11:1
ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Σωφαρ ὁ Μιναῖος λέγει
米奈人瑣法回答說：
Then Sophar the Minaean answered and said:
11:2
ὁ τὰ πολλὰ λέγων καὶ ἀντακούσεται ἢ καὶ ὁ εὔλαλος οἴεται εἶναι δίκαιος εὐλογημένος γεννητὸς γυναικὸς ὀλιγόβιος
多言的人豈不也要聽人回答嗎？能言善道的人豈以為自己有理嗎？婦人所生、年日短少的，是有福的。
Shall he who speaks much also hear in reply? Or does the eloquent man think himself righteous? Blessed is the short-lived one born of a woman.
11:3
μὴ πολὺς ἐν ῥήμασιν γίνου οὐ γάρ ἐστιν ὁ ἀντικρινόμενός σοι
不要多言多語，因為沒有人與你對辯。
Do not be lavish with words, for there is no one to contend with you.
11:4
μὴ γὰρ λέγε ὅτι καθαρός εἰμι τοῖς ἔργοις καὶ ἄμεμπτος ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ
你不要說：「我的行為潔淨，在他面前無可指責。」
Do not say, 'I am clean in my works and blameless before him.'
11:5
ἀλλὰ πῶς ἂν ὁ κύριος λαλήσαι πρὸς σέ καὶ ἀνοίξει χείλη αὐτοῦ μετὰ σοῦ
惟願主向你說話，向你開他的嘴唇，
But oh that the Lord would speak to you, and open his lips with you!
11:6
εἶτα ἀναγγελεῖ σοι δύναμιν σοφίας ὅτι διπλοῦς ἔσται τῶν κατὰ σέ καὶ τότε γνώσῃ ὅτι ἄξιά σοι ἀπέβη ἀπὸ κυρίου ὧν ἡμάρτηκας
那時他必向你宣告智慧的能力，因為那智慧是你所有的雙倍；你就知道，主所降與你的，正是你所犯之罪應得的。
Then he would declare to you the power of wisdom, that it is double what you have; and then you would know that what has come upon you from the Lord is what your sins deserve.
11:7
ἦ ἴχνος κυρίου εὑρήσεις ἢ εἰς τὰ ἔσχατα ἀφίκου ἃ ἐποίησεν ὁ παντοκράτωρ
你豈能尋見主的蹤跡嗎？你豈已到達全能者所造的極處嗎？
Will you find the track of the Lord? Or have you come to the uttermost things that the Almighty has made?
11:8
ὑψηλὸς ὁ οὐρανός καὶ τί ποιήσεις βαθύτερα δὲ τῶν ἐν ᾅδου τί οἶδας
天是高的，你能做甚麼呢？比陰間更深的事，你知道甚麼呢？
Heaven is high—and what will you do? Things deeper than those in Hades—what do you know?
11:9
ἢ μακρότερα μέτρου γῆς ἢ εὔρους θαλάσσης
或是比地的量度更長、比海的寬闊更廣的事呢？
Or things longer than the measure of the earth, or than the breadth of the sea?
11:10
ἐὰν δὲ καταστρέψῃ τὰ πάντα τίς ἐρεῖ αὐτῷ τί ἐποίησας
他若傾覆萬有，誰能對他說：「你做了甚麼？」
And if he overturns all things, who will say to him, 'What have you done?'
11:11
αὐτὸς γὰρ οἶδεν ἔργα ἀνόμων ἰδὼν δὲ ἄτοπα οὐ παρόψεται
因為他知道不法之人的作為；他看見乖謬的事，必不放過。
For he knows the deeds of the lawless; and seeing perverse things, he will not overlook them.
11:12
ἄνθρωπος δὲ ἄλλως νήχεται λόγοις βροτὸς δὲ γεννητὸς γυναικὸς ἴσα ὄνῳ ἐρημίτῃ
人枉然在言語中泅泳；婦人所生的必死之人，如同曠野的野驢。
But a man floats vainly on words; a mortal born of a woman is like a wild donkey of the desert.
11:13
εἰ γὰρ σὺ καθαρὰν ἔθου τὴν καρδίαν σου ὑπτιάζεις δὲ χεῖρας πρὸς αὐτόν
你若使自己的心純潔，又向他舉起雙手，
For if you have made your heart clean, and spread out your hands toward him,
11:14
εἰ ἄνομόν τί ἐστιν ἐν χερσίν σου πόρρω ποίησον αὐτὸ ἀπὸ σοῦ ἀδικία δὲ ἐν διαίτῃ σου μὴ αὐλισθήτω
你手中若有甚麼不法的事，就當把它遠遠丟開，也不容不義住在你的帳幕裡。
if there is anything lawless in your hands, put it far from you, and let no unrighteousness lodge in your dwelling—
11:15
οὕτως γὰρ ἀναλάμψει σου τὸ πρόσωπον ὥσπερ ὕδωρ καθαρόν ἐκδύσῃ δὲ ῥύπον καὶ οὐ μὴ φοβηθῇς
這樣，你的臉必發光如同清水；你要脫去污穢，也必不懼怕。
for then your face will shine like pure water; you will strip off filth, and you will not be afraid.
11:16
καὶ τὸν κόπον ἐπιλήσῃ ὥσπερ κῦμα παρελθὸν καὶ οὐ πτοηθήσῃ
你必忘記你的勞苦，如同已過去的波浪，也必不驚惶。
And you will forget your trouble like a wave that has gone by, and you will not be terrified.
11:17
ἡ δὲ εὐχή σου ὥσπερ ἑωσφόρος ἐκ δὲ μεσημβρίας ἀνατελεῖ σοι ζωή
你的祈求必如晨星，你的生命必從正午向你升起。
And your prayer will be like the morning star, and life will rise for you out of noonday.
11:18
πεποιθώς τε ἔσῃ ὅτι ἔστιν σοι ἐλπίς ἐκ δὲ μερίμνης καὶ φροντίδος ἀναφανεῖταί σοι εἰρήνη
你必有把握，知道自己有指望；從憂慮和掛念中，必有平安向你顯現。
And you will be confident that there is hope for you; and out of anxiety and care peace will appear to you.
11:19
ἡσυχάσεις γάρ καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὁ πολεμῶν σε μεταβαλόμενοι δὲ πολλοί σου δεηθήσονται
你必安靜，無人與你爭戰；許多人必轉過來懇求你。
For you will be at rest, and there will be no one warring against you; and many, changing their minds, will entreat you.
11:20
σωτηρία δὲ αὐτοὺς ἀπολείψει ἡ γὰρ ἐλπὶς αὐτῶν ἀπώλεια ὀφθαλμοὶ δὲ ἀσεβῶν τακήσονται
但拯救必離棄他們，因為他們的指望就是滅亡；不敬虔之人的眼目必衰殘。
But salvation will forsake them, for their hope is destruction, and the eyes of the ungodly will waste away.
