11:1
ይከብር፡ ነዳይ፡ በጥበቢሁ፡ ወይነብር፡ ማእከለ፡ መኳንንት።
卑微之人的智慧必使他抬起頭來，使他坐在權貴之中。
The wisdom of the lowly will lift up his head, And make him to sit in the midst of great men.
11:2
ኢታድሉ፡ ለሰብእ፡ እንበይነ፡ ላሕዩ፡ ወኢታስተአክዮ፡ ለሰብእ፡ እንበይነ፡ ሕሠሚሁ።
不要因人的美貌而稱讚他，也不要因人的外表而厭惡他。
Commend not a man for his beauty; And abhor not a man for his outward appearance.
11:3
እምኵሉ፡ አዕዋፍ፡ ትንዕስ፡ ንህብ፡ ወእምኵሉ፡ ይጥዕም፡ ፍሬሃ።
蜜蜂在飛蟲中是微小的，牠的果實卻是甘甜之物中最美的。
The bee is little among such as fly; And her fruit is the chief of sweetmeats.
11:4
ኢትዘኀር፡ በሥነ፡ አልባሲከ፡ በመዋዕለ፡ ክብርከኒ፡ ኢታዕቢ፡ ርእሰከ፡ እስመ፡ ነኪር፡ ግብሩ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወኅቡእ፡ እምዕጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ኪኑ።
不要因身穿華服而誇口，也不要在尊榮之日高抬自己；因為主的作為奇妙，他的工作向人是隱藏的。
Glory not in the putting on of raiment, And exalt not yourself in the day of honor; For the works of the Lord are wonderful, And his works are hidden among men.
11:5
ብዙኃን፡ መኳንንት፡ እለ፡ ወድቁ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር፡ ወቦ፡ ባሕታዊ፡ ዘተቀጸለ፡ አክሊለ።
許多君王曾坐在塵土之上，意想不到的人卻戴上了冠冕。
Many kings have sat down upon the ground; And one that was never thought of has worn a diadem.
11:6
ብዙኃን፡ ዐበይት፡ እለ፡ ኀሥሩ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ ወብዙኃን፡ ክቡራን፡ እለ፡ ገብኡ፡ ታሕተ፡ ባዕድ።
許多權貴大大受辱，有名望的人被交在別人手中。
Many mighty men have been greatly disgraced; And men of renown have been delivered into other men’s hands.
11:7
ኢትኂስ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ትሕትቶ፡ ጠይቅ፡ ቅድመ፡ ወድኅረ፡ ትጌሥጽ።
未經查明之前，不要責備；要先明白，然後才責備。
Blame not before you have examined: Understand first, and then rebuke.
11:8
ዘእንበለ፡ ትስማዕ፡ ኢታውሥእ፡ ወውስተ፡ ነገረ፡ ባዕድ፡ ኢትባእ።
未聽完之前，不要回答；別人說話之間，不要插嘴。
Answer not before you have heard; And interrupt not in the midst of speech.
11:9
ወውስተ፡ ዘኢኮነ፡ ትካዝከ፡ ኢትትኀለፍ፡ ወኢትሳነን፡ በቀስተ፡ ጊጉይ።
與你無關的事，不要爭辯；罪人受審判時，不要與他們同坐。
Strive not in a matter that concerns you not; And where sinners judge, sit not you with them.
11:10
ወልድየ፡ ኢታብዝኅ፡ ተግባረከ፡ እስመ፡ ለእመ፡ አብዛኅከ፡ ትጸደቅ፡ ኢያበውሐከ፡ ወኢታመሥጥ፡ ለእመ፡ ሮጽከ፡ ወኢትረክባ፡ ለእመ፡ ዴገንከ፡ ለጽድቅ።
孩子啊，不要被許多事務纏身；你若多管閒事，就難逃刑罰；你若追趕，也追不上；你即便逃跑，也逃脫不了。
My son, be not busy about many matters: For if you meddle much, you will not be unpunished; And if you pursue, you will not overtake; And you will not escape by fleeing.
11:11
እስመ፡ ቦ፡ ዘይጔጕእ፡ ወይሠርሕ፡ ወይጻሙ፡ ወፈድፋደ፡ ይጼነስ።
有人勞苦、勞碌、奔忙，卻反而越發落後。
There is one that toileth, and labores, and makes haste, And is so much the more behind.
11:12
ወቦ፡ እንዘ፡ ድኩም፡ ውእቱ፡ ኢይስእል፡ ወዘይመልክ፡ ወኢይክል፡ ምንተኒ፡ ወለእመኒ፡ ጸንዐ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ ይጼነስ፡ ወለአመ፡ ነጸሮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በሠናይ፡ ያነሥኦ፡ እምተጽናሱ።
有人遲緩無力，需要扶助，缺乏力量，滿是貧窮；主的眼目卻眷顧他賜福於他，使他從卑微中被扶起。
There is one that is sluggish, and has need of help, Lacking in strength, and that abounds in poverty; And the eyes of the Lord looked upon him for good, And he set him up from his low estate,
11:13
ወያዐብዮ፡ ወያከብሮ፡ ወያነክርዎ፡ ብዙኃን።
主使他抬起頭來，許多人都因他而驚奇。
And lifted up his head; And many marveled at him.
11:14
ሠናይትኒ፡ ወእኪትኒ።
福與禍、生與死、貧窮與富足，都是出於主。
Good things and evil, life and death, Poverty and riches, are from the Lord.
11:15
ሐይውኒ፡ ወመዊትኒ።
智慧、訓誨與律法的知識都在於神，慈愛與善人的道路也都在於他。
Wisdom and discipline and the knowledge of the law are with God; love and the ways of the good are with him.
11:17
ጸጋሁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ትዜውሮሙ፡ ለጻድቃን፡ ወፈቃዱሂ፡ ያስተፌሥሕ፡ ዓለመ።
主的恩賜長存於敬虔的人，他的喜悅必使他們永遠亨通。
The gift of the Lord remains with the godly, And his good pleasure will prosper forever.
11:18
ሀሎ፡ ዘይብዕል፡ በብዝኀ፡ ጠዊዕ፡ ወእንዘ፡ ይቄቂ፡ ወባቲ፡ ይሤልጥ፡ ትፍሥሕቶ።
有人因謹慎與吝嗇而致富，這就是他所得的賞賜：
There is that waxes rich by his wariness and pinching, And this is the portion of his reward:
11:19
ወአመ፡ ተሰፈወ፡ ያዕርፍ፡ ወአመ፡ ይብል፡ እበልዕ፡ ወእሰቲ፡ እንከሰ፡ እፌግዕ፡ ወአእከልኩ፡ ወኢየአምር፡ ዕለት፡ እንተ፡ ትበጽሖ፡ ወየኅድግ፡ ኵሎ፡ ለባዕድ፡ ወይመውት፡ ውእቱ።
當他說：『我已找到安息，如今可以享用我的財物了』，他卻不知道時光將要過去，他必把這些留給別人而死去。
When he says, I have found rest, And now will I eat of my goods; Yet he knows not what time will pass, And he will leave them to others, and die.
11:20
ቁም፡ በፍርሀተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወቦቱ፡ ተመሀር፡ ወርሳዕ፡ በተግባርከ።
你要堅守你的約，常在其中往來，並在你的工作上漸漸變老。
Be stedfast in your covenant, and be conversant therein, And wax old in your work.
11:21
ወኢያፍቱከ፡ ግብሮሙ፡ ለኃጥኣን፡ ተአመን፡ በእግዚአብሔር፡ ወተሰፈዎ፡ ለጻማከ፡ እስመ፡ ቀሊል፡ በኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኵሉ፡ ለምዕር፡ ወግብተ፡ ያብዕሎ፡ ለነዳይ።
不要驚奇罪人的作為，卻要信靠主，恆守你的勞苦；因為在主眼中，使窮人忽然致富乃是輕而易舉的事。
Marvel not at the works of a sinner; But trust the Lord, and abide in your labor: For it is an easy thing in the sight of the Lord swiftly on the sudden to make a poor man rich.
11:22
በረከተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዕሴቶሙ፡ ለጻድቃን፡ ወትትባዛኅ፡ በረከቱ፡ ለጻድቅ።
主的賜福臨到敬虔人所得的賞賜，他必在頃刻之間使他所賜的福興旺。
The blessing of the Lord is in the reward of the godly; And in an hour that comes swiftly he makes his blessing to flourish.
11:23
ወኢትበል፡ ኢይፈቅድ፡ እንከ፡ ወኢትበል፡ አልብየ፡ ዕሴት፡ እንከ።
不要說：『我還需要什麼？從今以後我還能有什麼好處？』
Say not, What use is there of me? And what from henceforth will my good things be?
11:24
እምይእዜሰ፡ አከለኒ፡ ወእምይእዜሰ፡ ኢይጼነስ፡ እንከ።
不要說：『我已經夠了，從今以後還會有什麼災禍臨到我？』
Say not, I have sufficient, And from henceforth what harm will happen to me?
11:25
አመ፡ ዕለተ፡ ሠናይት፡ ይረስዕዋ፡ ለእኪት፡ ወአመ፡ ዕለተ፡ እኪት፡ ይረስዕዋ፡ ለሠናይት።
順境之日，人忘記了禍患；患難之日，人也不記念福樂。
In the day of good things there is a forgetfulness of evil things; And in the day of evil things a man will not remember things that are good.
11:26
እስመ፡ ቀሊል፡ በኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዕለተ፡ ሞት፡ እስመ፡ ይፈድዮ፡ ለሰብእ፡ በከመ፡ ግዕዙ።
因為在主眼中，在人死亡之日按他所行的報應他，乃是輕而易舉的事。
For it is an easy thing in the sight of the Lord To reward a man in the day of death according to his ways.
11:27
በእኪት፡ ዕለት፡ ይከሪ፡ ጽጋብ፡ ወበደኃሪቱ፡ ለሰብእ፡ ይትዐወቅ፡ ምግባሩ።
片刻的苦難使人忘卻安逸，人到了結局，他的作為便被顯露。
The affliction of an hour causes forgetfulness of delight; And in the last end of a man is the revelation of his deeds.
11:28
ወኢትበሎ፡ ለሰብእ፡ ብፁዕ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ትርአይ፡ ደኃሪቶ፡ ወበላዕለ፡ ውሉዱ፡ ያስተርኢ፡ ንብረቱ፡ ለሰብእ።
人未死之前，不要稱他為有福，因為人要在他的兒女身上被人認識。
Call no man blessed before his death; And a man will be known in his children.
11:29
ኢታብእ፡ ኵሎ፡ ሰብእ፡ ዘረከብከ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤትከ፡ እስመ፡ በብዙኀ፡ ይጠበበከ፡ ጕሕልያ።
不要把每個人都領進你的家，因為詭詐之人的詭計甚多。
Bring not every man into your house; For many are the plots of the deceitful man.
11:30
ቆቃሕ፡ ተሠግረ፡ በቈጽለ፡ አስርቆ፡ ከማሁ፡ ልቡ፡ ለእቡይ፡ ወከመ፡ ሰብአ፡ ዐይን፡ ይትሔዘባ፡ ለድቀቱ።
驕傲人的心如同籠中的誘鳥，又像窺探的人，伺機看你傾倒。
As a decoy partridge in a cage, so is the heart of a proud man; And as one that is a spy, he looks upon your falling.
11:31
መጠነ፡ ሠናይት፡ እኪተ፡ የዐስየከ፡ ጕሕልያ፡ ወይገብር፡ ለከ፡ ነውረ፡ በዘአልብከ።
因為他埋伏著要將美善之事化為禍患，並在可稱讚的事上加上污點。
For he lies in wait to turn things that are good into evil; And in things that are praiseworthy he will lay blame.
11:32
በብዝኀ፡ ትንታጉ፡ ለእሳት፡ ይበዝኅ፡ ፍሕሙ፡ ወብእሲሰ፡ ኃጥእ፡ ይንዕዋ፡ ለነፍሱ።
一粒火星能燃起一堆炭火，罪人也埋伏著要流人的血。
From a spark of fire a heap of many coals is kindled; And a sinful man lies in wait for blood.
11:33
ተዐቀብ፡ እምነ፡ እኩይ፡ እስመ፡ እኪተ፡ ይፈጥር፡ ከመ፡ ኢይግበር፡ ለዝሉፉ፡ ጽዕለተ፡ ላዕሌከ።
要提防作惡的人，因為他謀劃邪惡之事，免得他使你永遠蒙受污名。
Take heed of an evil-doer, for he contriveth wicked things; Lest haply he bring upon you blame forever.
11:34
ለእመ፡ አኅደርከ፡ ነኪረ፡ ምስሌከ፡ የሀውከከ፡ ወየዐልወከ፡ ወያወፅአከ፡ እምንዋይከ።
你若收留外人住宿，他必以紛擾攪亂你，使你與自己的親人疏遠。
Receive a stranger into your house, and he will distract you with brawls, And estrange you from your own.
