ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ τῶν εἰσπεπορευμένων εἰς Αἴγυπτον ἅμα Ιακωβ τῷ πατρὶ αὐτῶν ἕκαστος πανοικίᾳ αὐτῶν εἰσήλθοσαν
這些是以色列眾子的名字，就是那些與他們的父親雅各一同進入埃及的；他們各人都帶著全家進去了。
These are the names of the sons of Israel who had gone into Egypt together with Jacob their father; each of them entered with their whole household.
1:2
Ρουβην Συμεων Λευι Ιουδας
流便、西緬、利未、猶大；
Reuben, Symeon, Levi, Judas;
1:3
Ισσαχαρ Ζαβουλων καὶ Βενιαμιν
以薩迦、西布倫和便雅憫；
Issachar, Zaboulon, and Benjamin;
1:4
Δαν καὶ Νεφθαλι Γαδ καὶ Ασηρ
但和拿弗他利、迦得和亞設。
Dan and Nephthali, Gad and Aser.
1:5
Ιωσηφ δὲ ἦν ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ ἦσαν δὲ πᾶσαι ψυχαὶ ἐξ Ιακωβ πέντε καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα
約瑟那時已在埃及。從雅各而出的人口，共有七十五。
But Joseph was in Egypt. And all the souls that came from Jacob were seventy-five.
1:6
ἐτελεύτησεν δὲ Ιωσηφ καὶ πάντες οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ πᾶσα ἡ γενεὰ ἐκείνη
約瑟死了，他所有的弟兄和那一整代的人也都死了。
Then Joseph died, and all his brothers, and all that generation.
1:7
οἱ δὲ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ηὐξήθησαν καὶ ἐπληθύνθησαν καὶ χυδαῖοι ἐγένοντο καὶ κατίσχυον σφόδρα σφόδρα ἐπλήθυνεν δὲ ἡ γῆ αὐτούς
以色列的眾子卻繁衍增多，遍地都是，極其強盛；那地使他們增多起來。
But the sons of Israel increased and multiplied and became widespread and grew exceedingly strong; and the land multiplied them.
1:8
ἀνέστη δὲ βασιλεὺς ἕτερος ἐπ’ Αἴγυπτον ὃς οὐκ ᾔδει τὸν Ιωσηφ
有另一個王興起統治埃及，他不認識約瑟。
Then another king arose over Egypt, who did not know Joseph.
1:9
εἶπεν δὲ τῷ ἔθνει αὐτοῦ ἰδοὺ τὸ γένος τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ μέγα πλῆθος καὶ ἰσχύει ὑπὲρ ἡμᾶς
他對他的民族說：看哪，以色列眾子的族類是極大的一群，比我們強盛。
And he said to his nation, “Behold, the race of the sons of Israel is a great multitude, and it is stronger than we are.”
1:10
δεῦτε οὖν κατασοφισώμεθα αὐτούς μήποτε πληθυνθῇ καί ἡνίκα ἂν συμβῇ ἡμῖν πόλεμος προστεθήσονται καὶ οὗτοι πρὸς τοὺς ὑπεναντίους καὶ ἐκπολεμήσαντες ἡμᾶς ἐξελεύσονται ἐκ τῆς γῆς
來吧，我們要用巧計對付他們，免得他們再增多；一旦有戰事臨到我們，這些人也必加入我們仇敵那一邊，把我們打敗，然後離開這地。
“Come then, let us outwit them, lest they multiply; and whenever war befalls us, these also will join our adversaries, and having fought us they will go out of the land.”
1:11
καὶ ἐπέστησεν αὐτοῖς ἐπιστάτας τῶν ἔργων ἵνα κακώσωσιν αὐτοὺς ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις καὶ ᾠκοδόμησαν πόλεις ὀχυρὰς τῷ Φαραω τήν τε Πιθωμ καὶ Ραμεσση καὶ Ων ἥ ἐστιν Ἡλίου πόλις
於是他派了工程的監工管轄他們，要用勞役苦害他們。他們就為法老建造了堅固的城，就是比東、蘭塞，和翁；翁就是太陽城。
So he set over them overseers of the works, to afflict them in the works. And they built fortified cities for Pharao: Pithom and Ramesse, and On, which is the City of the Sun.
1:12
καθότι δὲ αὐτοὺς ἐταπείνουν τοσούτῳ πλείους ἐγίνοντο καὶ ἴσχυον σφόδρα σφόδρα καὶ ἐβδελύσσοντο οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
但埃及人越是苦待他們，他們就越發增多，極其強盛；埃及人就因以色列的眾子而心生厭惡。
But the more they humbled them, the more they increased and grew exceedingly strong; and the Egyptians were disgusted because of the sons of Israel.
1:13
καὶ κατεδυνάστευον οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ βίᾳ
埃及人就用暴力轄制以色列的眾子，
And the Egyptians tyrannized the sons of Israel by force,
1:14
καὶ κατωδύνων αὐτῶν τὴν ζωὴν ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις τοῖς σκληροῖς τῷ πηλῷ καὶ τῇ πλινθείᾳ καὶ πᾶσι τοῖς ἔργοις τοῖς ἐν τοῖς πεδίοις κατὰ πάντα τὰ ἔργα ὧν κατεδουλοῦντο αὐτοὺς μετὰ βίας
用苦工使他們的生活充滿痛苦：和泥、作磚，以及田野間的一切工作；他們用暴力強迫他們作各樣的工。
and they made their life bitter with hard works—with the clay and the brickmaking and all the works in the fields—in all the works with which they enslaved them by force.
1:15
καὶ εἶπεν ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Αἰγυπτίων ταῖς μαίαις τῶν Εβραίων τῇ μιᾷ αὐτῶν ᾗ ὄνομα Σεπφωρα καὶ τὸ ὄνομα τῆς δευτέρας Φουα
埃及王對希伯來人的接生婦說話，她們其中一個名叫西普拉，第二個名叫富阿。
And the king of the Egyptians spoke to the midwives of the Hebrews, of whom the one was named Sepphora and the name of the second was Phoua,
1:16
καὶ εἶπεν ὅταν μαιοῦσθε τὰς Εβραίας καὶ ὦσιν πρὸς τῷ τίκτειν ἐὰν μὲν ἄρσεν ᾖ ἀποκτείνατε αὐτό ἐὰν δὲ θῆλυ περιποιεῖσθε αὐτό
他說：你們為希伯來婦人接生的時候，她們將要生產之際，若是男的，就把他殺了；若是女的，就讓她存活。
and he said, “When you act as midwives to the Hebrew women and they are about to give birth, if it is a male, kill it; but if it is a female, preserve it.”
1:17
ἐφοβήθησαν δὲ αἱ μαῖαι τὸν θεὸν καὶ οὐκ ἐποίησαν καθότι συνέταξεν αὐταῖς ὁ βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐζωογόνουν τὰ ἄρσενα
但接生婦敬畏神，沒有照埃及王所吩咐她們的去做，竟讓男嬰存活。
But the midwives feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt had ordered them, but let the males live.
1:18
ἐκάλεσεν δὲ ὁ βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου τὰς μαίας καὶ εἶπεν αὐταῖς τί ὅτι ἐποιήσατε τὸ πρᾶγμα τοῦτο καὶ ἐζωογονεῖτε τὰ ἄρσενα
埃及王召了接生婦來，對她們說：你們為什麼做了這事，讓男嬰存活呢？
So the king of Egypt called the midwives and said to them, “Why is it that you have done this thing and let the males live?”
1:19
εἶπαν δὲ αἱ μαῖαι τῷ Φαραω οὐχ ὡς γυναῖκες Αἰγύπτου αἱ Εβραῖαι τίκτουσιν γὰρ πρὶν ἢ εἰσελθεῖν πρὸς αὐτὰς τὰς μαίας καὶ ἔτικτον
接生婦對法老說：希伯來婦人不像埃及的婦人；接生婦還沒有到她們那裡，她們就生了。她們就這樣一直生育。
And the midwives said to Pharao, “The Hebrew women are not like the women of Egypt, for they give birth before the midwives come in to them.” And so they kept bearing children.
1:20
εὖ δὲ ἐποίει ὁ θεὸς ταῖς μαίαις καὶ ἐπλήθυνεν ὁ λαὸς καὶ ἴσχυεν σφόδρα
神厚待那些接生婦；百姓增多，極其強盛。
And God dealt well with the midwives; and the people multiplied and grew very strong.
1:21
ἐπειδὴ ἐφοβοῦντο αἱ μαῖαι τὸν θεόν ἐποίησαν ἑαυταῖς οἰκίας
因為那些接生婦敬畏神，她們就為自己建立了家室。
Since the midwives feared God, they made houses for themselves.
1:22
συνέταξεν δὲ Φαραω παντὶ τῷ λαῷ αὐτοῦ λέγων πᾶν ἄρσεν ὃ ἐὰν τεχθῇ τοῖς Εβραίοις εἰς τὸν ποταμὸν ῥίψατε καὶ πᾶν θῆλυ ζωογονεῖτε αὐτό
法老吩咐他的眾民說：希伯來人所生的每一個男孩，你們都要丟進河裡；每一個女孩，你們都要讓她存活。
Then Pharao ordered all his people, saying, “Every male that is born to the Hebrews, throw into the river; but every female, let it live.”
