ፡ ለአምላከ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ወተፀመዱ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ትእዛዞ ፡ ወኢትሖሩ ፡ ድኅረ ፡ ጣዖቶሙ ፡ ወድኅረ ፡ ርኵሶሙ ።
「我的眾子啊，我向你們作見證：你們要愛天上的神，遵守祂一切的誡命，不可隨從他們的偶像，也不可隨從他們的污穢。」
I testify to you, my sons, love the God of heaven, and cleave to all his commandments, and do not go after their idols and after their uncleanness.
20:8
ወአማልክተ ፡ ስብኮ ፡ ኢትግበሩ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ወግልፈዋተ ፡ እስመ ፡ ከንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ።
「不可為自己造鑄像的神，也不可造雕刻的像，因為這都是虛空的。」
And do not make for yourselves molten gods, or graven images, for they are vanity.
20:9
አላ ፡ አምልኩ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ልዑለ ፡ ወስግዱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ወትረ ፡ ወተሰፈዉ ፡ ገጸ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ፡ ወግብሩ ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ወርትዐ ፡ በቅድሜሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይፍተው ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ወየሀብክሙ ፡ ምሕረቶ ፡ ወያውርድ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ዝናመ ፡ ነግህ ፡ ወሰርክ ።
「惟要敬拜至高的神，常常向祂下拜，時時仰望祂的面，在祂面前行公義正直，使祂喜悅你們，向你們施憐憫，並給你們早晚降下雨水。」
But worship the Most High God, and bow down to him continually, and look to his face at all times, and do righteousness and uprightness before him, that he may have delight in you and grant you his mercy, and send down for you the rain morning and evening.
20:10
ወትከውን ፡ ለበረከት ፡ በዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወይፈትዉክሙ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ አሕዛበ ፡ ምድር ።
「你們必在地上成為祝福，地上萬民都要喜悅你們。」
And you shall become a blessing upon the earth, and all the nations of the earth shall desire you.
20:11
ወወሀቦ ፡ ለይስማዔል ፡ ወለውሉዱ ፡ ወለውሉደ ፡ ኬጡራ ፡ ሀብተ ፡ ወፈነዎሙ ፡ እምይስሐቅ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ወሀቦ ፡ ለይስሐቅ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ 12 ወሖረ ፡ ይስማዔል ፡ ወውሉዱ ፡ ወውሉደ ፡ ኬጡራ ፡ ወውሉዶሙ ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ ወኀደሩ ፡ እምፋርሞን ፡ እስከ ፡ ምብዋአ ፡ ባቢሎን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ገጸ ፡ ጽባሕ ፡ አንጻረ ፡ ገዳም ።
他把禮物賜給以實瑪利和他的眾子，並基土拉的眾子，打發他們離開他兒子以撒，把一切都歸給他兒子以撒。以實瑪利和他的眾子，並基土拉的眾子和他們的子孫一同前去，住在法珥懞直到巴比倫的入口，就是朝東面對曠野的全地。
And he gave to Ishmael and to his sons, and to the sons of Keturah, gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, and he gave everything to Isaac his son. And Ishmael and his sons, and the sons of Keturah and their sons, went together, and dwelt from Paran as far as the entrance of Babylon, in all the land which is toward the east, opposite the wilderness.
20:13
ወተደመሩ ፡ እሉ ፡ ምስለ ፡ እሉ ፡ ወተጸውዐ ፡ ስሞሙ ፡ ዐረብ ፡ ወእስማዔላዊያን ።
這些人彼此混雜，他們的名就稱為阿拉伯人和以實瑪利人。
And these mingled with each other, and their name was called Arabs, and Ishmaelites.
