12:1
እምቅድመ፡ ኵሉ፡ ነገር፡ ተከብተ፡ ሄኖክ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘየአምር፡ እምውሉደ፡ ሰብእ፡ በኀበ፡ ተከብተ፡ ወኀበ፡ ሀሎ፡ ወምንተ፡ ኮነ።
在這些事以前，以諾被隱藏起來，世人中沒有一個知道他被藏在何處、住在哪裡、後來怎麼了。
Before these things Enoch was hidden, and no one of the children of men knew where he was hidden, and where he abode, and what had become of him.
12:2
ወኵሉ፡ ግብሩ፡ ምስለ፡ ቅዱሳን፡ ወምስለ፡ ትጉሃን፡ በመዋዕለ፡ ዚኣሁ።
他一切的活動都與守望者有關，他的日子都與聖者同在。
And his activities had to do with the Watchers, and his days were with the holy ones.
12:3
ወአነ፡ ሄኖክ፡ ኮንኩ፡ እባርኮ፡ ለእግዚእ፡ ዐቢይ፡ ወለንጉሠ፡ ዓለም፡ ወናሁ፡ ትጉሃን፡ ይጼውዑኒ፡ ሊተ፡ ለሄኖክ፡ ጸሓፊ፡ ወይቤሉኒ።
我以諾正在稱頌那威嚴的主、萬世的王；看哪，守望者呼喚我這作文士的以諾，對我說：
And I Enoch was blessing the Lord of majesty and the King of the ages, and lo! the Watchers called me—Enoch the scribe—and said to me:
12:4
ሄኖክ፡ ጸሓፌ፡ ጽድቅ፡ ሑር፡ አይድዕ፡ ለትጉሃነ፡ ሰማይ፡ እለ፡ ኀደጉ፡ ሰማየ፡ ልዑለ፡ ወምቅዋመ፡ ቅዱሰ፡ ዘለዓለም፡ ወምስለ፡ አንስት፡ ማሰኑ፡ ወገብሩ፡ ዘከመ፡ ይገብሩ፡ ውሉደ፡ ሰብእ፡ ወነሥኡ፡ ሎሙ፡ አንስተ፡ ወማሰኑ፡ ዐቢየ፡ ሙስና፡ በዲበ፡ ምድር።
「以諾，公義的文士啊，你去向天上的守望者宣告，就是那些離棄高天、聖潔永遠之所，與婦女一同玷污自己、像地上的人一樣行事、為自己娶妻的天使：
‘Enoch, thou scribe of righteousness, go, †declare† to the Watchers of the heaven who have left the high heaven, the holy eternal place, and have defiled themselves with women, and have done as the children of earth do, and have taken unto themselves wives:
12:5
ወኢይከውን፡ ሎሙ፡ በዲበ፡ ምድር፡ ሰላም፡ ወኅድገተ፡ ኀጢአት።
『你們在地上行了極大的毀滅，必不得平安，罪也不得赦免；你們既以自己的兒女為樂，
“Ye have wrought great destruction on the earth: And ye shall have no peace nor forgiveness of sin: and inasmuch as †they† delight themselves in †their† children,
12:6
እስመ፡ ይትፌሥሑ፡ በውሉዶሙ፡ ቀትለ፡ ፍቁራኒሆሙ፡ ይሬእዩ፡ ወዲበ፡ ሀጕለ፡ ውሉዶሙ፡ ይግዕሩ፡ ወይስእሉ፡ ለዓለም፡ ወኢይከውን፡ ሎሙ፡ ምሕረት፡ ወኢ፡ ሰላም።
就必親眼看見自己所愛之人被殺，必為兒女的滅亡而哀慟，必永遠哀求，然而你們卻得不著憐憫與平安。』」
The murder of †their† beloved ones shall †they† see, and over the destruction of †their† children shall †they† lament, and shall make supplication unto eternity, but mercy and peace shall ye not attain.”’
