49:1

ዝክሩ፡ ለኢዮስያስ፡ ሠናይ፡ ዝክረ፡ ጥበብ፡ ከመ፡ ዕፍረት፡ ዘቅድው፡ መዐዛሁ፡ ወጥዑም፡ ከመ፡ መዓር፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ አፍ፡ ወከመ፡ ማሕሌት፡ ውስተ፡ ስታይ።

約西亞的記念如同配製的香品，是按配香者的手藝調成的；在各人口中如蜜般甘甜，又如酒宴中的音樂。

The memorial of Josiah is like the composition of incense Prepared by the work of the apothecary: It shall be sweet as honey in every mouth, And as music at a banquet of wine.

49:2

ወውእቱ፡ ረትዐ፡ ወሜጦሙ፡ ለሕዝብ፡ ወአእተተ፡ ኵሎ፡ ኀጢአተ፡ ርኵስ።

他在百姓歸正的事上行得正直，又除掉那可憎的罪孽。

He behaved himself uprightly in the conversion of the people, And took away the abominations of iniquity.

49:3

ወአርትዐ፡ ልቦ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወበመዋዕለ፡ ኀጥኣን፡ አጽንዓ፡ ለጽድቅ።

他向主存正直的心；在惡人的日子，他使敬虔得以堅立。

He set his heart right toward the Lord; In the days of wicked men he made godliness to prevail.

49:4

ዳዊት፡ ዳእሙ፡ ወሕዝቅያስ፡ ወኢዮስያስ፡ ወኵሎሙ፡ እልክቱሰ፡ አበሱ፡ ወጌገዩ፡ ወኀደጉ፡ ሕጎ፡ ለልዑል፡ ወኀልቁ፡ ነገሥተ፡ ይሁዳ።

除了大衛、希西家和約西亞之外，眾王都犯了過犯；因為猶大的列王離棄了至高者的律法，盡都消亡了。

Except David and Hezekiah and Josiah, All committed trespass: For they forsook the law of the Most High; The kings of Judah failed.

49:5

እስመ፡ አግብኡ፡ ቀርኖሙ፡ ለባዕድ፡ ወክብሮሙኒ፡ ለካልእ፡ ሕዝብ።

因為他們把自己的角給了別人，把自己的榮耀給了外邦。

For they gave their power to others, And their glory to a strange nation.

49:6

ወአውዐይዋ፡ ለሀገር፡ ኅሪት፡ ወቅድስት፡ ወአጥፍኡ፡ ፍናዊሃ፡ በእደ፡ ኤርምያስ።

他們焚燒那蒙揀選的聖城，使她的街道荒涼，

They set on fire the chosen city of the sanctuary, And made her streets desolate, as it was written by the hand of Jeremiah.

49:7

እስመ፡ ሣቀይዎ፡ ወውእቱሰ፡ እምከርሠ፡ እሙ፡ ተቀደሰ፡ ይኩን፡ ነቢየ፡ ከመ፡ ይሠሩ፡ ወከመ፡ ያጥፍእ፡ ወከማሁ፡ ከመ፡ ይትክል፡ ወከመ፡ ይሕንጽ።

正如耶利米藉著他的手所說的。因為他們苦待了耶利米；他原是在母腹中就分別為聖、立為先知的，要去拔出、拆毀、毀壞，也照樣去建造、栽植。

For they entreated him evil; And yet he was sanctified in the womb to be a prophet, To root out, and to afflict, and to destroy; And in like manner to build and to plant.

49:8

ወሕዝቅኤልኒ፡ ዘርእየ፡ ርእየተ፡ ስብሐቲሁ፡ ወርእዩ፡ ላእለ፡ ሠረገላ፡ ዘኪሩቤል።

以西結看見了榮耀的異象，就是神在基路伯的車輦上向他顯明的。

It was Ezekiel who saw the vision of glory, Which God showed him upon the chariot of the cherubim.

49:9

ወዘከሮሙ፡ በመዐት፡ ለፀር፡ ወበሠናይ፡ አርትዐ፡ ፍናዎሙ፡ ለጻድቃን።

他確實在風暴中記念仇敵，又施恩給那些行正直道路的人。

For verily he remembered the enemies in storm, And to do good to those who directed their ways aright.
