6:1
ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ιωβ λέγει
約伯回答說:
Then Job answered,
6:2
εἰ γάρ τις ἱστῶν στήσαι μου τὴν ὀργήν τὰς δὲ ὀδύνας μου ἄραι ἐν ζυγῷ ὁμοθυμαδόν
惟願我的煩惱稱一稱, 我一切的災害放在天平裏;
“Oh that my anguish were weighed, and all my calamity laid in the balances!
6:3
καὶ δὴ ἄμμου παραλίας βαρυτέρα ἔσται ἀλλ’ ὡς ἔοικεν τὰ ῥήματά μού ἐστιν φαῦλα
現今都比海沙更重, 所以我的言語急躁。
For now it would be heavier than the sand of the seas, therefore my words have been rash.
6:4
βέλη γὰρ κυρίου ἐν τῷ σώματί μού ἐστιν ὧν θυμὸς αὐτῶν ἐκπίνει μου τὸ αἷμα ὅταν ἄρξωμαι λαλεῖν κεντοῦσί με
因全能者的箭射入我身; 其毒,我的靈喝盡了; 上帝的驚嚇擺陣攻擊我。
For the arrows of the Almighty are within me. My spirit drinks up their poison. The terrors of God set themselves in array against me.
6:5
τί γάρ μὴ διὰ κενῆς κεκράξεται ὄνος ἄγριος ἀλλ’ τὰ σῖτα ζητῶν εἰ δὲ καὶ ῥήξει φωνὴν βοῦς ἐπὶ φάτνης ἔχων τὰ βρώματα
野驢有草豈能叫喚? 牛有料豈能吼叫?
Does the wild donkey bray when he has grass? Or does the ox low over his fodder?
6:6
εἰ βρωθήσεται ἄρτος ἄνευ ἁλός εἰ δὲ καὶ ἔστιν γεῦμα ἐν ῥήμασιν κενοῖς
物淡而無鹽豈可吃嗎? 蛋青有甚麼滋味呢?
Can that which has no flavor be eaten without salt? Or is there any taste in the white of an egg?
6:7
οὐ δύναται γὰρ παύσασθαί μου ψυχή βρόμον γὰρ ὁρῶ τὰ σῖτά μου ὥσπερ ὀσμὴν λέοντος
看為可厭的食物, 我心不肯挨近。
My soul refuses to touch them. They are as loathsome food to me.
6:8
εἰ γὰρ δῴη καὶ ἔλθοι μου αἴτησις καὶ τὴν ἐλπίδα μου δῴη κύριος
惟願我得着所求的, 願上帝賜我所切望的;
“Oh that I might have my request, that God would grant the thing that I long for,
6:9
ἀρξάμενος κύριος τρωσάτω με εἰς τέλος δὲ μή με ἀνελέτω
就是願上帝把我壓碎, 伸手將我剪除。
even that it would please God to crush me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!
6:10
εἴη δέ μου πόλις τάφος ἐφ’ ἧς ἐπὶ τειχέων ἡλλόμην ἐπ’ αὐτῆς οὐ μὴ φείσωμαι οὐ γὰρ ἐψευσάμην ῥήματα ἅγια θεοῦ μου
我因沒有違棄那聖者的言語, 就仍以此為安慰, 在不止息的痛苦中還可踴躍。
Let it still be my consolation, yes, let me exult in pain that doesn’t spare, that I have not denied the words of the Holy One.
6:11
τίς γάρ μου ἰσχύς ὅτι ὑπομένω τίς μου χρόνος ὅτι ἀνέχεταί μου ψυχή
我有甚麼氣力使我等候? 我有甚麼結局使我忍耐?
What is my strength, that I should wait? What is my end, that I should be patient?
6:12
μὴ ἰσχὺς λίθων ἰσχύς μου αἱ σάρκες μού εἰσιν χάλκειαι
我的氣力豈是石頭的氣力? 我的肉身豈是銅的呢?
Is my strength the strength of stones? Or is my flesh of bronze?
6:13
οὐκ ἐπ’ αὐτῷ ἐπεποίθειν βοήθεια δὲ ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ ἄπεστιν
在我豈不是毫無幫助嗎? 智慧豈不是從我心中趕出淨盡嗎?
Isn’t it that I have no help in me, that wisdom is driven away from me?
6:14
ἀπείπατό με ἔλεος ἐπισκοπὴ δὲ κυρίου ὑπερεῖδέν με
那將要灰心、離棄全能者、 不敬畏上帝的人, 他的朋友當以慈愛待他。
“To him who is ready to faint, kindness should be shown from his friend; even to him who forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
6:15
οὐ προσεῖδόν με οἱ ἐγγύτατοί μου ὥσπερ χειμάρρους ἐκλείπων ὥσπερ κῦμα παρῆλθόν με
我的弟兄詭詐,好像溪水, 又像溪水流乾的河道。
My brothers have dealt deceitfully as a brook, as the channel of brooks that pass away;
6:16
οἵτινές με διευλαβοῦντο νῦν ἐπιπεπτώκασίν μοι ὥσπερ χιὼν κρύσταλλος πεπηγώς
這河因結冰發黑, 有雪藏在其中;
which are black by reason of the ice, in which the snow hides itself.
6:17
καθὼς τακεῖσα θέρμης γενομένης οὐκ ἐπεγνώσθη ὅπερ ἦν
天氣漸暖就隨時消化, 日頭炎熱便從原處乾涸。
In the dry season, they vanish. When it is hot, they are consumed out of their place.
6:18
οὕτως κἀγὼ κατελείφθην ὑπὸ πάντων ἀπωλόμην δὲ καὶ ἔξοικος ἐγενόμην
結伴的客旅離棄大道, 順河偏行,到荒野之地死亡。
The caravans that travel beside them turn away. They go up into the waste, and perish.
6:19
ἴδετε ὁδοὺς Θαιμανων ἀτραποὺς Σαβων οἱ διορῶντες
提瑪結伴的客旅瞻望; 示巴同夥的人等候。
The caravans of Tema looked. The companies of Sheba waited for them.
6:20
καὶ αἰσχύνην ὀφειλήσουσιν οἱ ἐπὶ πόλεσιν καὶ χρήμασιν πεποιθότες
他們因失了盼望就抱愧, 來到那裏便蒙羞。
They were distressed because they were confident. They came there, and were confounded.
6:21
ἀτὰρ δὲ καὶ ὑμεῖς ἐπέβητέ μοι ἀνελεημόνως ὥστε ἰδόντες τὸ ἐμὸν τραῦμα φοβήθητε
現在你們正是這樣, 看見驚嚇的事便懼怕。
For now you are nothing. You see a terror, and are afraid.
6:22
τί γάρ μή τι ὑμᾶς ᾔτησα τῆς παρ’ ὑμῶν ἰσχύος ἐπιδέομαι
我豈說:請你們供給我, 從你們的財物中送禮物給我?
Did I ever say, ‘Give to me’? or, ‘Offer a present for me from your substance’?
6:23
ὥστε σῶσαί με ἐξ ἐχθρῶν ἐκ χειρὸς δυναστῶν ῥύσασθαί με
豈說:拯救我脫離敵人的手嗎? 救贖我脫離強暴人的手嗎?
or, ‘Deliver me from the adversary’s hand’? or, ‘Redeem me from the hand of the oppressors’?
6:24
διδάξατέ με ἐγὼ δὲ κωφεύσω εἴ τι πεπλάνημαι φράσατέ μοι
請你們教導我,我便不作聲; 使我明白在何事上有錯。
“Teach me, and I will hold my peace. Cause me to understand my error.
6:25
ἀλλ’ ὡς ἔοικεν φαῦλα ἀληθινοῦ ῥήματα οὐ γὰρ παρ’ ὑμῶν ἰσχὺν αἰτοῦμαι
正直的言語力量何其大! 但你們責備是責備甚麼呢?
How forcible are words of uprightness! But your reproof, what does it reprove?
6:26
οὐδὲ ἔλεγχος ὑμῶν ῥήμασίν με παύσει οὐδὲ γὰρ ὑμῶν φθέγμα ῥήματος ἀνέξομαι
絕望人的講論既然如風, 你們還想要駁正言語嗎?
Do you intend to reprove words, since the speeches of one who is desperate are as wind?
6:27
πλὴν ὅτι ἐπ’ ὀρφανῷ ἐπιπίπτετε ἐνάλλεσθε δὲ ἐπὶ φίλῳ ὑμῶν
你們想為孤兒拈鬮, 以朋友當貨物。
Yes, you would even cast lots for the fatherless, and make merchandise of your friend.
6:28
νυνὶ δὲ εἰσβλέψας εἰς πρόσωπα ὑμῶν οὐ ψεύσομαι
現在請你們看看我, 我決不當面說謊。
Now therefore be pleased to look at me, for surely I will not lie to your face.
6:29
καθίσατε δὴ καὶ μὴ εἴη ἄδικον καὶ πάλιν τῷ δικαίῳ συνέρχεσθε
請你們轉意,不要不公; 請再轉意,我的事有理。
Please return. Let there be no injustice. Yes, return again. My cause is righteous.
6:30
οὐ γάρ ἐστιν ἐν γλώσσῃ μου ἄδικον λάρυγξ μου οὐχὶ σύνεσιν μελετᾷ
我的舌上豈有不義嗎? 我的口裏豈不辨奸惡嗎?
Is there injustice on my tongue? Can’t my taste discern mischievous things?
