23:1
ወኢትሑር፡ በፍኖተ፡ ቃየን፡ ዘቀተለ፡ እኅዋሁ፡ ዘበየዋሃት፡ ተለዎ፡ እንዘ፡ ይመስሎ፡ ዘያፈክሮ፡ እኁሁ።
And do not walk in the way of Cain, who slew his brother who in his innocence followed him, supposing that his brother loved him.
你不要行在該隱的道路上，他殺了那無辜跟從他、以為弟兄愛他的弟兄。
23:2
ወውእቱኒ፡ ቀተሎ፡ ለእኁሁ፡ በቅንዓተብእሲት፡ ወከማሁ፡ እለይገብሩ፡ ዓመፃ፡ ወቅን፡ ዓተ፡ ወኅብለ፡ ዲበ፡ ቢጾሙ።
And he slew his brother out of jealousy for a woman; and likewise those who work iniquity and envy and deceit against their neighbours.
他為一個婦人的緣故出於嫉妒殺了弟兄；那些向鄰舍行不義、嫉妒與詭詐的人也是如此。
23:3
ወሖሩ፡ በፍኖተ፡ ቃየን፡ ወአኮ፡ በፍኖተ፡ አቤል፡ የዋህ፡ እስመ፡ አቤሐሰ፡ የዋህ፡ ከመ፡ በግዕ፡ ወደሚኒ፡ ከመ፡ ደመ፡ በግዕ፡ ንጹሕ፡ ዘሦዑ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ በንጹሕ፡ ልብ።
And they walked in the way of Cain and not in the way of Abel the meek; for Abel was meek like a lamb, and his blood was like the blood of a pure lamb which they sacrifice to the Lord with a pure heart.
他們行在該隱的道路上，不行在溫柔之亞伯的道路上；因為亞伯溫柔如同羔羊，他的血如同人以清潔的心獻給主那純潔羔羊的血。
23:4
ወአለሰ፡ የሐውሩ፡ በፍኖተ፡ አቤል፡ የዋህ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ያፈቅርዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ እስመ፡ ኮኑ፡ የዋሃነ፡ ከመ፡ አቤል፡ እስመ፡ ለኵሉ፡ ዘየሐውር፡ በየውሐተ፡ ያፈቅሮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ አቤል፡ ጻድቅ፡ ወየዋህ።
But those who walk in the way of Abel the meek, they love the Lord, for they have become meek like Abel; for everyone who walks in meekness, the Lord loves him like Abel the righteous and meek.
惟有那些行在溫柔之亞伯道路上的人，他們愛主，因為他們已成為溫柔，像亞伯一樣；因為凡以溫柔而行的人，主必愛他，像愛那公義溫柔的亞伯一樣。
23:5
ወለእኩያንሰ፡ ይትሔየዮሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወጽኑሕ፡ ደይኖሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ክሣውዲሆሙ፡ መጽሑፍ፡ በመታክፍቲሆሙ፡ ወያነብብዋ፡ አመ፡ ኵነኒ፡ በቅድመ፡ መላእክት፡ ወሰብእ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ፍጥረት።
But the evil ones the Lord despises, and their judgment is heavy; upon their necks there shall be a writing on their shoulders, and they shall read it in the day of judgment before the angels and men and all creation.
惟有作惡的人，主必厭棄他們，他們的審判沉重；他們的頸項、肩上要有一卷字據，到審判之日，他們要在眾天使、眾人並一切受造之物面前誦讀它。
23:6
አሜሃኪ፡ የኃፍሩ፡ ዓላውያን፡ ወኣማፅያን፡ እለ፡ ኢገብሩ፡ ፈቃዶ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር።
In that day the rebels and the unrighteous shall be put to shame, who did not do the will of the Lord.
到那日，那些不遵行主旨意的悖逆者與不義的人，都要蒙羞。
23:7
ወትትወሀቦሙ፡ ቃለ፡ ወደንግፅ፡ ዘይብል፡ ደይዎሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵነኔ፡ ነደ፡ እሳት፡ ኀበ፡ አልቦቱ፡ ሙፃዕ፡ እስከ፡ ለዓለም።
And to them shall be given a word of terror, saying, Cast them into the judgment of the flame of fire, where there is no escape for ever.
那時必有一句使人驚惶的話臨到他們，說：「把他們扔進火焰的刑罰裡，在那裡永無逃脫的指望。」
