36:1
ለፈራሄ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኢይረክቦ፡ እኩይ፡ እንበለ፡ ከመ፡ ያመክርዎ፡ ወይድኅን፡ እምኔሃ።
萬有的神，主啊，求你憐憫我們，垂顧我們，又使你的可畏臨到萬國。
Have mercy upon us, O Lord the God of all, and behold;
36:2
ብእሲሰ፡ ጠቢብ፡ ያፈቅር፡ ሰሚዐ፡ መጽሐፍ፡ ወዘሰ፡ ይናፍቅ፡ ወኢይትአመን፡ በመጽሐፉ፡ ይከውን፡ ከመ፡ ሐመር፡ እንተ፡ ታንኮልል፡ ማእከለ፡ ዐውሎ።
求你向異邦舉手，叫他們看見你大能的權勢。
And send your fear upon all the nations:
36:3
ብእሲ፡ የቢብ፡ ይትአመን፡ ወይገኒ፡ በሕጉ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወእግዚአብሔር፡ ይከውኖ፡ ምእመኖ፡ ወያስተፌሥሖ።
你怎樣在他們面前藉我們顯為聖，求你也照樣在我們面前藉他們顯為大。
Lift up your hand against the strange nations; And let them see your mighty power.
36:4
አስተዳሊወከ፡ ዘትነብብ፡ ቃለከ፡ [አስምዕ]፡ ወቈጺረከ፡ ምክረ፡ ዘትገብር፡ አውሥእ።
主啊，求你使他們認識你，如同我們認識你一樣，知道除你以外，再沒有別神。
As you were sanctified in us before them, So be you magnified in them before us.
36:5
ከመ፡ መንኰራኵረ፡ ሰረገላ፡ ልቡ፡ ለአብድ፡ ወከመ፡ መንኮኮት፡ እንተ፡ ተዐውድ፡ ከማሁ፡ ምክሩ፡ ለፈራህ።
求你重新施行神蹟，再行奇事；求你彰顯你的手和你大能的右臂。
And let them know you, as we also have known you, That there is no God but only you, O God.
36:6
ፈረስ፡ ገይድ፡ ከመ፡ ዐርክ፡ ኄር።
求你激動忿怒，傾倒烈怒；除去敵手，剪除仇敵。
Show new signs, and work various wonders; Glorify your hand and your right arm.
36:7
በእፎ፡ ዕለት፡ እምዕለት፡ ትነውኅ፡ እንዘ፡ ኵሉ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ዓመት፡ በብርሃነ፡ ፀሓይ፡ የሐውር።
求你催促時候，記念你的誓言，叫人傳揚你大能的作為。
Raise up indignation, and pour out wrath; Take away the adversary, and destroy the enemy.
36:8
ወበትእዛዘ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይትፈለጥ፡ ኵሉ፡ መዋዕል፡ ወጊዜ፡ በዓላቲሁ፡ በኁላቋሁ፡ ይትዐወቅ።
願脫逃的人被烈火的怒氣吞滅；願苦害你子民的人遭遇滅亡。
Hasten the time, and remember the oath; And let them declare your mighty works.
36:9
እምውስተ፡ መዋዕልኒ፡ ቦ፡ ዘቀደሰ፡ ወአዕበየ፡ ወፈለጠ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ክረምተ፡ ወማእረረ፡ ወሐጋየ፡ በበ፡ ኁላቋሆሙ፡ ወበበ፡ ጊዜሆሙ።
求你打碎那些仇敵首領的頭，就是那些說「除我們以外，再無別的」的人。
Let him that escapes be devoured by the rage of fire; And may those who harm your people find destruction.
36:10
ወኵልነ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ እምውስተ፡ መሬት፡ ንሕነ፡ ወእምነ፡ ምድር፡ ተፈጥረ፡ አዳም።
求你招聚雅各的各支派，使他們承受產業，如同起初一樣。
Crush the heads of the rulers of the enemies, That say, There is none but we.
36:11
ወሌለዩ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በብዝኀ፡ ጥበቢሁ፡ ወሠርዖሙ፡ ፍናዊሆሙ።
主啊，求你憐憫這稱為你名下的子民，就是你看為長子的以色列。
Gather all the tribes of Jacob together, And take them for your inheritance, as from the beginning.
36:12
ወቦ፡ እለ፡ ባረከ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ወአዕበዮሙ፡ ወቦ፡ እለ፡ ቀደሰ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ወአስተርአየ፡ ሎሙ፡ ወቦ፡ እለ፡ ረገመ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ወአኅሰሮሙ፡ ወዐለዎሙ፡ በከመ፡ ምግባሮሙ።
求你憐恤你的聖城耶路撒冷，就是你安息之所。
O Lord, have mercy upon the people that is called by your name, And upon Israel, whom you did liken to a firstborn.
36:13
ከመ፡ ጽቡር፡ ውስተ፡ እዴሁ፡ ለለብሓዊ፡ ከማሁ፡ ንሕነ፡ በኀቤሁ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ግብሩ፡ የሐውር፡ በፍናዊሁ፡ ወከማሁ፡ ሰብእኒ፡ ውስተ፡ እደ፡ ፈጣሪሁ፡ ወይፈድዮ፡ ለኵሉ፡ በከመ፡ ምግባሩ።
求你使錫安充滿你的頌讚，使你的子民充滿你的榮耀。
Have compassion upon the city of your sanctuary, Jerusalem, the place of your rest.
36:14
መናቅዕቲሃ፡ ለእኪት፡ ሠናይት፡ ወመናቅዕቲሃ፡ ለሞት፡ ሕይወት፡ ከማሁ፡ መናቅዕቲሁ፡ ለጻድቅ፡ ኃጥእ።
求你向你起初所造的眾生作見證，又興起那些奉你名所說的預言。
Fill Sion; exalt your oracles, And fill your people with your glory.
36:15
ወምስለ፡ ኵሉዝ፡ ርኢ፡ ግብሮ፡ ለልዑል፡ ወኵሉ፡ በበክልኤቱ፤፩፩በበዚአሁ።
求你賞賜那些等候你的人；願你的眾先知被人信實接受。
Give testimony to those that were your creatures in the beginning, And raise up the prophecies that have been in your name.
36:16
አንሰ፡ ድኅረ፡ ኀለይክዎ፡ ለዝንቱ፡ ወኀሠሥክዎ፡ እምጥንቱ።
主啊，求你照著亞倫為你子民所祝的福，垂聽懇求你之人的祈求。
Give reward to those who wait for you: And men shall put their trust in your prophets.
36:17
ተሣሀለነ፡ እግዚኦ፡ አሕዛበከ፡ እለ፡ ተሰምዩ፡ በስምከ፡ ወለእስራኤልሂ፡ እለ፡ በበኵርከ፡ አስተማሰልከ።
願地上眾人都知道，你是主，是萬世之神。
Hearken, O Lord, to the prayer of your suppliants, According to the blessing of Aaron concerning your people; And all those who are on the earth shall know That you are the Lord, the eternal God.
36:18
ተሣሀል፡ ሀገረ፡ ቅድሳቲከ፡ ወኢየሩሳሌምሂ፡ ሀገረ፡ ማኅደረ፡ ምዕራፊከ።
肚腹能喫各樣食物，但這食物卻比那食物更美。
The belly will eat any meat; Yet is one meat better than another.
36:19
ወምልኣ፡ ለጽዮን፡ በረከተ፡ ቃልከ፡ ወእምነ፡ ስብሐቲከ፡ ላዕለ፡ ሕዝብከ።
口能嘗出獵物的滋味，照樣，明達的心也能辨別虛假的言語。
The mouth tastes meats taken in hunting: So does an understanding heart false speeches.
36:20
ወሀቦሙ፡ ሕገ፡ ለቀደምት፡ [ፍጡራኒከ]፡ ወአቅም፡ ነቢያተ፡ ለስምከ።
乖僻的心使人憂愁；閱歷豐富的人卻必加以回報。
A froward heart will cause heaviness: And a man of experience will recompense him.
36:21
ወሀቦሙ፡ ዕሴቶሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ተሰፈዉከ፡ ከመ፡ ይእመንዎሙ፡ ለነቢያቲከ።
婦人可以接納任何男子，但這女兒卻勝過那女兒。
A woman will receive any man; But one daughter is better than another.
36:22
ስማዕ፡ እግዚኦ፡ ጸሎቶሙ፡ (ለነቢያቲከ፡ወ)ለአግብርቲከ፡ በረከተ፡ አሮን፡ ፈኑ፡ ላዕለ፡ ሕዝብከ፡ ወያእምሩ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ሀለዉ፡ ዲበ፡ ምድር፡ ከመ፡ አንተ፡ ውእቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላክ፡ ዘለዓለም።
婦人的美貌使人面容歡悅；過於人心所喜愛的一切。
The beauty of a woman cheers the countenance; And a man desires nothing so much.
36:23
ኵሉ፡ እክል፡ ይትበላዕ፡ ወይወርድ፡ ውስተ፡ ከርሥ፡ ወባሕቱ፡ ቦ፡ እክል፡ ዘይጥእም፡ እምእክል።
她舌頭上若有慈愛與溫柔，她的丈夫就不同於一般世人了。
If there is on her tongue mercy and meekness, Her husband is not like the sons of men.
36:24
ወጕርዔ፡ ይፈልጦ፡ ለኵሉ፡ ጣዕመ፡ እክል፡ ወከማሁ፡ ልቡ፡ ለጠቢብ፡ ይፈልጥ፡ ነገረ፡ ሐሰት።
娶妻的人，是得着產業的開端，得着與他相配的幫助，和安息的柱石。
He that gets a wife enters upon a possession: A help meet for him, and a pillar of rest.
36:25
ልብ፡ እኩይ፡ ያመጽእ፡[ሐዘነ፤]፡ ወብእሲ፡ ዘብዙኀ፡ ሐመ፡ ይለምዶ፡ ትዕግሥቱ።
沒有籬笆的地方，產業必被劫掠；沒有妻子的人，必四處漂泊嗟嘆。
Where no hedge is, the possession will be laid waste: And he that has no wife will mourn as he wandereth up and down.
36:26
ኵሉ፡ ተባዕት፡ ይትወከፍ፡ አንስተ፡ ወቦ፡ ብእሲት፡ እንተ፡ ትሤኒ፡ እምብእሲት።
誰會信任那從這城跳到那城、輕裝的強盜呢？
For who will trust a nimble robber, that skips from city to city? Even so who shall trust a man that has no nest, and lodges wherever he finds himself at nightfall?
36:27
ላሕያ፡ ለብእሲት፡ ያበርሆ፡ ለገ[ጽ]፡ እምኵሉ፡ ፍትወተ፡ ብእሲ፡ ይእቲ፡ ተዐቢ።
照樣，誰會信任那無巢可歸、隨處過夜的人呢？
So is a man who has no nest, and who lodges wherever night overtakes him.
