便西拉智訓 第 15 章

15:1
ፈራሄ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይገብር፡ ከመዝ፡ ወዘየዐቅብ፡ ሕጎ፡ ይረክባ።
敬畏主的人必行這事，持守律法的人必得著她。
He that fears the Lord will do this; And he that has possession of the law will obtain her.
15:2
ወትጸንሖ፡ ከመ፡ እሙ፡ ወተሐቅፎ፡ ከመ፡ ብእሲት፡ ድንግል።
她必如母親迎接他，又如貞潔的新婦接納他。
And as a mother shall she meet him, And receive him as a wife married in her virginity.
15:3
ወትሴስዮ፡ እክለ፡ ጥበብ፡ ወታሰትዮ፡ ማየ፡ አእምሮ።
她必以見識的餅餵養他，給他智慧的水喝。
With bread of understanding will she feed him, And give him water of wisdom to drink.
15:4
ወይትመረጐዝ፡ ባቲ፡ ወኢይተነትን፡ ወይትአመን፡ ባቲ፡ ወኢይትኀፈር።
他必倚靠她，總不動搖；倚賴她，總不蒙羞。
He will be stayed upon her, and will not be moved; And will rely upon her, and will not be confounded.
15:5
ወታዐቢዮ፡ እምነ፡ ቢጹ፡ ወበማእከለ፡ ብዙኃን፡ ይከሥት፡ አፉሁ።
她必使他高升在鄰舍之上，在會眾之中開他的口。
And she will exalt him above his neighbors; And in the midst of the congregation will she open his mouth.
15:6
ወትሁቦ፡ አክሊለ፡ (ጥበብ፡ወ)ትፍሥሕት፡ ወሐሤት፡ ወይወርስ፡ ስመ፡ ዘለዓለም።
他必承受喜樂、歡騰的冠冕，並永遠的名。
He will inherit joy, and a crown of gladness, And an everlasting name.
15:7
ወአብዳንሰ፡ ኢይረክብዋ፡ ወኃጥኣንሰ፡ ኢይሬእይዋ።
愚昧的人不能得著她，罪人也不能看見她。
Foolish men will not obtain her; And sinners will not see her.
15:8
ርሕቅት፡ እምነ፡ ዕቡያን፡ ወሐሳውያንኒ፡ ኢይዜከርዋ።
她遠離驕傲，說謊的人也必不記念她。
She is far from pride; And liars will not remember her.
15:9
ኢኮነ፡ አዳመ፡ ቃለ፡ አፉሁ፡ ለኃጥእ፡ እስመ፡ ኢኮነ፡ በፍርሃተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘይነብብ።
頌讚在罪人口中並不相宜，因為這頌讚不是主所賜的。
Praise is not comely in the mouth of a sinner; For it was not sent him from the Lord.
15:10
በጥበብ፡ ይነግርዋ፡ ለአምሳል፡ ወእግዚአብሔር፡ ይረድኦ፡ ለዘ፡ ይትሜሀር።
因為頌讚要在智慧中發出，主也必使它亨通。
For praise will be spoken in wisdom; And the Lord will prosper it.
15:11
ኢትበል፡ በእንተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ተሐረምኩ፡ ወዘውእቱ፡ ጸልአ፡ ኢትግበር።
不要說：『是主使我背道的。』因為他所恨惡的事，你不可去行。
Say not you, It is through the Lord that I fell away; For you shall not do the things that he hates.
15:12
ወኢትበል፡ ውእቱ፡ አስሐተኒ፡ ውእቱሰ፡ ኢይፈቅድ፡ ብእሴ፡ ኃጥእ።
不要說：『是他使我迷失的。』因為他不需要罪人。
Say not you, It is he that caused me to err; For he has no need of a sinful man.
15:13
እስመ፡ ኵሎ፡ ርኩስ፡ ጸልአ፡ እግዚአብሔር፤….።
主憎惡一切可憎之事，敬畏他的人也不喜愛這事。
The Lord hates every abomination; And those who fear him love it not.
15:14
ውእቱ፡ ገብሮ፡ ለእጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ቀዳሚሁ፡ ወኀደጎ፡ በግዕዙ፡ በዘፈቀደ።
他從起初造了人，便將他交在自己抉擇的手中。
He himself made man from the beginning, And left him in the hand of his own counsel.
15:15
ወለእመሰ፡ ትፈቅድ፡ ትዕቀብ፡ ትእዛዞ፡ ወትግበር፡ ሃይማኖተ፡ ፈቃዱ።
你若願意，就能遵守誡命；守住信實，全在乎你的甘心樂意。
If you will, you shall keep the commandments; And to perform faithfulness is of your own good pleasure.
15:16
ናሁ፡ አንበረ፡ ለከ፡ እሳተ፡ ወማየ፡ ከመ፡ ትደይ፡ እዴከ፡ ኀበ፡ ኀረይከ።
他在你面前擺設火與水，你願意伸手取哪樣都可以。
He has set fire and water before you: You will stretch forth your hand to whichever you will.
15:17
ሕይወትኒ፡ ወሞትኒ፡ ቅድሜሁ፡ ለእጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ወዘኀረየ፡ እምውስቴቱ፡ ይሁብዎ።
在人面前有生與死，他喜悅哪樣，就賜給他哪樣。
Before man is life and death; And whichever he likes, it shall be given him.
15:18
እስመ፡ ብዙኅ፡ ጥበበሁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ጽኑዕ፡ ኀይሉ፡ ወያአምር፡ ኵሎ፡ ወይሬኢ።
因為主的智慧浩大，他大有能力，鑒察萬事。
For great is the wisdom of the Lord: He is mighty in power, and sees all things;
15:19
ወአዕይንቲሁኒ፡ ኀበ፡ እለ፡ ይፈርህዎ፡ ውእቱ፡ ያአምር፡ ኵሎ፡ ግብሮ፡ ለእጓለ፡ እመሕያው።
他的眼目看顧敬畏他的人，他洞悉人的一切作為。
And his eyes are upon those who fear him; And he will take knowledge of every work of man.
15:20
ወውእቱሰ፡ አልቦ፡ ለዘ፡ አዘዘ፡ ይግበሩ፡ ኀጢአተ፡ ወኢያብሐ፡ ወኢለመኑሂ፡ ከመ፡ ያአብሱ።
他從未吩咐人作惡，也未許可任何人犯罪。
He has not commanded any man to be ungodly; And he has not given any man licence to sin.
