18:1
ወርኢኩ፡ መዛግብተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ነፋሳት፡ ወርኢኩ፡ ከመ፡ ቦሙ፡ አሰርገወ፡ ኵሎ፡ ፍጥረተ፡ ወመሠረታቲሃ፡ ለምድር።
我看見一切風的庫房；我看見祂如何藉這些風裝飾了全部受造之物，奠定了大地的根基。
I saw the treasuries of all the winds: I saw how He had furnished with them the whole creation and the firm foundations of the earth.
18:2
ወርኢኩ፡ እብነ፡ ማእዘንተ፡ ምድር፡ ወርኢኩ፡ አርባዕተ፡ ነፋሳተ፡ እለ፡ ይጸውርዋ፡ ለምድር፡ ወለጽንዐ፡ ሰማይ።
我看見大地的房角石，又看見那托住大地與天之穹蒼的四風。
And I saw the corner-stone of the earth: I saw the four winds which bear [the earth and] the firmament of the heaven.
18:3
ወርኢኩ፡ ከመ፡ ነፋሳት፡ ይረብብዋ፡ ለልዕልና፡ ሰማይ፡ ወእሙንቱ፡ ይቀውሙ፡ ማእከለ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወምድር፡ ወእሙንቱ፡ ውእቶሙ፡ አዕማደ፡ ሰማይ።
我看見眾風如何張開高天的穹蒼，立於天地之間，這些風就是天的柱子。
And I saw how the winds stretch out the vaults of heaven, and have their station between heaven and earth: these are the pillars of the heaven.
18:4
ወርኢኩ፡ ነፋሳተ፡ እለ፡ ይመይጥዋ፡ ለሰማይ፡ እለ፡ ያዐርቡ፡ ክበበ፡ ፀሓይ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ከዋክብተ።
我看見那旋轉諸天的眾風，引導日輪與眾星歸於落下之處。
I saw the winds of heaven which turn and bring the circumference of the sun and all the stars to their setting.
18:5
ወርኢኩ፡ ዘዲበ፡ ምድር፡ ነፋሳተ፡ ዘይጸውሩ፡ ደመናተ፡ ወርኢኩ፡ ፍናወ፡ መላእክት፡ ወርኢኩ፡ ውስተ፡ ጽንፈ፡ ምድር፡ ጽንዐ፡ ዘሰማይ፡ መልዕልተ።
我看見地上託負雲彩的眾風；我看見眾天使的路徑；我又在地的盡頭看見上面那天之穹蒼。
I saw the winds on the earth carrying the clouds: I saw the paths of the angels. I saw at the end of the earth the firmament of the heaven above.
18:6
ወኀለፍኩ፡ መንገለ፡ አዜብ፡ ወይነድድ፡ መዓልተ፡ ወሌሊተ፡ ኀበ፡ ሰብዐቱ፡ አድባር፡ ዘእምእብን፡ ክቡር፡ ሠለስቱ፡ ዘመንገለ፡ ጽባሕ፡ ወሠለስቱ፡ ዘመንገለ፡ አዜብ።
我往南行去，到一處晝夜燃燒的地方，那裡有七座由華美寶石造成的山，三座向東，三座向南。
And I proceeded and saw a place which burns day and night, where there are seven mountains of magnificent stones, three towards the east, and three towards the south.
18:7
ወዘመንገለ፡ ጽባሕሰ፡ ዘእምእብነ፡ ኅብር፡ ወአሐዱ፡ ዘእምእብን፡ ባሕር፡ ወአሐዱኒ፡ ዘእምእብነ፡ ፈውስ፡ ወዘመንገለ፡ አዜብ፡ እምእብን፡ ቀይሕ።
向東的那幾座，一座是彩色寶石造的，一座是珍珠造的，一座是醫石造的；向南的那幾座則是紅寶石造的。
And as for those towards the east, 〈one〉 was of coloured stone, and one of pearl, and one of jacinth, and those towards the south of red stone.
18:8
ወማእከላይሰ፡ ይጐድእ፡ እስከ፡ ሰማይ፡ ከመ፡ መንበሩ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ዘእምእብነ፡ ፔካ፡ ወድማኁ፡ ለመንበሩ፡ እምእብነ፡ ሰንፔር።
中間那一座直達諸天，如同神的寶座，是雪花石膏所造，寶座的頂端是藍寶石造的。
But the middle one reached to heaven like the throne of God, of alabaster, and the summit of the throne was of sapphire.
18:9
ወእሳተ፡ ዘይነድድ፡ ርኢኩ፡ ወዘሀሎ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ አድባር።
我又看見烈火，遍佈於一切山中。
And I saw a flaming fire.
18:10
ወርኢኩ፡ ህየ፡ መካን፡ ማዕዶቱ፡ ለዐቢይ፡ ምድር፡ ህየ፡ ይትጋብኡ፡ ማያት።
我在那裡看見一處地方，是大地之外的盡頭，眾水都在那裡聚集。
And beyond these mountains Is a region the end of the great earth: there the heavens were completed.
18:11
ወርኢኩ፡ ንቅዐተ፡ ምድር፡ ዕሙቀ፡ በአዕማዲሁ፡ ለእሳተ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወርኢኩ፡ በውስቴቶሙ፡ አዕማደ፡ ሰማይ፡ ዘእሳት፡ ዘይወርዱ፡ ወአልቦሙ፡ ኍልቊ፡ ኢ፡ መንገለ፡ መልዕልት፡ ወኢ፡ መንገለ፡ ዕመቅ።
我看見大地的裂口極深，其中有天火的柱子，我看見其間有火柱降下，無論向上向下，皆無可量度。
And I saw a deep abyss, with columns of heavenly fire, and among them I saw columns of fire fall, which were beyond measure alike towards the height and towards the depth.
18:12
ወዲበ፡ ውእቱ፡ ንቅዐት፡ ርኢኩ፡ መካነ፡ ወኢ፡ ጽንዐ፡ ሰማይ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ወኢ፡ መሠረተ፡ ምድር፡ በታሕቴሁ፡ ወኢ፡ ማይ፡ አልቦ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ወኢ፡ አዕዋፈ፡ አላ፡ መካነ፡ በድው፡ ውእቱ።
在那裂口之上，我看見一處地方，其上沒有天的穹蒼，其下沒有奠定的大地，其上無水，也無飛鳥，只是一片荒涼之地。
And beyond that abyss I saw a place which had no firmament of the heaven above, and no firmly founded earth beneath it: there was no water upon it, and no birds, but it was a waste and horrible place.
18:13
ወግሩመ፡ ርኢኩ፡ በህየ፡ ሰብዐተ፡ ከዋክብተ፡ ከመ፡ ዐበይት፡ አድባር፡ ዘይነድዱ፡ ወከመ፡ መንፈስ፡ ዘይሴአለኒ።
我在那裡看見可畏的景象：七顆星宿如同燃燒的大山，又如向我發問的靈。
I saw there seven stars like great burning mountains, and to me, when I inquired regarding them,
18:14
ይቤ፡ መልአክ፡ ዝ፡ ውእቱ፡ መካነ፡ ተፍጻሜቱ፡ ለሰማይ፡ ወለምድር፡ ቤተ፡ ሞቅሕ፡ ኮኖሙ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ለከዋክብተ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወለኀይለ፡ ሰማይ።
天使說：「這地方就是天地的盡頭，這裡成了天上眾星與天軍的監牢。
The angel said: ‘This place is the end of heaven and earth: this has become a prison for the stars and the host of heaven.
18:15
ወከዋክብት፡ እለ፡ ያንኰረኵሩ፡ ዲበ፡ እሳት፡ ወእሉ፡ እሙንቱ፡ እለ፡ ኀለፉ፡ ትእዛዘ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እምቅድመ፡ ጽባሖሙ፡ እስመ፡ ኢመጽኡ፡ በጊዜሆሙ።
那些在火上滾動的星宿，就是違背了主命令的，因為他們在當升起之初並未按所定的時候出來。
And the stars which roll over the fire are they which have transgressed the commandment of the Lord in the beginning of their rising, because they did not come forth at their appointed times.
18:16
ወተምዕዖሙ፡ ወአሰሮሙ፡ እስከ፡ ጊዜ፡ ተፍጻሜተ፡ ኀጢአቶሙ፡ በዓመተ፡ ምሥጢር።
祂向他們發怒，將他們捆綁，直到他們罪孽了結的時候，就是奧祕之年滿足的時候。」
And He was wroth with them, and bound them till the time when their guilt should be consummated (even) for ten thousand years.’
