At that time, says the Lord, they shall bring out from their graves the bones of the kings of Iouda and the bones of his rulers and the bones of the priests and the bones of the prophets and the bones of the inhabitants of Ierousalem.
And they shall spread them out to dry before the sun and the moon and before all the stars and before all the host of heaven, which they loved and which they served and after which they walked and to which they clung and which they worshiped. They shall not be mourned nor buried, but shall become an example on the face of the earth.
Give ear now and listen. Will they not speak thus? There is no one repenting of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? The runner has left off from his course, like a sweating horse in his neighing.
And the asida in the sky knew her season; turtledove and swallow, sparrows of the field, kept the times of their coming; but my people did not know the judgments of the Lord.
And they shall gather their produce, says the Lord: there are no grapes on the vines, and there are no figs on the fig trees, and the leaves have fallen off.
Why are we sitting still? Gather together, and let us enter into the fortified cities, and let us be cast away there; for God has cast us away and given us water of gall to drink, because we sinned before him.
From Dan we shall hear the sound of the swiftness of his horses; at the sound of the neighing of the riding of his horses the whole earth quaked. And he shall come and devour the land and its fullness, the city and those who dwell in it.
Behold, the sound of the cry of the daughter of my people from a distant land: Is the Lord not in Sion? Or is the king not there? Why did they provoke me to anger with their carved images and with foreign vanities?

διῆλθενθέροςπαρῆλθενἄμητοςκαὶἡμεῖςοὐδιεσώθημεν
夏天已過,收割已完,我們還未得救。
Summer has gone by, harvest has passed, and we were not saved.
Who will give water to my head and to my eyes a fountain of tears? Then I would weep for this my people day and night, for the wounded of the daughter of my people.
