40:1
ወርኢኩ፡ እምድኅረዝ፡ አእላፈ፡ አእላፋት፡ ወትእልፊተ፡ አእላፋት፡ ወአልቦሙ፡ ኍልቊ፡ ወሐሳብ፡ ለእለ፡ ይቀውሙ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአ፡ መናፍስት።
此後，我看見千千萬萬，又有萬萬千千，多得無法數算、無法計量，都站在靈之主面前。
And after that I saw thousands of thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand, I saw a multitude beyond number and reckoning, who stood before the Lord of Spirits.
40:2
ወርኢኩ፡ ወበአርባዕቱ፡ ክነፊሁ፡ ለእግዚአ፡ መናፍስት፡ አርባዕተ፡ ገጻት፡ ካልኣተ፡ እምእለ፡ ይቀውሙ፡ ወአስማቲሆሙ፡ አእመርኩ፡ ዘአይድዐኒ፡ መልአክ፡ ዘመጽአ፡ ምስሌየ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ኅቡኣተ፡ አርአየኒ።
我又看見在靈之主的四面，有四位與那不睡覺者不同的位格；我知道了他們的名字，因為與我同行的天使將他們的名字告訴了我，又把一切隱藏的事都指示給我。
And on the four sides of the Lord of Spirits I saw four presences, different from those that sleep not, and I learnt their names: for the angel that went with me made known to me their names, and showed me all the hidden things.
40:3
ወሰማዕኩ፡ ቃሎሙ፡ ለእልክቱ፡ ገጽ፡ አርባዕቱ፡ ገጽ፡ እንዘ፡ ይሴብሑ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአ፡ መናፍስት።
我聽見那四位位格的聲音，在榮耀之主面前頌讚。
And I heard the voices of those four presences as they uttered praises before the Lord of glory.
40:4
ወቃል፡ ቀዳማዊ፡ ይባርኮ፡ ለእግዚአ፡ መናፍስት፡ ለዓለመ፡ ዓለም።
第一個聲音稱頌靈之主，直到永永遠遠。
The first voice blesses the Lord of Spirits for ever and ever.
40:5
ወቃለ፡ ካልአ፡ ሰማዕኩ፡ እንዘ፡ ይባርኮ፡ ለኅሩይ፡ ወለኅሩያን፡ እለ፡ ስቁላን፡ ለእግዚአ፡ መናፍስት።
第二個聲音，我聽見他稱頌那蒙揀選者，又稱頌那些懸於靈之主的蒙揀選者。
And the second voice I heard blessing the Elect One and the elect ones who hang upon the Lord of Spirits.
40:6
ወሣልሰ፡ ቃለ፡ ሰማዕኩ፡ እንዘ፡ ይስእሉ፡ ወይጼልዩ፡ በእንተ፡ እለ፡ የኀድሩ፡ ውስተ፡ የብስ፡ ወያስተበቍዑ፡ በስሙ፡ ለእግዚአ፡ መናፍስት።
第三個聲音，我聽見他為住在地上的人祈求禱告，奉靈之主的名代求。
And the third voice I heard pray and intercede for those who dwell on the earth and supplicate in the name of the Lord of Spirits.
40:7
ወቃለ፡ ራብዐየ፡ ሰማዕኩ፡ እንዘ፡ ይሰድዶሙ፡ ለሰይጣናት፡ ወኢየኀድጎሙ፡ ይባኡ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚአ፡ መናፍስት፡ ከመ፡ ያስተዋድይዎሙ፡ ለእለ፡ የኀድሩ፡ ዲበ፡ የብስ።
第四個聲音，我聽見他驅逐眾撒但，不容他們來到靈之主面前控告住在地上的人。
And I heard the fourth voice fending off the Satans and forbidding them to come before the Lord of Spirits to accuse them who dwell on the earth.
40:8
ወእምድኅረ፡ ዝ፡ ተስእልክዎ፡ ለመልአከ፡ ሰላም፡ ዘየሐውር፡ ምስሌየ፡ ዘውእቱ፡ አርአየኒ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘኅቡእ፡ ወእብሎ፡ መኑ፡ ውእቶሙ፡ እሉ፡ አርባዕቱ፡ ገጽ፡ ዘርኢኩ፡ ወእለ፡ ሰማዕኩ፡ ቃሎሙ፡ ወጸሐፍክዎሙ።
此後，我問那與我同行、將一切隱藏之事指示我的平安天使，說：「我所看見、所聽見其聲音又記下的這四位位格是誰？」
After that I asked the angel of peace who went with me, who showed me everything that is hidden: ‘Who are these four presences which I have seen and whose words I have heard and written down?’
40:9
ወይቤለኒ፡ ዝ፡ ቃል፡ ቀዳማዊ፡ ውእቱ፡ መሓሪ፡ ወርሑቀ፡ መዓት፡ ቅዱስ፡ ሚካኤል፡ ወካልእ፡ ዘዲበ፡ ኵሉ፡ ሕማም፡ ወዲበ፡ ኵሉ፡ ቍስል፡ ዘውሉደ፡ ሰብእ፡ ውእቱ፡ ሩፋኤል፡ ወሣልስ፡ ዘዲበ፡ ኵሉ፡ ኀይል፡ ውእቱ፡ ቅዱስ፡ ገብርኤል፡ ወራብዕ፡ ዘዲበ፡ ንስሓ፡ ለተስፋ፡ እለ፡ ይወርሱ፡ ሕይወተ፡ ዘለዓለም፡ ውእቱ፡ ፋኑኤል።
他對我說：「第一位是米迦勒，滿有憐憫、不輕易發怒；第二位是拉斐爾，掌管世人兒女一切的疾病與創傷；第三位是加百列，掌管一切權能；第四位是法努伊勒，掌管那些承受永遠生命之人懷盼望的悔改。」
And he said to me: ‘This first is Michael, the merciful and long-suffering: and the second, who is set over all the diseases and all the wounds of the children of men, is Raphael: and the third, who is set over all the powers, is Gabriel: and the fourth, who is set over the repentance unto hope of those who inherit eternal life, is named Phanuel.’
40:10
ወእሉ፡ አርባዕቱ፡ መላእክቲሁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ልዑል፡ ወአርባዕተ፡ ቃለ፡ ሰማዕኩ፡ በውእቶን፡ መዋዕል።
這就是至高之主的四位天使，與我在那些日子所聽見的四個聲音。
And these are the four angels of the Lord of Spirits and the four voices I heard in those days.
