ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ιωβ λέγει
約伯回答說：
Then Job answered and says:
26:2
τίνι πρόσκεισαι ἢ τίνι μέλλεις βοηθεῖν πότερον οὐχ ᾧ πολλὴ ἰσχὺς καὶ ᾧ βραχίων κραταιός ἐστιν
你依附誰？你要幫助誰呢？豈不是那力量大、膀臂強壯的嗎？
To whom do you attach yourself, or whom are you about to help? Is it not him who has great strength and whose arm is mighty?
26:3
τίνι συμβεβούλευσαι οὐχ ᾧ πᾶσα σοφία ἢ τίνι ἐπακολουθήσεις οὐχ ᾧ μεγίστη δύναμις
你向誰出謀策劃？豈不是那有全備智慧的嗎？你要跟隨誰？豈不是那有極大能力的嗎？
Whom have you counseled? Is it not him who has all wisdom? Or whom will you follow? Is it not him whose power is greatest?
26:4
τίνι ἀνήγγειλας ῥήματα πνοὴ δὲ τίνος ἐστὶν ἡ ἐξελθοῦσα ἐκ σοῦ
你向誰宣告言語？從你而出的氣息是誰的呢？
To whom have you announced words? And whose breath is it that has come out of you?
26:5
μὴ γίγαντες μαιωθήσονται ὑποκάτωθεν ὕδατος καὶ τῶν γειτόνων αὐτοῦ
巨人豈能在水底下、在水的鄰界中被生出來嗎？
Shall giants be brought to birth beneath the water and its neighbors?
26:6
γυμνὸς ὁ ᾅδης ἐπώπιον αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν περιβόλαιον τῇ ἀπωλείᾳ
陰間在他面前赤露，滅亡之處也沒有遮蓋。
Hades is naked before him, and there is no covering for destruction.
26:7
ἐκτείνων βορέαν ἐπ’ οὐδέν κρεμάζων γῆν ἐπὶ οὐδενός
他把北方鋪在虛無之上，將地懸在虛無之中。
He stretches out the north over nothing, hanging the earth upon nothing.
26:8
δεσμεύων ὕδωρ ἐν νεφέλαις αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἐρράγη νέφος ὑποκάτω αὐτοῦ
他將水包在他的密雲裡，雲卻不在其下裂開。
He binds up water in his clouds, and the cloud is not torn open beneath it.
26:9
ὁ κρατῶν πρόσωπον θρόνου ἐκπετάζων ἐπ’ αὐτὸν νέφος αὐτοῦ
他遮住寶座的面，把他的雲鋪展在其上。
He holds back the face of his throne, spreading his cloud over it.
26:10
πρόσταγμα ἐγύρωσεν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ὕδατος μέχρι συντελείας φωτὸς μετὰ σκότους
他在水面上劃出圓界，直到光與暗交接的盡頭。
He drew a circle as a decree upon the face of the water, to the boundary where light ends with darkness.
26:11
στῦλοι οὐρανοῦ ἐπετάσθησαν καὶ ἐξέστησαν ἀπὸ τῆς ἐπιτιμήσεως αὐτοῦ
天的柱子被展開，又因他的斥責而驚駭。
The pillars of heaven were spread out and were astounded at his rebuke.
26:12
ἰσχύι κατέπαυσεν τὴν θάλασσαν ἐπιστήμῃ δὲ ἔτρωσε τὸ κῆτος
他以能力使海平靜，又以知識刺傷那大海獸。
By strength he stilled the sea, and by knowledge he wounded the sea monster.
26:13
κλεῖθρα δὲ οὐρανοῦ δεδοίκασιν αὐτόν προστάγματι δὲ ἐθανάτωσεν δράκοντα ἀποστάτην
天的門閂都懼怕他；他用命令殺死了那背叛的龍。
The bars of heaven dread him, and by a decree he put to death the rebel dragon.
26:14
ἰδοὺ ταῦτα μέρη ὁδοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ ἰκμάδα λόγου ἀκουσόμεθα ἐν αὐτῷ σθένος δὲ βροντῆς αὐτοῦ τίς οἶδεν ὁπότε ποιήσει
看哪，這些不過是他道路的一部分；我們在他那裡所聽見的，只是話語的一點餘滴。至於他雷聲的威力，誰能知道他何時施行呢？
Behold, these are portions of his way, and what we hear in him is but a drop of a word; but the might of his thunder—who knows when he will do it?
