The children, of either sex, both of a demented (demens) and of an insane (furiosus) person can contract lawful marriage, the dowry as well as the ante-nuptial donation being furnished by their curator: the valuation, however, being determined in this royal city by the most excellent Prefect of the City, but in the provinces by the most illustrious governors of them or by the prelates of the places — both as regards the estimation of the person and the measure of the dowry and of the ante-nuptial donation — in the presence of the curators both of the demented and of the insane, as well as of those who are nobler among their kindred;

ita tamen, ut nulla ex hac causa oriatur, vel in hac regia urbe, vel in provinciis jactura substantiæ furiosi, vel dementis, vel mente capti, sed gratis omnia procedant, ne tale hominum infortunium etiam expensarum detrimento prægravetur.
yet on this condition: that no loss of the property of the insane, or demented, or mentally afflicted person arise from this cause, whether in this royal city or in the provinces, but that all things proceed without charge, lest such a misfortune of these men be further burdened also by the detriment of expenses.
然須以此為條件：無論在此皇都或在各行省，皆不得因此事而使精神失常者、心智喪失者、或心神喪失者的財產蒙受任何損失，而當一切無償進行，免得此等不幸之人更因費用之耗損而加重其累。
