5-9:9
Job, persuaded that he suffered by the judgment of God, and having said, 'As the Lord lives, who has thus judged me,' confesses that the wisdom concerning the judgments of God is incomprehensible—not only to himself, but to every man—and that the earthly place, defiled with sins, is not capable of receiving the knowledge of the counsel of God. These things he says as though addressing his friends, who supposed they had grasped the cause for which he suffered these things.
