50:1

ስምዖን፡ ወልደ፤….ካህን፡ ዐቢይ፡ ወበሕይወቱ፡ ሐነጸ፡ ቤተ፡ ወበመዋዕሊሁ፡ አጽንዐ፡ ጽርሐ።

阿尼亞的兒子大祭司西門，他活著的時候修補了殿宇，在他的日子堅固了聖殿。

It was Simon, the son of Onias, the great priest, Who in his life repaired the house, And in his days strengthened the temple:

50:2

ወከማሁ፡ ሣረረ፡ ዘይነውኆ፡ ካዕበቶ፡ ወገብረ፡ ልብሰ፡ ቀጢነ፡ ዘይትዐጸፍ፡ ካህን።

那雙層牆的高處是由他奠基的，就是聖殿圍牆高聳的基墩。

And by him was built from the foundation the height of the double wall, The lofty underworks of the inclosure of the temple:

50:3

ወበመዋዕሊሁ፡ ሐነጸ፡ አንቅዕተ፡ ማያት፡ ወዐዘቅትኒ፡ ዘከመ፡ ማየ፡ ባሕር፡ ብዝኁ።

在他的日子，鑿出了蓄水的池子，那池的周圍大如海。

In his days the cistern of waters was diminished, The brazen vessel in compass as the sea.

50:4

ዘይኄልዮሙ፡ ለሕዝቡ፡ እምነ፡ ድቀት፡ ወኀሠሠ፡ አሠረ፡ ሀገር፡ ወቀተለ።

他顧念自己的百姓，免他們傾倒，又在圍困中加固城邑。

It was he that took thought for his people that they should not fall, And fortified the city against besieging:

50:5

ወተሰብሐ፡ በሚጠቶሙ፡ ለሕዝብ፡ ወበመንጦላዕተ፡ አንቀጸ፡ ቤት።

當他從聖所幔幕內出來、被百姓環繞的時候，何等的榮耀！

How glorious was he when the people gathered round him At his coming forth out of the sanctuary!

50:6

ከመ፡ ኮከበ፡ ጽባሕ፡ በውስተ፡ ደመና፡ ወከመ፡ ወርኅ፡ ምልእት፡ በዕለተ፡ ገሃህ።

如同雲中的晨星，如同月圓之時的明月，

As the morning star in the midst of a cloud, As the moon at the full:

50:7

ወከመ፡ ፀሓይ፡ እንተ፡ ታበርህ፡ በመቅደሱ፡ ለልዑል፡ ወከመ፡ ስብሐተ፡ ብርሃን፡ በ[ቀስተ]፡ደመና።

如同照耀至高者聖殿的太陽，如同在榮耀雲彩中發光的虹，

As the sun shining forth upon the temple of the Most High, And as the rainbow giving light in clouds of glory:

50:8

ወከመ፡ ጽጌ፡ ረዳ፡ በወርኀ፡ ኔዎን፡ ወከመ፡ ዘይፈሪ፡ ኀበ፡ ሙሓዘ፡ ማይ፡ ወከመ፡ ሠርጸ፡ ሊባኖስ፡ በመዋዕለ፡ ማእረር።

如同初熟時節的玫瑰花，如同水泉旁的百合花，如同夏日黎巴嫩樹木的嫩枝，

As the flower of roses in the days of new fruits, As lilies at the waterspring, As the shoot of the frankencense tree in the time of summer:

50:9

ወከመ፡ ስኂን፡ ውስተ፡ እሳት፡ ዲበ፡ ማዕጠንት፡ ወከመ፡ ንዋየ፡ ወርቅ፡ ዝብጦ።

如同香爐中的火與乳香，如同精金打成、鑲嵌各樣寶石的器皿，

As fire and incense in the censer, As a vessel all of beaten gold Adorned with all manner of precious stones:
