27:1
ብዙኃን፡ እለ፡ በአድልዎ፡ ይገብርዋ፡ ለኀጢአት፡ ወዘሰ፡ ይፈቅድ፡ ይትባዛኅ፡ ይመይጥ፡ ዐይኖ።
Many have sinned for a thing indifferent; And he that seeks to multiply gain will turn his eye away.
許多人為財利犯罪，貪圖多得的人必轉眼不顧公義。
27:2
ማእከለ፡ ንድቀ፡ አእባን፡ ይተክሉ፡ መትከለ፡ ወማእከለ፡ ሤጥ፡ ወተግባር፡ ትመጽእ፡ ኀጢአት።
A nail will stick fast between the joinings of stones; And sin will thrust itself in between buying and selling.
釘子緊插在石頭的縫隙之間，照樣，罪也夾在買賣之間。
27:3
ለእመ፡ ኢያፍጠነ፡ ተዐቅቦ፡ በፍርሀተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኢይጐነዲ፡ ተገፍትኦ፡ ቤቱ።
Unless a man hold on diligently in the fear of the Lord, His house will soon be overthrown.
人若不殷勤持守敬畏主的心，他的家必迅速傾覆。
27:4
ውስተ፡ መንጠፍት፡ ይጥሕል፡ ሐሠረ፡ ከማሁ፡ ሰብእኒ፡ እምኅሊናሁ፡ ተረክበ፡ ርስሐቱ።
In the shaking of a sieve, the refuse remains; So the filth of man in his reasoning.
篩子搖動時，糠秕便留下；照樣，人的污穢也在他的言談中顯露。
27:5
ለንዋየ፡ ለብሓኒ፡ እሳት፡ ይፈትኖ፡ ወለሰብእኒ፡ ኅሊና፡ ልቡ፡ ያሜክሮ።
The furnace will prove the potter’s vessels; And the trial of a man is in his reasoning.
窯爐試驗陶匠的器皿，言談也試驗人。
27:6
ዐቃቢሁ፡ ለቀምሕ፡ ይሬኢ፡ ፍሬሁ፡ ከማሁ፡ ቃሉ፡ ለሰብእ፡ ይከሥቶ፡ ፍትወተ፡ ልቡ።
The fruit of a tree declares the husbandry thereof; So is the utterance of the thought of the heart of a man.
樹上的果子顯明栽種的工夫，人心中所思想的也藉言語顯露。
27:7
እንበለ፡ ትጠይቆ፡ ለሰብእ፡ ኢትንአዶ፡ እስመ፡ ግዕዙ፡ ያሜክርዎ፡ ለሰብእ።
Praise no man before you hear him reason; For this is the trial of men.
未聽人言談之前，不要稱讚他，因為這正是試驗人的方法。
27:8
ለእመ፡ ዴገንካ፡ ለጽድቅ፡ ትረክባ፡ ወትለብሳ፡ ከመ፡ ልብሰ፡ ጶዴር፡ ዘክቡር።
If you follow righteousness, you will obtain her, And put her on, as a long robe of glory.
你若追求公義，必能得著她，並將她如榮耀的長袍穿上。
27:9
አዕዋፍኒ፡ ምስለ፡ ዘመዱ፡ የኀድር፡ ወጽድቅኒ፡ ኀበ፡ እለ፡ ይገብርዋ፡ ተሐውር።
Birds will resort to their like; And truth will return to those who practise her.
飛鳥棲於同類之中，真理也歸向實行它的人。
27:10
ዐንበሳ፡ ይንዑ፡ ዘይበልዕ፡ ከማሁ፡ ኀጢአትኒ፡ ትንዕዎሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ይገብርዋ።
The lion lies in wait for prey; So does sin for those who work iniquity.
獅子埋伏等候獵物，照樣，罪也埋伏等候作惡的人。
27:11
ጻድቅሰ፡ ይሜህር፡ ዘልፈ፡ ጥበበ፡ ወአብድሰ፡ ባሕቱ፡ እንተ፡ ጸብሐት፡ የሐጽጽ፡ ልቡ፡ ከመ፡ ወርኅ።
The discourse of a godly man is always wisdom: But the foolish man changes as the moon.
敬虔人的言談常是智慧，愚人卻如月亮般變幻不定。
27:12
በኀበ፡ አብዳን፡ ተዐቀብ፡ ጊዜሁ፡ ወበኀበ፡ ጠቢባን፡ ተጠየቅ፡ በኵሉ፡ ጊዜ።
Among men void of understanding observe the opportunity; But stay continually among the thoughtful.
在無見識的人中間，要留心把握時機；在思慮周詳的人中間，卻要常常逗留。
27:13
ነገሮሙ፡ ለአብዳን፡ ያስተቋጥዕ፡ ወሠሐቆሙኒ፡ ፍግዐ፡ ኀጢአት።
The discourse of fools is an offence; And their laughter is in the wantonness of sin.
愚人的言談令人生厭，他們的嬉笑出於放縱的罪。
27:14
ነገሩ፡ ለዘ፡ ብዙኀ፡ ይምሕል፡ ያንሦጥጥ፡ ሥዕርተ፡ ወላኳሆሙኒ፡ ያጸምም፡ እዝነ።
The talk of a man of many oaths will make the hair stand upright; And their strife makes one stop his ears.
好起誓之人的言語使人毛髮直豎，他們的爭鬧使人塞耳不聽。
27:15
ያክዑ፡ ደመ፡ ላኳሆሙ፡ ለዕቡያን፡ ወጋእዞሙ፡ ስራሕ፡ ለዘይሰምዖሙ።
The strife of the proud is a shedding of blood; And their reviling of each other is a grievous thing to hear.
驕傲人的爭鬥導致流血，他們彼此的辱罵令人不堪入耳。
27:16
ዘከሠተ፡ ምክረ፡ ቢጹ፡ ሀጕለ፡ ሃይማኖቶሙ፡ ወኢይረክብ፡ እንከ፡ ዐርከ፡ ዘከመ፡ ልቡ።
He that reveals secrets destroys credit, And will not find a friend to his mind.
洩露祕密的人毀了信任，必尋不著合他心意的朋友。
27:17
ዕቀብ፡ ዐርከከ፡ ወተአመን፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ወለእመሰ፡ ከሠትከ፡ ምክሮ፡ ኢትዴግኖ፡(እንከ፡ወኢትትልዎ፡)ድኅሬሁ።
Love a friend, and keep faith with him: But if you reveal his secrets, You shall not pursue after him;
要愛護朋友，向他守信；你若洩露了他的祕密，就不要再追隨他。
27:18
ከመ፡ ሀጕለ፡ ሰብእ፡ ጸላኢሁ፡ ከማሁ፡ ሀጐልካሁ፡ አንተኒ፡ ታእኃሁ፡ ለዐርክከ።
For as a man has destroyed his enemy, So have you destroyed the friendship of your neighbor.
正如人喪失了死去的親人，你也照樣喪失了與鄰舍的友誼。
27:19
ከመ፡ ዖፍ፡ እንተ፡ ታመሥጠከ፡ እምእዴከ፡ ከማሁ፡ ሰረረ፡ እምኔከ፡ ዐርክከ።
And as a bird which you have loosed out of your hand, So have you let your neighbor go, and you will not catch him again:
又如你放走了手中的飛鳥，你也照樣放走了鄰舍，再也捉不回他。
27:20
ወኢትዴግኖ፡ እንከ፡ እስመ፡ ነዋኅ፡ ኀበ፡ አምሠጠከ፡ ከመ፡ አምሠጠት፡ ምዳቊ፡ እምነ፡ ማዕገት።
Pursue him not, for he is gone far away, And has escaped as a gazelle out of the snare.
不要追趕他，因為他已遠去，如同羚羊脫離了網羅。
27:21
ሶበሰ፡ ቊስል፡ ውእቱ፡ እምፈወስዎ፡ ወለዘኒ፡ ተጽዕለ፡ ያስተማውጽዎ፡ ወለዘሰ፡ ከሠተ፡ ምክረተ፡ ቢጹ፡ ይቀብጽዎ።
For a wound may be bound up, and after reviling there may be a reconcilement; But he that reveals secrets has lost hope.
因為傷口可以包紮，辱罵之後仍有復和；惟有洩露祕密的人，已經斷絕了指望。
27:22
ዘይቀጽብ፡ በዐይኑ፡ ኢይሤኒ፡ ኅሊናሁ፡ አልቦ፡ ዘይክል፡ አኅደጎተ፡ እከዩ።
One that winks with the eye contriveth evil things; And no man will remove him from it.
以眼示意的人謀劃惡事，無人能使他停止。
27:23
ለዐይንከሰ፡ ያጥዕም፡ ለከ፡ አፉሁ፡ ወበኵሉ፡ ዘነበብከ፡ ይንእደከ፡ ወድኅረ፡ የዐልወከ፡ ቃሎ፡ ወያስሕተከ፡ በቃልከ፡ እንተ፡ ነበብከ።
When you are present, he will speak sweetly, And will admire your words; But afterward he will writhe his mouth, And set a trap for you in your words.
當你在場時，他口出甜言，並讚賞你的話語；後來卻扭曲他的口，並在你的言語上設下絆腳石。
27:24
ብዙኃን፡ እለ፡ ጸላእኩ፡ ወአኮሰ፡ ከማሁ፡ ወእግዚአብሔርኒ፡ ጸልአ፡ ኪያሁ።
I have hated many things, but nothing like him; And the Lord will hate him.
我憎惡許多事，卻沒有一樣像憎惡他；主也必憎惡他。
27:25
ዘይወግር፡ እብነ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ትወርድ፡ ዲበ፡ ርእሱ፡ መቅሠፍተ፡ ዐመፃሰ፡ ይትዐወቅ፡ ቊስሉ።
One that casts a stone on high casts it on his own head; And a deceitful stroke will open wounds.
向高處扔石頭的，是扔在自己頭上；詭詐的擊打必裂開傷口。
27:26
ዘከረየ፡ ግበ፡(ለቢጹ፡)ለሊሁ፡ ይወድቅ፡ ውስቴቱ፡ ወዘኒ፡ ወርዐ፡ መሥገርተ፡ ውእቱ፡ ይሠግር፡ ቦቱ።
He that digs a pit will fall into it; And he that sets a snare will be taken therein.
挖坑的，自己必掉在其中；設網羅的，自己必被纏住。
27:28
ኀጢአት፡ ጸዐሎሙ፡ ወሠሐቆሙ፡ ለዕቡያን፡ ከመ፡ ዐንበሳ፡ ትንፅዎሙ፡ ወትትቤቀሎሙ።
Mockery and reproach are from the haughty; And vengeance, as a lion, will lie in wait for him.
譏誚與辱罵出自狂傲的人，報應卻如獅子埋伏等候他。
27:29
በመሥገርት፡ ይሠግሩ፡ እለ፡ ይትፌሥሑ፡ በድቀቱ፡ ለጻድቅ፡ መቅሠፍት፡ ይመስዎሙ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ይብጽሖሙ፡ ጊዜ፡ ሞቶሙ።
They that rejoice at the fall of the godly will be taken in a snare; And anguish will consume them before they die.
那因敬虔人傾倒而歡喜的人必落在網羅中，痛苦必在他們死前吞滅他們。
27:30
መዐትኒ፡ ወቊጥዓ፡ ርኵሳን፡ እሙንቱ፡ ወበኀበ፡ ብእሲ፡ ኃጥእ፡ ይሄልዉ።
Wrath and anger, these also are abominations; And a sinful man will possess them.
惱恨與忿怒也都是可憎的，罪人卻被它們所轄制。
